Abstract

Background: More than 700 million women were married before turning 18 in all over the world. In 2016, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, had the highest number of child marriages which accounted for 1.395 cases. Considering the many negative factors of early pregnancy, possessing the ability to survive and overcome hardship is imperative for married female adolescents. This study aimed to examine the effects of parenting style on resilience toward health reproductive.Subjects and Method: This was a cross sectional study conducted in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A total of 79 married female adolescents were selected for this study. The dependent variable was resilience toward reproductive health. The independent variables were age, education, employment, information source, economic status, knowledge, paternal parenting style, and maternal parenting style. The data were collected using questionnaire and analyzed by a multiple logistic regression. Results: High knowledge (OR= 3.48; 95% CI= 0.11 to 10.55; p= 0.028) and democratic parenting style (OR= 5.11; 95% CI= 1.62 to 16.05; p= 0.005) increased the resilience toward reproductive health in married female adolescents, and they were statistically significant. Conclusion: High knowledge and democratic parenting style increases the resilience toward reproductive health in married female adolescents. Keywords: resilience, reproductive health parenting styleCorrespondence: Beby Yohana. Abstract

Baby massage is a series of massage actions performed on babies using certain techniques. Baby massage has several benefits, including: increasing the baby's body weight, increasing the baby's bond and family, increasing the baby's growth and development, increasing the baby's immune system. High bounding between parents and children stimulates optimal growth and development of children. The purpose of the study was to describe bounding attachment before baby massage. Describe bounding after baby massage. Describe the differences in bounding attachments before and after baby massage. This type of research is descriptive research with a cross sectional time approach. The population is parents who have babies under 6 months a total of 12 respondents. The study sample used a purposive sampling design. The sample size was 10 respondents. The research instrument used an infant massage checklist and a bounding questionnaire. The results of bounding research before baby massage all respondents have a sense of pride in the birth of a baby (100%), respondents take care of babies happily as much as 90%, respondents have feelings of liking for babies as much as 90%.  The result of bounding after baby massage is that all respondents have a level of attention to the baby (100%). All respondents had pride in the birth of a baby (100%). All respondents had feelings for babies (100%). All respondents had a baby's birth match with expectations (100%). The average bounding increase before and after baby massage was 2.1.Keywords : Baby Massage, Bounding Attachment

Abstract

The relationship between parents and children begins from the beginning of the womb, at the time of infancy (early postpartum period), and from the age of toddlers to even children before adulthood. The existence of good and continuous interaction between parents and babies can increase bounding attachment. This interaction can be done through massage by parents to the baby. The objection of the study was to describe the frequency distribution of attachment bounding between parents and babies before and after the massage, knowing the effect of infant massage on the bounding attachment of parents and babies. This type of research is comparative descriptive research, a time approach using a cross-sectional approach. The variables of the study were infant massage and bounding attachment between parents and babies. The study population is all infants with a general 0–6 months total of 12 infants. The data collection method was carried out through a survey using a questionnaire. Sample determination using purposive sampling. Univariate analysis uses frequency distribution and bivariate analysis uses paired T tests. The results of the study were the frequency distribution of the bounding attachment before massage. The mean value was 47, the lowest score was 45, and the highest score was 49. The frequency distribution on the bounding attachment after massage had a mean value of 49, with the lowest score of 46 and the highest score of 52. The value of the correlation coefficient (correlation) is 0.687 with a significant value of 0.028 (sig value < 0.05), so the result of the study is that there is an influence between baby massage and the increase of bounding attachment of parents and babies
