Abstract

This paper will explain the relation of eating infidels and pious people in Islam. This research is a qualitative research using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic approach. The data used in this paper is sourced from books, journals, and also other literature that is relevant to the theme of the writing.

Abstract

Abstrak-Pendidikan adalah sebuah proses manusia baik individu atau masyarakat untuk menuju kehidupan yang ideal dan lebih baik. Pendidikan yang akan mengubah menuju ke arah yang lebih baik adalah pendidikan yang kualitasnya baik pula. Tetapi melihat realitas sekarang, kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia masih rendah apalagi dalam hal pemerataan pendidikan,di antaranya: fasilitas, akses, dan tenaga pengajar yang akan berimplikasi pada proses belajar dan hasil belajar, keadaan tersebut salah satunya gambaran pendidikan yang ada di daerah terpencil. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini akan berfokus pada masalah pemerataan pendidikan di daerah terpencil dengan cara mengoptimalkan komunitas sobat mengajar sebagai gerakan sosial pendidikan. Komunitas ini bergerak di daerah-daerah terpencil khususnya di Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten, kajian awal mencari data keadaan pendidikan di daerah tersebut dengan cara membaca literature dan wawancara langsung kepada relawan sobat mengajar kemudian hasilnya dideskripsikan, dengan demikian penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk mengatasi tidak meratanya pendidikan di Indonesia ada beberapa langkah yang harus dilakukan: pertama, mengoptimalkan gerakan sosial pendidikan. Kedua, melakukan program yang mengedukasi masyarakat. Ketiga, harus melibatkan masyarakat dalam semua program.Abstract-Education is a human process, either an individual or a society towards an ideal and better life. Education that will change for the better is education that is of good quality too. But look at the current reality, the quality of education in Indonesia is still low especially in terms of equitable education for example lack of facilities, access, and teaching staff that will have implications for the learning process and learning outcomes, they are one picture of the conditions that exist in remote areas. Therefore, this research will focus on the problem of equitable education in remote areas by optimizing the community of sobat mengajar as a social education movement. This community is moving in remote areas especially in lebak regency, the province of banten, early studies looking into educational conditions in the region, the initial study looked for data on the state of education in the area by reading literature and direct interviews with volunteers of sobat mengajar then the results were described, thus this study using a descriptive qualitative methods. To overcome the unequal education in Indonesia, several steps must be taken: the first, optimize the social education movement. The secondis tocarry out programs that educate the public. The third is must involve the society in all programs.Keywords- Sobat mengajar, Educational social movements, Building education, Disadvantaged areas.

Abstract

Extremism is a common problem that needs to be resolved by various parties. One of the causes of extremism is the paradigm of primordialism and ethnocentrism. This paradigm holds that individuals or groups themselves are the best and tend to demean other groups. Socio-religious changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic have exacerbated the situation of a pluralistic Indonesian society. This has even permeated through the cyberspace. This article reflects on the interpretation of the verses calling for a response to the post-Covid-19 condition of Muslim urban communities. This article aims at maintaining the harmony of Indonesian society, especially urban Muslims, while at the same time reinforcing a moderate attitude after the outbreak. This study uses a qualitative research method with a content analysis approach. This article concludes that the reflection of these da'wah verses leads to the importance of digital da'wah as a means of building (post-pandemic) moderate urban Muslim communities by upholding the goals of Islam, namely rahmatan li al-‘alamin, and collective benefit. There are six ways to build a moderate, digital-based Muslim urban community: First, through media literacy and digital literacy; second, a preacher must have the courage to expose his potential; third, grounding the content of moderation on social media; fourth, forming a group of moderate-minded digital media account managers; fifth, strengthening collaboration with influencers (people who are influential in social media); sixth, courteous communication.

Abstract

The story of the Prophet Yusuf (AS) is one of the stories narrated by the Qur'an, even specified in a full Surah, namely Surah Yusuf. In it, there is an event that is evidence of Yusuf's greatness related to dream interpretation which is proven by his reception with his family in Egypt. Surah Yusuf verses 99 and 100 are two verses that describe the story. Understanding these two verses with Martin Heidegger's hermeneutics basically gives a new face regarding the secret of the reception, as well as understanding this phenomenon through Heidegger's concept of phenomenology. With qualitative data and analyzed using Heidegger's hermeneutics, this paper answers the question, how does Heidegger's hermeneutics read the Surah Yusuf verses 99 and 100. As a result, the expression of the reception between the prophet Yusuf and his family was natural and certain; and the terms Abawaihi, Al-'arsy, and Sajada are representations of the sacredness of the reception.

