Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran literasi kelas awal dilaksanakan di SDN No.73 Bontorita I Kecamatan Galesong Kabupaten Takalar di Kecamatan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta tentang macam-macam media literasi untuk kelas awal dan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada peserta untuk mengembangkan media literasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan di kelas awal. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode in house training dan workshop. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran dalam pelatihan adalah guru-guru kelas awal yang ada di SDN No. 73 Bontorita I, SDN No. 74 Bontorita II, dan SDN No. 191 Inpres Paku. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Tahap persiapan mempersiapkan bahan dan alat, tahap pelaksanaan membuat alat media literasi Big Book, presentasi dan demonstrasi baik secara mandiri maupun berkelompok. Dalam pelatihan, mahasiswa akan dibantu mulai dari merancang pembuatan media sampai cara penggunaanya. Evaluasi dari kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan nantinya adalah simulasi media  literasi Big Book. Media literasi Big Book memiliki karakteristik khusus, seperti penuh dengan warna-warni, gambar yang menarik. Media literasi Big Book merupakan cerita bergambar yang berisi materi yang disajikan secara naratif dan deskriptif yang berfungsi membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep yang rumit serta mampu mengoptimalkan otak untuk mengingat materi pelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini telah berjalan efektif, hasil pengamatan selama pelatihan berlangsung nampak bahwa, sekitar 85% peserta pelatihan memperlihatkan keseriusan dan antusias mengikuti selama pelatihan berlangsung. Hal tersebut terlihat bahwa peserta pelatihan sudah memahami pembuatan media literasi walaupun dengan cara yang sederhana. Kemudian peserta pelatiahan sudah memahami bagaimana memilih bahan atau materi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media literasi yang sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan sekolah

Abstract

Effectiveness Field Trip methods in Improving the Descriptive Writing Ability of Elementary Pupils. This study aims at determining the effectiveness of learning methods in improving the writing ability of fifth grade students in Enrekang and to know the difference of learning outcomes by using trip method and conventional model. This research used quantitative approach through experimental method by using pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed that the Field Trip was effective in teaching descriptive writing of the fifth grade students at elementary school at Enrekang.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV tentang HOTS dan mengaplikasikannya dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran. Adapun kegiatan yang berkaitan adalah; 1) Memahami pentingnya perangkat pembelajaran berbasis HOTS; 2) Mengetahui teknik pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran l berbasis HOTS dan 3) Praktik membuat perangkat pembelajaran berbasis HOTS. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Pelaksanaan kegiatan tepatnya di lokasi SD Kompleks Galangan Kapal Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar; 2) Observasi, yaitu mengadakan orientasi terhadap permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para guru yang terkait dengan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran HOTS; 3)Ceramah, dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan beberapa materi tentang Hakikat dan Pentingnya perangkat pembelajaran  berbasis HOTS; 4) Demonstrasi, memberikan praktek langsung pada peserta dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran berbasis HOTS. Hasilnya adalah program terlaksana dengan lancar dan sesuai rencana, peserta memperlihatkan minat dan perhatian yang serius terhadap materi pelatihan, pengajaran dan penerapan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran  berbasis HOTS.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the high-level thinking skills of students of SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV, Kecamatan Tallo Kota, Makassar and to determine whether there is influence of the PARE learning model (preview, ask, read and evaluate) on high-level thinking skills of SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV Kecamatan Tallo Kota, Makassar. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. The research design used was pre-experiment with the form of intag group comparison. The population in this study were all students of  SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV Kecamatan Tallo Kota, Makassar. The sample in this study were fifth grade students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that the higher order thinking skills of students in the experimental group were in the moderate category, while those in the control group were in very low categories. The results of the Independent Sample T-Test, post-non-test scores in the experimental group and the control group showed the results of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, which means that there is the influence of the PARE learning model (preview, ask, read and evaluate) on the higher order thinking skills of students of SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the PARE learning model (preview, ask, read and evaluate) can affect students' high-level thinking skills.

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low narrative essay writing skills of the fifth grade students of the Complex Elementary School of IKIP I Makassar City. The research objective was to find out: (1) the description of the paired story telling learning model in class V of IKIP I Elementary School, (2) description of students 'narrative essay writing skills on Indonesian language class V content of SD Negeri IKIP I Elementary School, and (3) whether the paired story telling learning model influences students' narrative essay writing skills on the fifth grade Indonesian language lesson at IKIP I Elementary School The approach taken is quantitative research type quasy experiment It is in the form of non-equivalent control group design. The independent variable in this study is the paired story telling learning model, while the dependent variable is narrative essay writing skills. The total population of 93 students namely the Va class was 46 students and the Vb class was 47 students. The research sample was 75 students conducted by drawing using the Simple Random Sampling technique with Slovin formula whose error rate was 5%. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Scenario (SPSS) system Version 25.0. The results of the study can be concluded that, the description of the paired story telling learning model takes place well because the percentage category for each meeting increases. So that it can be concluded that the paired story telling learning model influences the students' narrative essay writing skills in the fifth grade Indonesian language learning content at the IKIP I Makassar Complex State Elementary School.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve teachers’understanding SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV on HOTS basedquestions and implement them in making questions. Theactivities in this training are 1) understanding the importanceof HOTS-based questions, 2) exploring the correct techniquesin making HOTS-based questions, and 3) practicing makingHOTS-based questions. The results of this training showedthat 1) the training was conducted at SD InpresGalanganKapalIV Tallo district of Makassar; 2) Observating the orientation tothe problems faced by the teachers regarding making HOTSquestions; 3) Lecture session was conducted to introduce somematerials about the essentials and importance of HOTSquestions; 4) Demonstration in giving direct practice toparticipants in making HOTS questions. The result is that theprogram is carried out smoothly as planned, participants showserious interest and attention to the training, teaching andapplication materials for making HOTS-based questions.

