Abstract

Islamic education in a plural society should be applied to educational institutions in Indonesia, the main requirement is to teach its value thoroughly without disturbing the others faith.  A teacher, in interacting with other religious people is not only required to open up and respect them but he must commit to their religions.  In the Koran, many records about the contact between Muslims with pre-existing celestial religions. Since the exsisting of Islam, it has been in the midst of other cultures and religions.  The reality of pluralism is natural, differences in backgrounds and attitudes of people towards pluralism cannot be denied.  By Islamic Education, it is expected to be able to provide enlightenment and foundation for the phenomenon of diversity and relations between nations, religion, culture, and so on.

Abstract

This study discusses the history of the growth and development of Islamic boarding schools in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi, from the time of the Islamic kingdom/sultanate until the post-reformation era. This research is descriptive analytic, namely the data obtained in the form of opinions, information and behavior in a qualitative form which has a broader meaning by examining and researching focused on written sources only and interviewing religious figures related to the research theme. The results showed that Al-Mujahidin mosque which was founded in 1639 AD by Qadi (Judge) Fakih Amrullah, was the epicenter of the embryonic growth and development of early Islamic boarding school in Bone which later gave birth to several Islamic boarding schools with salafiyah/traditional and khalafiyah/modern patterns both formally and non-formally.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the value of alempureng (honesty)contained in Lontara Latoa Tana Bone and its relevance in thecontext of Islamic education. This research uses a qualitativeapproach with descriptive analysis to identify and understand howthe value of honesty is internalized in Bugis character education. Thefindings show that Lontara Latoa functions not only as a culturaltext, but also as a source of educational values that teach theimportance of honesty in social interaction and national life. Thevalue of alempureng in it acts as a moral foundation that supportsthe formation of good character, in line with the teachings of theQur'an and Hadith. This research recommends the integration ofvalues of honesty into the educational curriculum in order to developindividuals with integrity and high morals. Thus, this researchcontributes to the development of local and religious values-basedcharacter education, as well as strengthening the understanding ofthe importance of honesty in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

"Integration of Management Values (Ajennangeng) in the Lontara Latoa Tana Bone Manuscript: A Management Theory Approach" aims to explore how the management values contained in the Lontara Latoa Tana Bone Manuscript can be integrated into modern management practices. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis to understand the meaning and relevance of Ajennangeng's values in the current management context. The results of the study show that the values such as ethics, social responsibility, and collaboration contained in the Lontara Manuscript can serve as a guideline in more transparent and accountable managerial decision-making. In addition, this study also found that the integration of local values can increase stakeholder trust and strengthen people's cultural identity. Thus, this study recommends that a multidisciplinary approach that combines aspects of management, sociology, and anthropology can be adopted to better understand how management values (Ajennangeng) in the lontara Latoa Tana Bone manuscript can be integrated in a broader context.
