Abstract

The existence of the philosophical interpretation (tafsir falsafi) has sparked serious debates among scholars, who consider it too radical and potentially harmful to the community due to its freedom in utilizing reason. However, through this research, we explore that the diversity in interpreting the Quran is actually a result of human thought, especially in the realm of philosophy, as the quest for meaning in the Quran fundamentally involves philosophical thinking. The objective of this research is to refute views that label philosophical interpretation as a radical and dangerous approach merely because it is associated with the philosophy of that time, especially that which originated from historically non-Islamic Greek philosophy. The research methodology employed is a literature study (library research), involving the collection and screening of data from various sources to be presented systematically. With this argumentation, we aim to prove that philosophical interpretation significantly contributes to enriching the understanding of the Quran. The philosophy that dominates in this interpretation is not something deviant or perilous in interpreting the verses of the Quran but rather a reflection of philosophical thought applied to the object of justification, namely the Quran itself, and not the other way around. The diversity in philosophical approaches contributes significantly to the development of philosophical thought related to the Quran.

Abstract: 21st-century education faces increasingly complex and dynamic challenges, demanding skills beyond academic knowledge. The growth mindset, a concept introduced by Carol Dweck, describes the belief that a person's intelligence and abilities can develop through effort, the right strategies, and environmental support. This article presents a literature review on the role of a growth mindset in 21st-century education. The review results show that the growth mindset plays an important role in increasing student motivation and resilience and supporting active engagement and better academic achievement. In addition, the implementation of the growth mindset also has a positive impact on teacher competency development and entrepreneurship education. This article explores the benefits, challenges, and strategies for implementing a growth mindset to understand its role in creating an adaptive and inclusive learning environment. Abstract

Despite being more flexible than K13, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMKN 1 Dua Koto faces challenges, particularly in teacher readiness and student comprehension. This research utilizes the CIPP Evaluation Model to assess the impact of the Independent Curriculum on the enhancement of education quality in the school. The evaluation indicates a positive impact, but some areas require improvement, such as the use of teaching aids, teacher training, and operational curriculum. Suggestions to enhance the program include improving the use of teaching aids, optimizing operational curriculum, upgrading facilities and infrastructure, enhancing teachers' understanding of the P5 concept, developing relevant teaching materials, and improving students' critical thinking abilities. All of these are expected to help SMKN 1 Dua Koto overcome challenges and continue to enhance education quality.
