Abstract

The agricultural sector is holding a pivotal position to national income but however, the importance of the agricultural sector is not supported by the regeneration of agriculture workers. The number of agricultural workers continuously decreasing during a time, in order to understand these phenomena there is a number of factors that have led to a decline in youth participation in the agriculture sector, yet there is only limited research that is trying to determine the relationship between socialization agent and working preference. This study has several objectives, among others: (1) Identifying youth interactions with peer-group in the agricultural sector. (2) Identifying youth attitudes towards agriculture work (3) Analyzing the correlation between interactions with friends in the agricultural sector with youth attitudes towards agriculture work. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive - correlational approach and was taken place in Ciasmara Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency from March 2019 until Juli 2019. A total of 129 youth were selected as research respondents in this study. This study found that parents and peers have important positions in making youth interested in working in the agricultural sector. The two primary socialization agents were able to influence youth with different approaches. Parents through work-involvement as family labor meanwhile, the peer-groups through doing activities together in farmland.

Abstract

In the Priangan area live and develop several types of dances. One of the diversities of dance types is one of them is the type of folk dance. Folk dance is a dance that has undergone development since primitive times, usually still very simple and attaches importance to the norms of beauty in standard form. West Java folk art with each other different forms, functions, and values. One of the interesting folk dances to research is bangreng art that lived and developed for decades in the Sumedang area. This research is intended as an effort to find out about the extent of Jaipongan's influence on Bangreng art. Based on many allegations that dance in Bangreng art is in the form of improvised movements, whereas Bangreng art has a specific pattern of motion and song. To get to know the art of Bangreng as a whole, research is needed to be revealed that Bangreng art is not the same as Jaipongan both dance, accompaniment, and the property used. To what extent Jaipongan's influence on the purity of Bangreng art needs to be expressed so that a picture of the changes concerning previous values is obtained.

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the important sectors that contribute to national income. However, agricultural development currently has a tendency to increase productivity so that it impacts on the agricultural system which tends to make agriculture is more just an activity that produces agricultural "commodities" Mainstreaming agriculture into "commodity agriculture" has an impact on the destruction of cultural infrastructure supporting agriculture. This study aims to: Identify "Goah" in Ciasmara Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This study uses a Rapid-Ethnography approach, located in the village of Ciasmara, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency from March 2019 - August 2019. This research found that in Ciasmara village there is still a "goah", but its form is no longer limited to a special space where to place rice but the "Goah" has transformed into another form such as a bucket or a special drum. The transformation form of the "Goah" is a result of the limitations of domestic space and the shift in the value of agricultural sacredity in the village.

Abstract

ABSTRAK             Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah apakah teks novel dapat dijadikan sumber inspirasi penciptaan seni tari. Berkaitan dengan masalah tersebut maka novel yang dijadikan materi penelitian adalah novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk (Sebuah Catatan untuk Emak). Novel ini merupakan buku pertama dari trilogi Ahmad Tohari, yaitu Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, Lintang Kemuskus Dini Hari, dan Jantera Bianglala. Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk menceritakan tentang kehidupan seorang ronggeng atau penari.            Teks Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk dalam penelitian ini dikaji dengan menggunakan pendekatan intrinsik secara khsusu yang dipergunakan adalah teori fiksi dari Robert Stanton. Teori ini fokus pada tiga hal, yaitu karakter, alur, dan latar belakang. Karakter dalam hal ini antara lain adalah bagaimana deskripsi tokoh utama dalam kegiatan sehari-hari berkaitan dengan kehidupannya. Srinthil adalah seorang penari, oleh karena itu deskripsi kegiatan Srinthil tersebut dipaparkan secara jelas dalam teks novel tersebut.            Dari hasil kajian dapat dilihat bahwa gerakan dalam tarian yang ditarikan oleh Srinthil ternyata berkaitan erat dengan beberapa konsep penciptaan seni tari, yaitu ada rangsang visual, rangsang audio, dan rangsang ide. Berkaitan dengan struktur, terdapat pembukaan, isi tarian, dan penutup. Teks sebuah novel dapat dikaji dan menjadi inspirasi dalam penciptaan seni tari. Kata kunci: kajian tari, penciptaan tari, Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk

Abstract

However, agricultural development currently has a tendency to increase productivity it impacts on the agricultural system which tends to make agriculture as "commodities" and reduces the position of agriculture as an spiritual activity. Mainstreaming agriculture into "commodity" has an impact on the lost of cultural infrastructure that is supporting agriculture. This study aims to (1) see the existence of “Sedakah Bumi” practices in Ciasmara Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency (2) Transformation practices of “Sedekah Bumi” in Ciasmara village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This study uses a Rapid-Ethnography approach or fast ethnography, located in the village of Ciasmara, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency from March 2019 - August 2019. This research found that in Ciasmara village there is still the practice of “Sedekah Bumi”, but the form of the celebration is not in the form of a colossal celebration but the celebration in the form of private in the family. This form of transformation of the “Sedekah Bumi” emerged as a response from the respect of each component of society so as not to violate each other's main norms adopted by each group of people.

Abstract

The two stay two stray learning model was chosen by researchers because this model provides more time for students to discuss, so it is hoped that this model can help students in studying inspirational story texts. This research is experimental research. The population in this study were all class IX students at NU Darul Ma'arif Kaplongan Middle School, Indramayu Regency, totaling 211 students. The samples in this study were class IX B and class IX E. Learning test data studied inspirational story texts collected in the form of initial tests and final tests in the experimental class and control class. The research results obtained are as follows. First, the research test results can be seen in the Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, then it is known that the t value is 6.328 > t table 2.004. Based on the above, H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted, which means there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students between the experimental class and the control class, in other words the application of the two stay two stray learning model in the experimental class and the direct learning model in the control class produce different learning outcomes. Second, based on the results of observations of learning activities using the two stay two stray model, it brings significant changes to learning activities in the classroom.
