Abstract

In the physics calculator there is a Matlab program code which will be read as input and then executed to calculate physics problems computationally. Matlab has a program control structure as input, namely the statement IF-ELSE-END in the form of a conditional statement command with the ability to make different decisions depending on conditions and repeat operations without duplicating code so that commands can be skipped or executed. The research objective is that students can complete functions and create simple scripts using the statement IF-ELSE-END in physics problems. The method used in this research is developing Matlab program code in writing scripts using the statement IF-ELSE-END. Observations were made on the program code that had been created with each script on the radiobutton being converted into a simple script using the statement IF-ELSE-END. Based on the results of observations, students were able to run a physics calculator using the statement IF-ELSE-END on collision material with calculation results that were in accordance with manual calculations. So it can be concluded that using the statement IF-ELSE-END can be used to write simple scripts to problems solve physics.

Abstract

Sales person merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang paling dibutuhkan oleh banyak perusahaan. Perusahaan umumnya akan mempekerjakan beberapa Sales sekaligus yang menguasai keterampilan berkomunikasi, sebab keterampilan berkomunikasi menjadi salah satu kemampuan utama yang harus dimiliki seorang Sales untuk menjual dan menawarkan produk pada calon pelanggan. Namun, banyak Sales yang gagal saat berkomunikasi dan melayani pelanggan. Beberapa di antaranya adalah Sales tidak mendengarkan kebutuhan pelanggan, Sales tidak melakukan follow up kepada pelanggan, Sales terlalu agresif terhadap pelanggan dan ketidakjelasan Sales pada saat melakukan penawaran produk yang dijual. Oleh karena itu, Tim Abdimas bermitra dengan rumah siap kerja, bekerjasama mengadakan pelatihan mengenai strategi komunikasi efektif sebagai Sales bagi peserta kartu prakerja. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan abdimas untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta mengenai strategi komunikasi efektif dalam menawarkan produk. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan berupa sosialisasi dan praktek. Berdasarkan hasil Angket pelatihan diperoleh 80% peserta menunjukkan respon positif bertambah pengetahuannya dan keterampilanya dalam menjalankan aktivitas penjualan dan menghasilkan pendapatan perusahaan yang optimal serta efektif.

Abstract

Science process skills have a very important role in the process of forming knowledge. Get students used to learning through scientific work processes, as well as practicing detailed scientific skills and systematic work. The aim of this research is to improve students' science process skills through the application of Hands and Minds On Activity with a Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The method used is classroom action research. The aspect observed in this research is students' science process skills through description tests which are assessed in each cycle. Based on the research results, students' science process skills can be said to be successful, because the average student score increased from cycles I, II, and II where each cycle had a percentage of 68.0%, 73.9%, and 81.7 %. An increase in the value to 81,7% shows that the success indicators have been met. This is in accordance with the learning target which expects 80% of students to exceed the KKM limit at school.

Abstract

Community service activities have been carried out for PKK mothers in RT.008 RW.04, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, with the aim of utilizing vegetable waste and fruit peels into Eco Enzyme that can be used as multifunctional liquids, such as dishwashing soap and organic fertilizers. Activities include socialization and training on the importance of Eco Enzyme, how to make them, and their use. Organic waste that is often wasted has the potential to pollute the environment if it rots. In this training, participants are taught to process vegetable waste and become useful Eco Enzyme. The results of questionnaire respondents showed an increase in knowledge and skills from 68% to 93% as shown by participants who understood the material well and were enthusiastic about practicing it, because the materials are easy to obtain and the manufacturing process is simple.
