Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang banyak ditemukan di Negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia. Terdapat 22,9 %, atau hampir satu dari empat anak berusia di bawah lima tahun (Balita) mengalami stunting. Lebih dari setengah balita yang mengalami stunting tersebut tinggal di Benua Asia dan lebih dari sepertiga tinggal di Benua Afrika.Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia menempati peringkat kelima terbesar di dunia. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey kasus control (Case Control). Populasi adalah seluruh balita yang mengalami stunting dan sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner dan menggunakan uji chi-square dan melihat factor risiko menggunakan uji Odds ratio. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kejadian stunting berisiko pada balita yang mengalami infeksi diare. Kejadian stunting berisiko pada balita yang tidak memenuhi ASI eksklusif.

Abstract

Adolescents are the group most vulnerable to anemia. Adolescents are categorized as anemic if their Hb level is <12 gr/dl. The prevalence of anemia in adolescents was 32% in 2018. Anemia can be caused by insufficient iron intake, menstruation, impaired absorption of iron, and the presence of infectious diseases. Increasing iron intake can be done by increasing local food intake. Moringa contains nutrients such as iron (fe), calcium (ca), vitamins A, β-carotene, protein, vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and B, and antioxidant compounds. Moringa can be processed into one of adolescents favorite snacks, namely ice cream. This study aims to determine the effect of giving ice cream with the addition of moringa leaf flour on the hemoglobin levels of female adolescents. This research was conducted with a one group pre post-test design. The sample in this study was 30 female adolescents. There is an effect of giving ice cream with the addition of Moringa flour on hemoglobin levels in young girls with a p-value of 0.002 (α<0.005). Abstract

Diet is one of the efforts made to lose a person's weight. Many teenagers are dissatisfied with their appearance, especially regarding body image or perception of their body which includes body shape and size. This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and the diet of young women in SMA Negeri 1 Kulisusu Utara, North Buton Regency. This research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross sectional study design and has been carried out on 17-22 July. The population was all students of class X and XI of SMA Negeri 1 Kulisusu Utara, North Buton Regency as many as 180 people and a sample of 124 people obtained using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that from 124 samples, most of them were 55 people (44.4%) with negative body image, unhealthy diet and 30 people (24.2%) with positive body image, healthy diet, then 21 people (16.9). %) with positive body image, unhealthy diet and 18 people (14.5%) with negative body image, had a healthy diet. The results of the chi-square test obtained p value of 0.001. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between body image and the diet of young women in SMA Negeri 1 Kulisusu Utara, Buton Regency. Suggestions in this study are for SMA Negeri 1 Kulisusu to provide counseling or socialization about nutritional status and a healthy diet, especially for young women. For young women to apply healthy dietary behavior and understand the condition of their nutritional status, which in general have normal nutritional status, so there is no need to do the wrong diet. For further researchers, in order to be able to examine other factors that cause the wrong diet in young women of SMA Negeri 1 Kulisusu.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure exceeds 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension can cause complications of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, heart disease and diabetes mellitus. The number of hypertension cases in Lemo-Lemo in 2019 was 112 new cases of hypertension and in 2020 increased to 150 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sodium consumption and physical activity with the incidence of hypertension. Quantitative research design, cross sectional study approach. The population is all coastal communities aged 18-50 years in the Lemo-Lemo Environment, Bombana Regency as many as 180 people and a sample of 64 people obtained by Simple Random Sampling. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test and Fisher Exact. The results obtained p value of 0.014 for the relationship of sodium intake with the incidence of hypertension, p value of 0.018 for the relationship of physical activity with the incidence of hypertension, The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between sodium consumption and physical activity with the incidence of hypertension. The suggestion of this research is for the coastal community of the Lemo-Lemo environment, to limit the consumption of salted fish, shrimp and shell. For the government of the Lemo-Lemo Environment, to provide education related to the prevention of hypertension through limiting foods that are high in sodium and for further researchers, to analyze other factors that cause hypertension such as macronutrient intake, family history, stress factors, age and obesity factors.

Abstract

This research is an observational study using a cross-sectional study. The research population was 132 female students (adolescent girls) in class X and XI at SMAN 1 Wawonii Barat aged 15-17 years. The sample was taken as many as 57 people using proportional stratified random sampling. Data was collected through interviews using questionnaires and assessing nutritional status through measuring body weight and height. The data collected were the characteristics of young women, nutritional status based on BMI, body image, physical activity and respondents' knowledge about nutrition. Based on the research results, it was found that 61.4% of young women had thin nutritional status, 38.6% had dissatisfied body image, 47.4% had poor physical activity, 29.8% had poor nutritional knowledge. Statistical tests show that there is a significant relationship between physical activity (P=0.006) and nutritional knowledge (P=0.026) with the nutritional status of adolescent girls at SMAN 1 Wawonii Barat. In order to build a good body condition and resistance to disease, it is desired that students who now have poor nutritional status will attempt to improve it by adopting a balanced diet and taking regular pauses. Given that many pupils still have poor nutritional status, educators might use the research's findings as study material to shed light on the science of nutrition
