Abstract

The purpose of this study was to observe the growth and production of the Super Philips variety of shallots against the administration of Moringa leaf POC. The study was conducted in Klambir Lima Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level. This research was conducted from January to April 2022. The research method used was a single factor Randomized Block Design (RAK). These factors consisted of 4 treatments, namely: K0 (control), K1 (200 ml/liter water/plot), K2 (400 ml/liter water/plot) and K3 (600 ml/liter water/plot). Parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves, number of tubers per sample, tuber diameter, wet weight of sample per sample, and wet tubers per plot. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance. If the results of the analysis of varieties have a significant difference at = 5%, then proceed with the DMRT test (Duncan Multiple Range Test). The results showed that the best concentration of Moringa leaf POC was 200 ml/liter of water/plot. Keywords: shallots, Super Philips, POC, Moring

Abstract

Shallots are a leading commodity where shallots are a food security commodity. This study aims to determine the increase in the growth of several varieties of shallots. This study used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely several varieties of shallots (V) consisting of super philip, bauji, bima and maja cipanas. POC banana weevil plus (P) consisting of 0 ml/liter water/plot, 150 ml/liter water/plot, 300 ml/liter water/plot, 450 ml/liter water/plot Plant observations included leaf length (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tillers per clump (saplings). The results showed that several shallot varieties experienced an increase in plant height, number of leaves and number of tillers. Where the best varieties are majacipanas (plant height) and bima varieties (number of leaves). Keywords: banana weevil plus, growth, poc, varieties

Abstract

The current rapid developments and globalization have triggered the conversion of agricultural land into residential, industrial and urban areas which has reduced land for agriculture. Aquaponics basically consists of fish farming and plant maintenance. Water, which is a medium for fish cultivation, is used as a source of nutrition in plant maintenance, while plants function as a biofilter for water. This cultivation technique is expected to obtain high productivity with limited land. Besides being able to meet food needs, it can also provide aesthetic value and environmental cleanliness in urban areas. This study used red onion seeds of the Sanren variety. This study was an experimental study using a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 1 treatment factor and 5 blocks. so as to get 20 research plots. Factor Planting media with symbol (M) which consists of 4 levels, namely: M1: Compost, M2: Chaff Charcoal, M3: Cocopeat, M4: Rice Husk. The results showed that the use of several planting media in the floating raft aquponic system had a very significant effect on the number of tillers (saplings), dry tuber weight per sample (g), dry tuber weight per plot (g). Keywords: Shallots, Growing Media, Floating Raft

Abstract

Coffee beans are covered in a hard shell so they take a long time to germinate. The length of germination time will affect coffee growth and production. To speed up the germination of coffee beans, growth regulators can be used. Apart from that, the growth of coffee plants can also be influenced by the planting media used to live and obtain nutrients. This research used a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors and 3 blocks to obtain 36 research plots. Factor 1: soaking time for growth regulators in Moringa leaf extract (T) consisting of 4 levels: T0: 0 hours, T1: 6 hours, T2: 12 hours, T3: 18 hours. Factor 2: The combination of planting media denoted by (M) consists of 4 levels: M0: topsoil, M1: topsoil + rice husk charcoal + goat dung (2:1:1), M2: topsoil + charcoal rice husks + chicken manure (2:1:1). The research results showed that the soaking time for the growth regulator, Moringa leaf extract, did not have a significant effect on the root length of Robusta coffee plants, but the combination of planting media had a significant effect on the root length of Robusta coffee plants. Keywords : robusta coffee, live and obtain nutrients, moringa leaf

Abstract

This study aims to stimulate plant growth to obtain the best harvest for soybean plants. This study explores the potential of soil microorganisms, especially rhizobacteria, to provide positive benefits to the development of soybean plants.By conducting biopriming, it is expected to increase soybean plant productivity through the positive effects of the interaction between seeds and soil microbes. The results of the study showed The results of the study can be concluded that the best soybean plant production is by soaking the seeds for 20 minutes. This can be seen in the parameters of wet weight per plot and dry weight per plot.  Keywords: results, soybeans, soaking, rhizobacteria, time

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of the combination of POP from chickens and goats and POC from rice water on the growth of sweet corn plants. The study used a completely randomized block design (RAK), then a statistical test of variance analysis was carried out on each observation which was measured for its truth using Duncan's multiple range test. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that from the data from the analysis of variance, the combination of interactions between chickens and goats gives significantly different interaction effects on the growth of plant height (cm), leaf area (cm2), number of leaves (strands), number of rows of cobs. , cob diameter (cm2), weight per sample (g), and weight per plot (kg). The combination of chicken pop with goat gave a significantly different effect to the 75% chicken + 25% goat treatment. Giving POC of rice washing water had a real effect on the treatment of 750ml/l water Keywords: sweet corn, chicken pop, goat pop, rice washing water poc

Abstract

Efforts that can be made to increase corn productivity are by adding organic materials from plant residues and animal waste to the soil. This study aims to determine the effect of cow dung and liquid organic fertilizer from agricultural waste and their interactions on the growth and production of corn plants. This study used a Randomized Block Design with 2 factors and 3 replications to obtain 48 research plots. Factor I cow dung with the symbol "S" consists of 4 levels, namely: S0 = 0 g, S1 = 200 g, S1 = 300 g, S1 = 400 g. Factor II liquid organic fertilizer from agricultural waste with the symbol "P" consists of 4 levels, namely: P1 = 100 ml, P2 = 200 ml, P3 = 300 ml, P4 = 400 ml. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, weight per plot, cob length, cob diameter. The results of the study showed that the provision of cow dung and liquid organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on all observation parameters. Interaction had no significant effect on all observation parameters. Keywords: cow dung, agricultural waste, sweet corn

Abstract

Obtaining soybeans with good yields can utilize chicken manure fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer from water hyacinth. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of chicken manure fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer from water hyacinth on soybean plant production. The research method used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 16 treatment combinations and 2 blocks. The factors studied were chicken manure fertilizer treatment (A) consisting of 4 levels: 0, 2, 3, and 3 kg/plot. The liquid organic fertilizer from water hyacinth (E) consisted of 4 levels: 0, 300, 400, and 500 ml/liter of water per plot. The parameters observed were: number of pods per plot (pods), pod weight per sample (g), and weight of 100 dry seeds (g). The research results indicate that the effectiveness of chicken manure fertilizer on soybean plant production has a very significant effect on the number of pods per plot (pods), pod weight per sample (g), and 100 dry seed weight (g). The best treatment was the application of chicken manure fertilizer at 3 kg/plot. Keywords: influential, production, treatment
