Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis service experience yang diberikan oleh pengelola homestay di Desa Wisata Cisaat bagi para tamu staycation yang menggunakan pelayanan homestay mereka. Ada 4 dimensi yang mengukur mengenai service experience atau pengalaman pelayanan yang didapatkan oleh konsumen atau wisatawan, yang terdiri atas Hedonik (Hedonics), Ketenangan Pikiran (Peace of Mind), Keterlibatan (Involvement), dan Pengakuan (Recognition) yang dikemukakan oleh Otto dan Brent Ritchie. Keempat dimensi ini perlu menjadi perhatian bagi para pengelola homestay untuk memastikan apakah mereka memahami pengalaman pelayanan yang seharusnya mereka berikan kepada para tamu atau wisatawan yang menggunakan pelayanan homestay mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 8 orang pemilik homestay di Kampung Cisaat, Desa Cisaat yang tersebar di 1 rukun warga dan 8 rukun tetangga. Teknik pengambilan data dan sumber data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara mendalam menggunakan pedoman wawancara, serta dokumentasi berupa foto dan rekaman suara dari responden secara langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para responden memahami pentingnya memberikan pengalaman pelayanan yang berkesan untuk tamu-tamu yang menginap di homestay mereka. Keseluruhan responden menyadari pentingnya memberikan pengalaman pelayanan yang berkesan bertujuan agar tamu mereka mau kembali dan menggunakan jasa yang mereka tawarkan. Untuk memenuhi pengalaman pelayanan yang berkesan ini diberikan pemilik homestay melalui penyediaan fasilitas yang layak digunakan serta kemampuan mereka dalam melayani para tamu yang menginap dimana mereka bisa memastikan tamu merasa aman dan nyaman. Memperhatikan service experience atau pengalaman pelayanan yang akan didapatkan tamu penting bagi para pengelola jasa seperti para pengelola homestay di Desa Wisata Cisaat. Dengan memperhatikan 4 dimensi service experience atau pengalaman pelayanan yaitu Hedonik (Hedonics), Ketenangan Pikiran (Peace of Mind), Keterlibatan (Involvement), dan Pengakuan (Recognition) para pengelola jasa ini dapat mengetahui aspek-aspek yang sekiranya bisa membantu mereka mewujudkan service experience atau pengalaman pelayanan yang berkesan untuk tamu atau konsumen yang menggunakan jasa mereka.

