Abstract

The availability of document in an agency, both government and private, is important, because document contain information that can support all forms of activity in the agency. The availability of document at special higher education institutions of the faculty of engineering does not escape the role of lecturer, as people who play a role in preparing or preparing the necessary document for certain task. However, in its implementation, lecturer are sometimes often late in providing the necessary document, so that this can hinder ongoing activity. Therefore, in this study, the author created an information system to be able to monitor lecturers in providing documents. Users of this system are system administrators, deans, heads of study programs and lecturers. Based on the test results, the lecturer monitoring information system in providing documents can carry out assignment activities for lecturers, collection of assignment documents by lecturers and monitoring processes during the lecturer concerned in the assignment. With the lecturer monitoring application in providing document, the engineering faculty can monitor lecturer who have or have not collected document. The system also provides convenience for lecturer in monitoring the status of document that have been collected, whether they have been followed up or not by the faculty.

Abstract

The creation of class schedules requires a high level of precision and focus to generate the best possible timetable. A schedule with the best solution can provide comfort for both faculty and students, thus enhancing the quality of early meetings during classes. However, in the engineering faculty of Muhammadiyah University Cirebon, classes often do not start simultaneously with other faculties due to the manual scheduling process. Addressing this issue, a system is needed to automate the creation of class schedules. By implementing the Constraint Satisfaction Problems method to impose constraints before evaluating the fitness values in the Genetic Algorithm, it can assist in searching for the best solutions in accordance with the scheduling requirements of each program in the Engineering faculty. The results of black box testing on the system, item code 06, demonstrate that the system can produce schedules that comply with the requirements of each program in the faculty.

Abstract

Background. This research discusses the digitization of the Prince Cakrabuana Museum through the development of a website-based cultural asset management information system. The background of this research is that the accessibility and efficiency of museum information management remain limited in conventional ways, which affects the dissemination of information and public museum promotion. Aims. This research aims to design and implement a website-based information system that supports the processes of cultural asset inventory, collection documentation, and digital museum information delivery. Methods. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive case study, conducted at the Cirebon Regency Culture and Tourism Office. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation during Field Work Practice (PKL) activities. Result. The results of the study show that the developed system can manage cultural asset data more structurally, increase public access to information, and support the digital promotion of the Prince of Cakrabuana Museum. Conclusion. The conclusion of this study shows that the application of a website-based information system can improve the efficiency of museum asset management and public interest in the preservation of cultural heritage.
