Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia telah menetapkan Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) untuk menyetarakan level-level kualifikasi semua jenjang pendidikan di Indonesia. Melalui KKNI maka diharapkan tidak terjadi kesenjangan kualifikasi dan kompetensi dari berbagai institusi pendidikan di Indonesia. Bagaimana penerapan KKNI dalam konteks profesi guru? Bagaimana hubungannya dengan sertifikasi guru yang sedang dilaksanakan di Indonesia? Tulisan ini ingin mengkaji latar belakang dan dampak dari penerapan KKNI bagi profesi guru dan peluang-peluang penting yang bermanfaat bagi pengembangan profesionalisme guru di kemudian hari

Abstract

This article is a theoretical study of Vygotsky's idea of zone of proximal development. Its aimed at finding out of its relevance to contemporary educational practices that are increasingly complex. Through the description of the background of the emergence of this idea the author concludes that the idea of zone of proximal development is still relevant in modern education, especially to support the educational practices that are friendly toward student’s individual differences at school. Vygotsky's criticism of the practice of levering in schooling is a warning for teachers and education practicioners to consider learning interventions based on individual students' backgrounds especially their mental development differences so that education can be an effective medium to help children's growth and development optimally.

Abstract

Pastoral activity is a form of Church service to the lives of the people. Harmony and solidarity are basic attitudes necessary to live in a pluralist community. These attitudes can create social cohesion between members of the school community. However, the implementation of these attitudes depends on the policies, pedagogical models and habits carried out in schools. This study aims to describe the roles, challenges and pedagogical efforts of Catholic Religious Education teachers to increase harmony and solidarity between students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection methods are interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants included school principals, PAK teachers, parents, and students. The results of the interview were analyzed using three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the analysis found three points: 1) The Catholic religious education teachers have a direct and indirect role in efforts to increase harmony and solidarity between students; 2) The Catholic religious education teachers did not find any serious obstacles in the implementation of harmony and solidarity between students; Small obstacles occur when students have varied parents' economic backgrounds, so the process of adjusting students in school takes a relatively long time; 3) The Catholic religious education teachers' efforts to overcome obstacles to living in harmony and solidarity are to create a variety of activities that involve many students. Based on these findings, suggestions for improving the implementation of The Catholic religious education learning and further research are formulated.

Abstract

In the face of the rapid development of technology and the increasing demand for efficient energy management, controlling household lights remotely has become an essential feature of modern smart homes. This research aims to develop and test a remote lighting control system using the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, based on Arduino, which can be operated via a smartphone application to improve energy efficiency. The method used is an experimental approach with a quantitative design, where the system's functionality is evaluated in real-life settings. The system was tested across different locations, and the results show that it functions well with response times ranging from 1.6 to 3.99 seconds, demonstrating the system's dynamic responsiveness. The system allows users to operate lights remotely, helping reduce energy consumption in households. The implications of this study suggest that the IoT-based lighting control system can significantly contribute to energy savings, increase user convenience, and reduce carbon emissions. The findings also open up possibilities for expanding smart home technologies in resource-constrained environments. Further research is recommended to test the scalability of the system in larger residential settings and to explore its integration with other smart home devices for more comprehensive energy management solutions.