Abstract

Abstrak Orang tua berperan penting dalam menentukan asupan gizi pada anak prasekolah salah satunya dengan cara praktik pemberian makan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan praktik pemberian makan dengan status gizi anak prasekolah di PAUD Ar-Raudoh, Desa Cisarua, Kecamatan Tegalwaru, Kabupaten Purwakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang ibu dan anak prasekolah. Instrumen Compherensive Feeding Practice Questionere (CFPQ) dan status gizi menggunakan data antropometri. Analisis data menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan analisis korelasi menggunakan Spearman Rank serta Chi-Square. Sebaran jenis kelamin anak dalam penelitian adalah laki – laki (50%) dan perempuan (50%), mayoritas umur anak 6 tahun (51,7%), ibu dengan jumlah anak 2 (40%), urutan kelahiran bungsu (40%), pendapatan keluarga < Rp1.500.00 (58,3%), pendidikan ibu lulus SD/MI (55%), pekerjaan ibu yaitu ibu rumah tangga (90%), dan usia ibu mayoritas dewasa awal (44,2%). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik keluarga seperti jenis kelamin, jumlah anak, urutan kelahiran anak, pendidikan ibu, dan pekerjaan ibu. Terdapat hubungan antara variabel praktik pemberian makan dengan karakteristik pendapatan keluarga. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik keluarga seperti jumlah anak, urutan kelahiran anak, pendapatan keluarga, dan pendidikan ibu dengan status gizi anak prasekolah. Terdapat hubungan antara variabel status gizi anak prasekolah dengan karakteristik jenis kelamin dan pekerjaan ibu. Terdapat hubungan praktik pemberian makan dengan status gizi dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,298 dan nilai koefisien determinasi 0,085. Terdapat hubungan antara variabel praktik pemberian makan dengan karakteristik pendapatan keluarga. Terdapat hubungan antara variabel status gizi anak prasekolah dengan karakteristik jenis kelamin, pekerjaan ibu, dan status gizi. Kata Kunci: Status gizi, Praktik pemberian makan, Anak prasekolah Abstract Parents play an important role in determining nutritional intake in preschool children, one of which is by way of feeding practices. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between feeding practices and the nutritional status of preschool children in PAUD Ar-Raudoh, Cisarua Village, Tegalwaru District, Purwakarta Regency. Sample in this study were 60 mothers and preschool children. The Compherensive Feeding Practice Questioner (CFPQ) instrument and nutritional status used anthropometric data. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and correlation analysis used Spearman Rank and Chi-Square. The sex distribution of the children in the study were male (50%) and female (50%), the majority of the children were 6 years old (51.7%), mothers with 2 children (40%), youngest birth order (40%) , family income < IDR 1,500.00 (58.3%), mother's education graduated from SD/MI (55%), mother's occupation is housewife (90%), and the majority of mother's age is early adult (44.2%). There is no relationship between family characteristics such as gender, number of children, child birth order, mother's education, and mother's occupation. There is a relationship between the variables of feeding practices with the characteristics of family income. There is no relationship between family characteristics such as number of children, child birth order, family income, and mother's education with the nutritional status of preschool children. There is a relationship between the variables of the nutritional status of preschool children with the characteristics of the gender and occupation of the mother. There is a relationship between feeding practices and nutritional status with a correlation coefficient of 0.298 and a coefficient of determination of 0.085. There is a relationship between the variables of feeding practices with the characteristics of family income. There is a relationship between the nutritional status of preschool children with the characteristics of gender, mother's occupation, and nutritional status. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of parental verbal abuse on adolescents self-concept. The approach used in this study is quantitative associative with a survey method using questionnaire to collect the data. The population in this study was high school students of SMA Negeri 1 Leuwiliang Kabupaten Bogor, with a total sample of 103 respondents selected with the purposive sampling technique. This study uses tests of normality, linearity, and hypotheses as a pre-requisite test. Based on data result, it is known that majority sample are categorized as low level of parental verbal abuse (69,9%) and the adolescents self concept received by the majority sample are belong to middle category (53,4%). Data calculation which used IBM SPSS Statistics 25 shows that parental verbal abuse has a negative and significant effect on adolescents self concept (P-Value = 0.000 < 0.050. This study shows that the higher parental verbal abuse level, the lower adolescents self-concept, . The coefficient of determination obtained is 27,4%, which means that parental verbal abuse affect on adolescents self-concept by 27,4% and the other 72,6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the phenomenon of food waste and the implementation of food waste management at hotel Novotel Jakarta Cikini, Central Jakarta, as part of their efforts to reduce leftover food waste. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The respondents in this research consist of 5 individuals who are employees of hotel Novotel Jakarta Cikini from various departments directly involved in the food waste management implementation. The research was conducted in June 2023. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation.The research findings indicate that the food waste management implemented by hotel Novotel Jakarta CIkini is quite effective, resulting in a reduction of approximately 63 percent in the amount of food waste, from 123 kg per day to around 77.5 kg per day. The food waste management practices at hotel Novotel Jakarta Cikini align with several supporting theories, such as adjusting the size of food portions, processing leftover food materials, donating reprocessed food, and creating organic compost from food waste. Additionally, the study identifies some challenges faced by the hotel employees in educating guests and dealing with internal issues, which have impacted the implementation of food waste management. Furthermore, the research identifies the causes of food waste, ranging from leftover guest meals to unused food ingredients scheduled for processing, as well as the methods employed by hotel Novotel Jakarta Cikini to reduce the accumulation of food waste.

