Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce inqury-based animated multimedia to improve chemistry learning outcomes in the reaction rate material, to find the quality of multimedia animation, and to find the responses given by both students and educators to the multimedia animation developed. The type of research used is  Research and Development (R & D), with the type of Plomp Model where the Plomp development model consists of five stages, namely: (1) initial inevestigation stage, (2) design stage, (3) stage of realization, (4) the stage of testing, evaluation, and revision, (5) the implementation phase. The data analysis technique used in this  research is a quantitative method using a questionnaire instrument student activity observation sheet, and Model Validation Sheet. The results of content validation were analyzed using Gregory method by using 2x2 Tabulations. Futhermore, the results of the  evaluation of the contents of the interpretation of the multimedia feasibility of the animation developed. Multimedia quality produced by referring to Nieveen’s criteria, namely validity, practice,and effectiveness Based on the validation of expert validators and education practitioners as well as detailed trials that have been carried out shows that multimedia animation developed are considered appropriate to be used as media learning.

Abstract

The quality of health services is what refers to the level of perfection of health services in causing satisfaction in each patient. The more perfect the satisfaction felt, the better the quality of health services. In organizing efforts to maintain the quality of health services in hospitals, it is inseparable from the nursing profession which plays an important role because nursing services guarantee high-quality nursing care in quality control programs in hospitals, considering that nursing services take place continuously for 24 hours a day. This study generally aims to determine the level of patient satisfaction with nurse services in terms of assurance, empathy, and responsiveness. This type of research is quantitative using a questionnaire measuring instrument, the sampling method is saturated sampling of 156 respondents. The results showed that there were variations in statements regarding nurse service satisfaction in the inpatient unit of Enrekang Hospital. Most respondents stated that they were satisfied with nurse services in terms of assurance, which involved dexterity and skill, thoroughness, explanation and observation of nurses every time they performed medical actions. Most respondents stated that they were satisfied with the nurse's service in terms of empathy (attention) which involves patience, chivalry, the attitude of the nurse whenever asked for help and always asking about the progress of the patient's illness.

Abstract

Hospital waste is all waste produced by hospital activities and other supporting activities. Considering the impacts that may arise, good management efforts are needed including tools and facilities, finances and organizational procedures that are determined with the aim of obtaining hospital conditions that meet environmental health requirements. The research used was observational with a descriptive approach, namely to determine the quality of liquid waste in hospitals in Makassar. This research was conducted from 20 to 27 June 2021 at the Hospital in Makassar. The population is liquid waste in hospitals in Makassar in 2021. The sample in this study is hospital effluent waste in Makassar in 2021. Waste water that is not handled properly will result in negative impacts, especially for health, so it needs good management so that when it is disposed of in A certain area does not cause pollution which is supported by the wastewater treatment plant (IPAL) owned by the hospital itself. It was concluded that the DO levels in the liquid waste produced were at a vulnerable level. The BOD level in liquid waste in the morning is at a moderate level and in the afternoon it is at a heavy level. COD levels in Makassar liquid waste in the morning are at moderate levels and in the afternoon at heavy levels. TSS levels in liquid waste in the morning are at moderate levels and in the afternoon they are at heavy levels. The pH level in liquid waste meets the requirements. TEMPERATURE levels in liquid waste meet the requirements.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efektivitas Buerger Allen Exercise (BAE) dan Diabetic Foot Exercises (DFE) terhadap kadar glukosa darah puasa pada penderita diabetes melitus (DM) tipe 2. Penelitian ini mendesain studi kuasi-eksperimental dengan kelompok kontrol nonekuivalen. Sebanyak 80 pra-lansia penderita DM tipe 2 berusia 45-59 tahun dari Puskesmas Bajoe, Kabupaten Bone, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok intervensi, masing-masing 40 orang. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis latihan fisik tersebut signifikan dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah secara statistik (p < 0,05). Namun, Diabetic Foot Exercises menunjukkan penurunan kadar glukosa darah yang jauh lebih besar dan signifikan secara klinis (penurunan rata-rata ≈ 107,8 mg/dl) dibandingkan dengan Buerger Allen Exercise (penurunan rata-rata ≈ 33,7 mg/dl). Dengan demikian, DFE dianggap lebih efektif untuk tujuan penurunan glukosa darah jangka pendek, sementara BAE lebih unggul untuk pencegahan komplikasi vaskular jangka panjang.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan kondisi kronis dimana terjadi kenaikan kadar glukosa dalam darah dikarenakan tubuh tidak dapat menghasilkan atau memproduksi insulin atau tubuh tidak dapat menggunakan insulin secara efektif. Penderita diabetes melitus di Kabupaten Bone masih tinggi oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta perilaku terkait penatalaksanaan diabetes melitus serta pentingnya minum obat dengan cara yang tepat agar obat yang digunakan efektif. Umat muslim di Indonesia sebentar lagi akan memasuki bulan ramadhan. Kedatangan Bulan Ramadhan adalah momen yang sangat dinantikan oleh seluruh umat muslim di dunia. Saat bulan Ramadhan, akan terjadi perubahan waktu makan, sehingga waktu mengkonsumsi obat juga perlu harus dilakukan penyesuaian. Penyesuaian terapi saat puasa dilakukan untuk menemukan pola terapi yang efektif dan aman sehingga kontrol glikemik tetap stabil selama puasa Ramadhan. Sehingga perlu edukasi untuk masyarakat tentang penggunaan antidiabetes. Dan didapatkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat terkait cara penggunaan obat antidiabetes pada bulan puasa masih belum merata sehingga kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini masih perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan untuk memastikan ketepatan dan keakuratan suatu informasi obat.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease and is a major factor in health problems in the world because of its high prevalence. In general, a person is considered to have hypertension if his blood pressure is more than 140/90 mmHg. So hypertension is a big challenge in Indonesia because it is often found in primary health services or in health centers. This study aims to determine the comparison of the Effect of Apium Graveolens L Decoction and Annona Muricata L Decoction on Reducing Blood Pressure in the Pre-Elderly at the Bajoe Health Center, Bone Regency. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent pretest-postest design with control group. The sample in this study is Pre-Elderly aged 45-59 years with a diagnosis of hypertension as many as 40 people at the Bajoe Health Center, Bone Regency. divided into two groups, namely the Apium Graveolens L decoction intervention group of 20 people and the Annona Muricata L decoction intervention group of 20 people according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on the dependent t-test statistical test, it can be seen that there is an effect of Apium Graveolens L decoction on the decrease in blood pressure with a p- value of 0.000 (p<0.05), while the results of the dependent t-test statistical test can be seen that there is an effect on the decrease in systolic blood pressure with a value of p 0.000 (p<0.05). Meanwhile, diastolic blood pressure has no effect with a value of p 0.106 (p>0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a comparison of the effect of Apium Graveolens L decoction and Annona Muricata L decoction on the reduction of blood pressure in the pre-elderly.
