Abstract

Poverty has always been a problem in every developing country, even in developed countries. In Indonesia, the high number of poor people is influenced by various factors, including the existence of inequality in the distribution of both per capita income between one provinces to another. This study aims to analyze how many influence the Gini Index and Williamson Index to the percentage of poor people in the province of Banten in 2000 - 2012. The method of analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis with the method of ordinary least squares (OLS). With the help of software Eviews 4.1. The results of this study indicate that the variable distribution of per capita income inequality (Gini index) is influencing positively and it gives a significant impact on the percentage of poor people in the province of Banten, while inequality of income distribution among districts / cities Williamson index does not affect the percentage of poor people in the province of Banten in 2000 - 2012.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology is supporting the use of Internet is marketing purposes such as corporate promotion by internet to attract customer awerness. PT. Indomika Utama was born on March 2002 as an custome acrylic producer for direct customer. The product has been promoted on line and also using on-line selling process to assist customer convenience and care. Since the product is customer base design (Customization product). This study aims to (1) Know the online relationship to purchasing decisions at the Acrylic express.com store (2) What online affects consumers to make purchasing decisions at express.com acrylic shop. Sampling method used is non probability sampling with sampling method saturated counted 41 respondents. Processed data used simple linear regression analysis. From the research results obtained conclusion that the characteristics of acrylic express store consumers dominated by the age of 26-30 years and female sex. In this study also concluded that online marketing has a relationship of 78.4% to consumer purchasing decisions on express.com acrylic store sites while the remaining 21.6% came from factors not examined in this study. And the tools of online marketing convenience indicators that determine consumers to make purchasing decisions at express.com acrylic stores

Abstract

The research discussed the characteristics and causes of sociopathy suffered by Kaz Brekker as seen in Six Crows by Leigh Bardugo. As the study talked about the mental health issue of the character in the novel, it applied psychoanalysis approach by Mahroof Hussain. The characteristics of sociopathy were analysed using Kathleen Smith’s theory and to identify the causes of sociopathy, Xuanxin Wen’s theory was employed. To collect data, the library research was carried out. The descriptive qualitative method was used to analyse the data. The result of the research indicated that there were four characteristics of sociopathy suffered by Kaz Brekker. Those characteristics were risk-taking, deceitfulness, hostility, and manipulation. The causes of sociopath suffered by Kaz Brekker were getting neglected, experiencing violence, and experiencing trauma in his childhood.

Abstract

AbstrakNilai perusahaan meenjadi persepsi pasar terhadap nilai ekonomi suatu perusahaan dan mencerminkankepentingan pemegang saham. Rasio ini mencerminkan kepercayaan pasar terhadap peningkatan nilai suatuperusahaan melebihi nilai aset yang tercatat dalam laporan keuangannya. Penelitian kali ini bertujuanmenganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, ukuran dewan direksi, jumlah direksi perempuan, ukuran komite audit sertarapat komite audit terhadap nilai perusahaan BUMN terdaftar di IDXBUMN20, periode 2019 hingga 2023.Menggunakan metode kuantitatif, Populasi penelitian berjumlah 20. Metode purposive sampling digunakan untukmemperoleh 15 sampel, dan total data observasi yang dilperoleh adalah 75. Temuan tersebut menjelaskan bahwaprofitabilitas, ukuran dewan direksi, jumlah direktur perempuan di dewan, ukuran komite audit, serta rapat komiteaudit secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas, jumlah direkturperempuan di dewan direksi, dan ukuran komite audit tidak mempunyai dampak signifikan. Ukuran dewan direksiserta rapat yang dilakukan komite audit berpengaruh masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan negatif. Kata Kunci-good corporate governance, nilai perusahaan, profitabilitas, Tobin’sQ

Abstract

This study describes the obsessive love of the main character as seen in the novel Cry, or Better Yet, Beg by Solche. It aims to determine the characteristics of obsessive love experienced by Matthias Von Henhardt as the obsessor and the negative impacts of obsessive love on Layla Llewellyn as the target of obsessive love. The method of collecting data in this research is library research, and the method of analyzing data is descriptive qualitative. The research focuses on a psychological approach. Susan Forward and Craig Buck’s theory was employed to identify the characteristics of obsessive love, while Belton and Bailey's theory was also applied to identify the negative impacts of obsessive love. The results show that the characteristics of obsessive love in the novel are one magic person, rejection, revenge, and the savior complex. Additionally, the negative impacts of obsessive love are stalking and domestic violence. Domestic violence happens in the form of physical abuse, emotional or psychological abuse, and sexual abuse. These results improve understanding of how obsessive love can turn into a toxic relationship as portrayed in popular digital literature.