Abstract

Active learning in primary school is a learning to enable students to learn actively. The result of the initial observation shows the primary school teachers have not implemented the active learning in their teaching maximally. This training involves 30 teachers from several primary schools in Tombolo Pao district of Gowa regency. The activities in the Active Learning Training for Primary School Teachers show satisfactory results, as the implementation of the training provides a great advantage of compile, implement and manage active learning activities in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this Talking Stick learning model training program is to train teachers in applying various innovative approaches in the teaching and learning process and increase teachers' insights on the application of varied methods / approaches so as not to give birth to boredom in the teaching process both for teachers themselves and students as participants students. Makassar City has several elementary schools, one of which is the Tidung II Inpres Elementary School with a address at Jalan. Bonto daeng Ngirate No. 10 A Bonto Makkio, Tidung Village, Rappocini District, Makassar City South Sulwesi Provention. Date of Decree of establishment 1910-01-01 with ownership status of the central government with state status, accreditation B and NPSN: 40307522. SD Inpres Tidung II School principal Hasdawati, with 10 permanent teachers and 349 students consisting of 171 men and 179 women . The problems faced by teachers at Makassar's Tidung II Elementary School (Mitra) in the community partnership program are as follows: 1). Teachers still do not understand / know innovative approaches in the learning process.2). Teachers have not optimally applied varied learning so that the learning process is loaded with conventional approaches. Improve students' speaking skills through the Talking stick learning model. The main methods adopted in implementing the community partnership program (PKM) are as follows; the presentation time of the Talking stick learning model material, using the lecture and question and answer method. At the time of the training the application of the process skills approach to the method used was demonstration or practice. Outputs The training activities are (1) Participants have knowledge and add insight into the Talking stick learning model in teaching speaking skills (2) Participants can apply in a more innovative learning process that is the Talking stick learning model (3). Improve students' reading skills through the Talking stick learning model. Based on the results of this training activity, it can be shown that what is proposed in the formulation of the problem can be carried out properly and directed. From the results of these implementation activities get an answer that teachers in participating in this activity are very enthusiastic and the ability of teachers to apply active learning is very good. This valuable opportunity was not wasted even though it was realized that starting from the time and facilities and infrastructure was very limited, but with a strong enthusiasm and encouragement from the school principals, making this activity can take place successfully and was very useful and beneficial. The implementation of this activity was carried out at SD Inpres Tidung II Makassar City for 5 days. The results of the implementation of this activity are the participants have been able to understand and practice the Talking stick learning model as a form of active learning teaching. The conclusions of this training activity are (1) Participants are aware that the material provided is very motivating and diversity in teaching, (2) Participants who participate in the training are all teachers of SD Inpres Tidung II Makassar Municipality and honorary who are experienced enough in learning. And when the training took place they were very enthusiastic in following the training process. The results of this training greatly enrich the knowledge that can be used as provisions for the future.

Abstract

This study aims to find out a picture of children's cognitive abilities in recognizing symbols and concepts of numbers 1-10 before and after being given the treatment of Number Card media and to find out whether there is an influence of Number Card media on the ability to recognize symbols and number concepts of children in group A TK Pembina Al-fadhilah. The subjects in this study were group A in Pembina Al-fadhilah Kindergarten, totaling 16 children. The method used is class action research in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of four phases; planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of the study show that with the card playing method, the number can improve children's cognitive abilities, as evidenced by an increase in assessment from pre-cycle, which is only 33.3%, increased in cycle I to 37.5%, in cycle II 62.5%, and in cycle III 87.5%.

Abstract

Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif Anak Kelompok A Melalui Kegiatan Menyusun Bentuk Geometri Dengan Berbagai Pola di TK AL – HIKMAH BBS Bogor. Kemampuan kognitif adalah salah satu bidang pengembangan dalam Pendidikan anak Usia Dini yang sangat penting, agar kelak anak dapat memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui kegiatan menyusun bentuk geometri dengan berbagai pola pada kelompok A di TK AL- HIKMAH BBS Bogor. Penelitian dilakukan dibulan Agustus – September, Subyek penelitian adalah anak Kelompok A1 di TK AL – HIKMAH BBS Bogor yang berjumlah 14 orang anak, terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 9 anak perempuan, penelitian dilakukan melalui 2 siklus, prosedur perbaikan melalui perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, tehnik analisa data melalui observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian dari Pra Siklus menunjukkan bahwa anak yang belum berkembang sebanyak 57%, kegiatan Siklus 1 anak yang berkembang sesuai harapan sekitar 50%, pada kegiatan Siklus II anak sudah berkembang sangat baik sebanyak 57 %. Kesimpulannya bahwa kegiatan menyusun bentuk geometri dengan berbagai pola pada kelompok A di TK AL – HIKMAH BBS Bogor dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak, dan guru harus pandai memilih bahan sebagai media yang menarik bagi anak serta berinovasi memberikan pola yang termudah terlebih dahulu kepada anak secara bertahap sebelum ke tahap pola yang lebih sulit.Kata kunci: Kognitif, Bentuk Geometri, Menyusun Pola
