Abstract

Wali Kelas merupakan seorang yang memiliki peran penting dalam hubungan antara sekolah, siswa dan orang tua. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya desain kelas yang belum sesuai dengan tingkatan kelas dan umur peserta didik di dalam kelas. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mengetahui peran wali kelas dalam mendesain kelas meliputi perencanaan wali kelas, pelaksanaan wali kelas dan evaluasi dalam mendesain kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wali kelas dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan wali kelas dalam mendesain ruang belajar di MIN 11 Banda Aceh memiliki beberapa tahapan yaitu, menetapkan target atau tujuan, mengumpulkan informasi, menentukan cara atau koordinasi, Menentukan desain baru untuk ruang belajar peserta didik, Menganalisa kebutuhan, Menentukan prioritas, membuat strategi alternatif, dan menentukan dana yang dibutuhkan. Pelaksanaan wali kelas dalam mendesain yaitu, melakukan rapat kegiatan dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, melakukan pembagian-pembagian pekerjaan sesuai bidang yang ada, dan melakukan kegiatan mendesain sesuai  prosedur  yang telah dibuat.  Standar evaluasi  wali  kelas  yaitu,  penerapan  pengaturan tempat duduk peserta didik, Pengelolaan bentuk tema ruang kelas peserta didik, penataan pajangan dari hasil karya peserta didik,  dan pengaturan variasi warna ruang kelas peserta didik.

Abstract

Dayah is considered an institution that builds an essential base for developing education in Indonesia. In recent years, the quantity has increased, especially in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Indonesia's westernmost province. However, a big problem still arises here, and the dayah needs more learning methodology in some Islamic sciences, especially in interpreting the Qur'an. This study aims to examine the interpretation learning methods practiced so far in the dayah and simultaneously offer solutions to the interpretation learning methods in the Aceh Dayah. Using descriptive qualitative research, it can be concluded that the teaching methods used by dayahs in Aceh are still classic, for example, the wetonan (bandungan), sorogan, memorization, and discussion methods. In this article, the authors offer new learning strategies such as discovery or inquiry-discovery, mastery, integrated learning methods or integrated learning, and reception learning strategies. It is hoped that this learning method will encourage the dayah toward constructive development for the future of Islam

Abstract

Digital transformation in Indonesia's education sector, particularly the implementation of an online new student registration system, has significantly impacted efficiency and accessibility. This research focuses on MIN 3 Banda Aceh, which faces challenges related to infrastructure and technological understanding amid social diversity. A descriptive qualitative method was used to explore the experiences of administrators, parents, and prospective students through interviews and observations. The results indicate an increase in participation and parental trust in data security, although challenges still need to be addressed. These findings delve into the importance of integrating local values and Islamic education management principles in creating an inclusive and transparent system, with the hope of providing recommendations for better educational management in the future.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of experiential learning in developing students’ competencies within two Acehnese salafiyah dayah: Mudi Mesra and Ummul Ayman. It aims to reinterpret how experiential learning operates across ritual, vocational, institutional, and digital dimensions, thereby formulating a contextual framework for transformative Islamic education. Using a qualitative multiple-case design, data were collected from fifteen participants—including leaders, teachers, and students—through interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Thematic analysis, supported by triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing, ensured credibility and reflexivity. Findings reveal that experiential learning is systematically embedded in ritual and communal practices (muhadzarah, khutbah, tajhiz mayat), vocational and entrepreneurial training (banking, printing, tailoring, IT), institutional mediation through teungku-centered authority, and emerging digital engagement such as WhatsApp-based muzakarah. These practices affirm Dewey’s and Kolb’s experiential frameworks while contextualizing constructivist learning within Islamic communal culture. The study introduces the concept of an “experiential ecology of Acehnese dayah,” which integrates spirituality, institutional authority, and innovation. Theoretically, it enriches global debates on experiential pedagogy in faith-based education; practically, it provides a model for enhancing vocational and digital readiness without compromising religious authenticity.

Abstract

Social media serves several purposes for schools: disseminating information, increasing school-community contact, and building a positive school image. The objectives of this study were to (1) identify the positive influence of social media use on educational activities at SMA Labschool Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh and (2) assess the process of planning and developing content on social media for these purposes. A qualitative approach using descriptive methodology was used in this study. The Principal, PR staff, and publishing coordinator were all involved in data collection through interviews, observations, and document collection. By comparing multiple sources of information, the data became more valid. The results showed that social media use at SMA Labschool Universitas Syiah Kuala was carried out in a planned manner in accordance with the school's vision and mission. Promotion strategies were carried out by setting upload schedules, selecting platforms according to the audience, and presenting content that has character-building values. The use of social media has had positive impacts such as increasing school awareness and image, increasing parental trust, increasing the number of new students, and increasing student participation and creativity. The results of this study indicate that promoting educational activities through social media requires a well-thought-out strategy, as well as sustainable content management and strong community support for schools.