Abstract

This paper examines how the influence of digital space on the development of contemporary interpretation gives rise to mediatisation and democratization of interpretation. This paper is qualitative research using Teun A. van Dijk’s theory of critical discourse analysis to reveal the discourse carried by online interpreters, a visual ethnographic approach to the four platforms, and historical analysis to see the origins of the democratization of online interpretation. This article finds that the development of digital interpretation is highly correlated with media and digital platform structures. The periodization of digital-era interpretation in Indonesia began in 2012 on the YouTube channel, a year after the Facebook platform became a medium of interpretation. In 2016, followed by websites, and in 2017, on Instagram. Tafsir of digital in Indonesia has a two-way openness and affects the practice of tafsir in general; namely, the loss of an integral part of tafsir and the discourse of Qur’anic Tafsir is increasingly globalized. Three discourses are presented in digital interpretation in Indonesia: thematization in the interpretation of the Qur’an, the internal and external capacity of mufasir, and the dominance of ideology and media.

Abstract

The global ecological crisis demonstrates that contemporary ethical frameworks have been insufficient in mitigating the accelerating rate of environmental degradation. Furthermore, the concept of emanation within Islamic philosophy has not yet been employed as a normative foundation for ecological restoration. This study seeks to examine the potential of the emanation concept in Islamic philosophy as a legitimate ethical framework for environmental conservation. The research adopts a qualitative methodology, utilizing a literature-based approach. The findings indicate that emanation should not be interpreted as a static metaphysical doctrine nor directly employed as a foundation for policy. Instead, it operates as an ontological framework that informs epistemic processes and ethical principles related to the relational nature of existence. This study advances three primary propositions. First, emanation offers an epistemic model that conceptualizes nature as a network of hierarchical interdependencies, thereby suggesting that ecological actions must align with this structure. Second, this epistemic framework engenders an ethical imperative whereby maintaining harmony and sustainability is regarded as a normative obligation. Third, policy instruments—such as tawḥīd-based ecological education, circular economy models, and waste-bank programs—should be understood as practical manifestations of the normative framework derived from emanation, rather than as direct extrapolations of metaphysical doctrine. This study confirms that the concept of emanation provides a pertinent theoretical basis for developing environmental ethics and restoration policies in the framework of contemporary Islamic thought.Abstrak: Krisis ekologi global menunjukkan bahwa kerangka etis modern belum mampu meredam laju kerusakan lingkungan, sementara kajian filsafat Islam khususnya konsep emanasi belum dimanfaatkan sebagai dasar normatif pemulihan ekologis. Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi konsep emanasi dalam filsafat Islam sebagai kerangka etis yang sahih bagi konservasi lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emanasi tidak dapat dipahami sebagai doktrin metafisik statis atau dijadikan dasar kebijakan secara langsung, melainkan sebagai struktur ontologis yang membentuk mekanisme epistemik dan prinsip etis mengenai relasionalitas wujud. Temuan penelitian merumuskan tiga proposisi utama. Pertama, emanasi menyediakan model epistemik yang memposisikan alam sebagai jaringan keberbergantungan hierarkis, sehingga tindakan ekologis harus selaras dengan keteraturan tersebut. Kedua, mekanisme epistemik itu menghasilkan prinsip etis bahwa menjaga harmoni dan keberlanjutan merupakan kewajiban normatif. Ketiga, instrumen kebijakan, seperti pendidikan ekologis berbasis tauhid, ekonomi sirkular, dan bank sampah hanya sah dipandang sebagai ekspresi praksis dari kerangka normatif emanasi, bukan sebagai derivasi langsung dari metafisika. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa konsep emanasi menawarkan landasan konseptual yang relevan bagi perumusan etika dan kebijakan pemulihan lingkungan dalam konteks pemikiran Islam kontemporer.
