Abstract

Background: Student anxiety is estimated as a cause of low students' academic achievement of colaborated clas from remote areas, border and island with Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. Objective: The purpose of this studi was to determine the effect of student participation in gymnastics earobik to decrease student anxiety. Method: The treatment such as student participation in aerobic Pre-experimental research, pre-posttest was conducted 39 respondents, taken from department of Dental Nursing Diploma. The treatment such as student participation in aerobics, held in July 2014 at the campus Department of Dental Nursing, Jalan Kyaimaja Yogyakarta. The research results were measured the decrease of anxiety, using the State Trait Anxiety Inventory questionnaire. Results were analyzed using a one sample T-test, 95% Confidence Intervals. Result: Research results obtained that there was significantly decreased anxiety after students do aerobics every morning for 1 month (p value = 0.000). Decreased anxiety occurs at 21.21%. Decrease anxiety in female students is higher than the decrease in anxiety male students. Abstract

Terbatasnya transportasi publik yang nyaman serta juga kecenderungan masyarakat menggunakan kendaraan secara individu telah menciptakan peluang pekerjaan baru, yakni ojek. Bagi pengemudi ojek, sepeda motor untuk melayani pelanggan merupakan tulang punggung kehidupan ekonomi mereka. Sehingga perawatan sepeda motor menjadi kebutuhan utama. Namun dengan penghasilan yang hanya 100 ribu rupiah per hari, maka biaya perawatan menjadi persoalan tersendiri. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam rangka membantu para pengemudi ojek dalam merawat sepeda motornya secara gratis. Bekerja sama dengan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Lembaga Bengkel Mahasiswa Mesin (LBMM), para dosen pengabdi dari Departemen Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknologi Industri dan Rekayasa Sistem, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, telah berhasil melakukan servis gratis untuk 75 sepeda motor pengemudi ojek di sekitar kampus. Seluruh pengemudi ojek peserta kegiatan ini menyatakan sangat puas dan berharap kegiatan servis gratis ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin, karena sangat membantu mereka dalam melakukan pekerjaannya sehari-hari.

Abstract

Swara Saronder is a work of musical composition inspired by observations of Javanese gamelan and the triple phenomenon of the dominance of pencon-shaped instruments which form tiered strata sequentially from largest to smallest. Each of these instruments has different functions and tasks but forms a unified whole. The existence of three instrumental elements that dominate Javanese gamelan is a source and basis for the creation of musical compositions. Swara Saronder is a musical work that originates from the drumming techniques of the gender and saron groups. Personal experience as a gamelan composer (musician) was the inspiration for this musical composition. Because the technique of playing blade group instruments is interesting to study and develop as a reference for creating a musical composition work. The purpose of creation is to try to express musical anxiety towards Javanese gamelan in the form of interpretations of musical compositions that are not always bound by the rules of conventional musical form. The creation method/process is carried out through several stages, namely observing the source object, processing ideas and the process of pouring out the results.
