Abstract

Admission of new students is an annual activity carried out by universities, therefore it requires special preparation and handling regarding this activity. It is not uncommon for universities to have to prepare teams in advance so that implementation can be optimal. However, it cannot be denied that the majority of universities only focus on administrative matters without trying to dig up information from big data on the history of new student registration in the previous year, so that it can be used as a source of new information to determine targets and estimate the number of new students. Seeing this problem, the researcher intends to propose a solution to the problem in determining estimates of new student admissions using the forecasting method using the Simple Linear Regression Algorithm. The application of these methods and algorithms is able to provide solutions in estimating/forecasting recommendations for new students who will enter AMIK Mahaputra Riau College in the following academic year

Abstract

At present, BPOM Pekanbaru, in the field of inspection, still uses manual methods for archiving and tracking. Therefore, employees need a long time to do archives because they are still inputted into the Microsoft Excel application. Besides that, to know the status of the submission letter, employees have to go back and forth asking and checking documents from related parties to see whether it has been followed up or not. The purpose of this research is intended for employees who have access rights to make it easier to do archives. For employee tracking activities, it is enough to check the status of the system regarding the progress of the letter and whether it has been followed up or not. The method used is a waterfall; this method is suitable for archiving and tracking problems in the inspection division because it starts from the stages of problem analysis, system design, building the system, and testing the system that has been built. The results of this study are in the form of an archive and tracking information system in the inspection division so that employees can be facilitated in archiving and monitoring documents that have been submitted.

Abstract

Pengelolaan surat adalah suatu proses penanganan surat masuk dan surat keluar yang kegiatannya dimulai dari penerimaan, pencatatan, pendistribusian dan penyimpanan surat. Pengelolaan surat pada kantor BPJS masih belum terlaksana secara cepat dan praktis, karena pada proses penginputan surat masuk, kode klasifikasi masih harus dicari dulu di file data kode klasifikasi yang jumlahnya ratusan, kemudian pada proses disposisi surat, harus dicetak terlebih dahulu dan data surat tersebut harus diinput lagi ke microsoft excel. Setelah selesai, lembar disposisi di-scan bersama dengan surat masuk lalu dikirim ke pihak bersangkutan melalui email. Proses disposisi bisa membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama ketika pimpinan memiliki banyak kesibukan seperti rapat atau dinas keluar kota. Sebelum membuat surat keluar, pegawai harus mengecek dulu nomor surat terakhir pada data surat di file Google Spreadsheet email kantor. Kemudian dengan banyaknya hasil disposisi yang dikirim membuat penyimpanan email kantor membengkak. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan itu maka dibangun sistem E-Surat berbasis web untuk mempermudah kantor BPJS Ketenagakerjaan cabang pekanbaru panam dalam pengiriman, pengarsipan dan penomoran surat serta mempermudah proses pengelolaan surat yang sifatnya sangat mendesak.

Abstract

Pengepul H. Muslimin adalah tempat transaksi jual beli tandan buah sawit (TBS). Saat ini, proses pengelolaan data TBS masih dilakukan secara tradisional dengan menggunakan buku besar. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa masalah, seperti kesulitan dalam mencari dan mengolah data TBS, termasuk masalah seperti kesalahan dalam mencatat berat timbangan, hilangnya atau tercecernya nota pembelian, dan kesulitan dalam menghitung biaya operasional yang telah dikeluarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah aplikasi jual beli TBS dengan menerapkan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dan Unified Modelling Language (UML), serta menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP sebagai fondasi untuk pengembangan aplikasi tersebut.