Abstract

This research focuses on ESG scores as measured by Sustainalytics in collaboration with the Indonesia StockExchange since 2023. It is unique because it examines the factors influencing the ESG scores of companies assessedby Sustainalytics. This study aims to examine the effects of board diligence, board gender diversity, and board size,along with the control variables of age and firm size, on ESG scores. The population of this study consists of 79companies assessed by Sustainalytics, with a sample of 78 observations selected using purposive sampling. Theanalysis was performed using descriptive statistics and cross-sectional multiple regression with Eviews version 12.This study found that board member diligence, board gender diversity, and board size simultaneously affect ESGscore, with controls for age and firm size. However, board gender diversity has a negative and significant effect onESG score, while board member diligence and board size do not have a significant effect. The results suggest thatfuture research should explore additional variables, such as financial ratios and green investments. For companies, these findings can serve as a basis for improving governance factors that impact ESG score. For investors, ESGscores assessed by independent institutions can be a crucial factor in making investment decisions. Keywords-board diligence, board gender diversity, board size, ESG.

Abstract

AbstrakKinerja perusahaan merupakan peilaian mengenai ukuran keberhasilan suatu perusahaan serta gambaran menyeluruhmengenai pencapaian dan efisiensi dari serangkaian aktivitas atau kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dalammenjalankan operasinya. Dalam penelitian ini, kinerja perusahaan diukur menggunakan Return on Asset (ROA).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh independensi komite audit, ukuran komite audit, dan rapat komiteaudit terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan ukuran perusahaan dan leverage sebagai variabel kontrol. Data yangdigunakan adalah data sekunder dari perusahaan sub industri perkebunan dan tanaman pangan yang terdaftar di BursaEfek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2018 – 2023. Sampel sebanyak 13 perusahaan atau 78 observasi didapat denganmenggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi data panel. Hasil dari penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa independensi komite audit, ukuran komite audit, dan rapat komite audit berpengaruh secarasimultan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Sedangkan secara parsial independensi komite audit, ukuran komite audit, danrapat komite audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Abstract

Selaku negara agraris, sektor agrikultur memegang peran vital dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kinerja keuanganperusahaan agrikultur mencerminkan kemampuan mereka saat mengelola sumber dayanya. Penelitian bertujuan untukmenganalisis pengaruh intensitas aset biologis, leverage, likuiditas, dan ukuran perusahaan pada kinerja keuanganperusahaan agrikultur. Penelitian ini menggunakan quantitative method dengan metode data panel regression analysisdengan data berasal dari laporan keuangan perusahaan sektor agrikultur terdaftar dalam BEI tahun 2018-2023. Denganpurposive sampling technique, sampel yang terkumpulkan sebanyak 13 sampel. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwaintensitas aset biologis, leverage, likuiditas, dan ukuran perusahaan bersamaan mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan.Namun, secara parsial, hanya intensitas aset biologis yang memiliki pengaruh positif pada kinerja keuangan,sementara leverage, likuiditas, dan ukuran perusahaan tidak adanya pengaruh. Kata Kunci-kinerja keuangan perusahaan, intensitas aset biologis, leverage, likuiditas, ukuran perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan layanan kesehatan yang diberikan oleh Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) dan Asuransi Mandiri Inhealth serta mengukur dampaknya terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan di Perseroan Terbatas Pulau Mahoni. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami seberapa besar pengaruh kedua jenis layanan asuransi tersebut terhadap tingkat motivasi kerja para karyawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 150 karyawan PT. Pulau Mahoni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat perbedaan kualitas layanan antara BPJS Kesehatan dan Asuransi Mandiri Inhealth, keduanya tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Hal ini mungkin disebabkan oleh proses layanan yang kurang memadai dan ketidaknyamanan yang dirasakan oleh sebagian karyawan, khususnya terkait dengan layanan BPJS. Berdasarkan temuan ini, perusahaan disarankan untuk mengevaluasi ulang kebijakan layanan kesehatan yang diterapkan dan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang bisa lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja karyawan.