Abstract

Abstract Back to nature is a healthy lifestyle that is widely practiced among the public by reducing the consumption of materials that harm the body and replacing them with natural ingredients. The target of this community service is students of SD Negeri Pantai Mekar 03, Muara Gembong sub-district, Bekasi, West Java. The lack of knowledge of the residents of Pantai Mekar village about herbal plants is one of the reasons why there is still a lot of empty land such as in people's yards or in schoolyards that have not been utilized properly and effectively. The solution to these problems is to create teaching materials for learning about herbal plants for the library so the residents gain knowledge about herbal plants and can make products from herbal plants. The method of implementation is to provide material through lectures, discussions, and practice of making beverage products from herbal plants, namely herbal medicine. The entire series of implementation was followed by students and the results were that students could understand the various basic ingredients, products, and how to make drinks from herbal plants. Students also experienced an increase in learning outcomes and proved to be able to practice making beverage products from herbal plants. Learning products from herbal plants provided can be a source of knowledge for the mini library of Pantai Mekar village, especially at SD Negeri Pantai Mekar 03, as well as having an impact on maintaining family immunity in the Pantai Mekar village community. Abstrak Back to nature adalah gaya hidup sehat yang banyak dilakukan dikalangan masyarakat dengan mengurangi konsumsi bahan yang membahayakan tubuh dan menggantinya dengan bahan alami. Sasaran pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah siswa SD Negeri Pantai Mekar 03, kecamatan Muara Gembong, kabupaten Bekasi Jawa Barat. Kurangnya pengetahuan warga desa Pantai Mekar tentang tanaman herbal, menjadi salah satu penyebab masih banyaknya lahan kosong seperti di pekarangan rumah warga atau di halaman sekolah sehingga belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik dan efektif. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut salah satunya dengan membuat bahan ajar pembelajaran tanaman herbal untuk perpustakaan desa Pantai Mekar agar masyarakat mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang tanaman herbal dan dapat membuat produk dari tanaman herbal. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan materi kepada siswa SD Negeri Pantai Mekar 03 melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik pembuatan produk minuman dari tanaman herbal, yaitu jamu. Seluruh rangkaian pelaksanaan diikuti oleh siswa dan hasilnya siswa dapat memahami menganai macam-macam bahan dasar, produk, dan cara membuat minuman dari tanaman herbal. Siswa juga mengalami kenaikan nilai hasil belajar dan terbukti sudah dapat mempraktikkan pembuatan produk minuman dari tanaman herbal. Pembelajaran produk dari tanaman herbal yang diberikan dapat menjadi sumber pengetahuan bagi perpustakaan mini desa Pantai Mekar khususnya di SD Negeri Pantai Mekar 03, sekaligus berdampak untuk menjaga imunitas tubuh keluarga pada masyarakat desa Pantai Mekar.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang terus maju memiliki dampak besar dalam kehidupan, terutama di sektor pendidikan, di mana teknologi digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar melalui berbagai media pembelajaran. Dalam konteks pendidikan, seorang guru dapat menggunakan teknologi sebagai sarana yang beragam dan menarik dengan menciptakan materi pembelajaran berupa video animasi, sehingga proses belajar menjadi lebih beragam daripada hanya mengandalkan metode ceramah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media video animasi dengan menggunakan prettest dan posttest pada mata pelajaran f&b service SMKN 27 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang merupakan kepanjangan dari Analyze (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (pelaksanaan), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif menggunakan data kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, populasi terdiri dari 15 siswa kelas XI Perhotelan 1 SMKN 27 Jakarta yang menjalani uji coba kelompok kecil (small group), sedangkan sampel penelitiannya mencakup 3 siswa dengan kategori masing-masing: unggul, sedang, dan kurang pintar, yang melalui uji coba perorangan (one to one). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadinya peningkatan minat belajar siswa terhadap media video animasi berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Dengan demikian, video animasi sebagai media pembelajaran efektif dan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

Excessive intensity of smartphone use can disrupt eating behavior in adolescents. This study aims to analyze the relationship between smartphone addiction and problematic eating behavior. This research involved 230 junior high school students in Jakarta. The research design uses a cross-sectional study. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation and Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the Chi-Square test show that the Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) for the smartphone addiction category with a problematic eating behavior category is 0.000 (p<0.05). The correlation test result shows a relationship between the smartphone addiction category and the duration of smartphone use in the morning, afternoon and evening. The Chi-Square Test shows a relationship between the categories of problematic eating behavior and the duration of smartphone use in the morning and afternoon. The Independent Sample T-Test result shows a significant difference in the daily-life disturbance and positive anticipation dimensions between respondents who live with their complete parents (TOL) and those who do not live with their complete parents (TTOL). The result shows a significant positive relationship between smartphone addiction and problematic eating behavior (r=0.711; p=0.000). Adolescents need to raise awareness to use smartphones as needed. In addition, adolescents are advised to adopt healthy eating habits to optimize their growth.

Abstract

Psychosocial development that is not fully mature can impact the learning responsibility of school-aged children. This study aims to analyze the influence of psychosocial development on the learning responsibility of school-aged children. Data was collected using the cluster random sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 172 fifth and sixth-grade students from one school in Bekasi city and two schools in Bekasi Regency. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. The instrument used to measure psychosocial development consisted of 19 items based on the dimensions of industry and inferiority. The instrument used to assess learning responsibility consisted of 22 items based on the dimensions of learning responsibility during the course and learning responsibility outside the course. The collected data was processed and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically simple linear regression tests. The results of the study showed that psychosocial development positively influences learning responsibility. The determination coefficient obtained was 0.496%, meaning that psychosocial development affects learning responsibility by 49.6%, while the remaining 50.1% is influenced by other factors. Therefore, it is essential for involved parties to be aware of children's psychosocial development to enhance their learning responsibility.

Abstract

Production of gourami as consumption fish is rather lengthy, as it attains commercial size in 1—2 years, longer than other commercial fish. Therefore, fish production is hampered by higher fodder costs. It is a normal practice in gourami rearing, that farmers supplement commercial fodder with naturally available fodder, especially from material such as taro leaves. However, some materials may contain less nutrients, compared to others. It is why we propose the use of Lemna perpusilla, a widely distributed water aroid as gourami fodder supplement. We measured the growth of gourami fries, which are length (cm) and weight (g) and found that fishes with L. perpussila pellet attain higher length and weight compared to those using commercial pellet. This research may be beneficial for freshwater weed management as well as fish production with low capital, i.e. village production.
