Abstract

Komunikasi dalam bentuk dialog dalam proses pembelajaran sangat penting diantara pendidik dan peserta didik maupun diantara peserta didik. Pada masa pandemi hingga saat ini pemerintah membuat kebijakan yang mengijinkan pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dilaksanakan secara online (daring). Salah satu proses pembelajaran yang laksanakan pendidik yaitu menggunakan pembelajaran virtual synchronous berbasis video conference. Proses pembelajaran virtual synchronous berbasis video conference banyak digunakan untuk menggantikan tatap muka langsung di dalam kelas yang disebut dengan pembelajaran tatap muka (PTM). Hal ini menjadi menarik untuk dibahas setelah pemerintah memperbolehkan kembali setiap satuan pendidikan untuk melaksanakan PTM mengingat penyebaran Covid-19 telah melandai. Mengingat proses pembelajaran mulai dilaksanakan kembali secara PTM, apakah pembelajaran virtual synchronous berbasis video conference masih relevan digunakan ditinjau berdasarkan kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Pembelajaran virtual synchronous berbasis video conference masih sangat relevan digunakan untuk menggantikan kondisi yang tidak memungkinkan pendidik dan peserta didik untuk melaksanakan PTM sehingga proses pembelajaran masih dapat berjalan. Tetapi proses pembelajaran virtual synchronous berbasis video conference juga tidak dapat dilaksanakan diseluruh pertemuan karena dibutuhkan kemampuan pendidik dalam menyusun, menyajikan, dan strategi mengajar secara virtual. Selain itu interaksi sosial secara langsung juga dibutuhkan diantara pendidik dengan peserta didik dan diantara peserta didik sebagai individu.

Abstract

Education does not only focus on developing cognitive aspects, but also needs to be directed at improving affective aspects. Collaboration as a form of affective aspect of students needs to continue to be developed so that it will be able to produce people who have an understanding of the importance of working together and the other impacts it has. However, there is still a reluctance among students to complete assignments together, and even tend to do it independently, even though it is a group assignment. The importance of cooperation for students makes teachers gives pressure for emphasis on the cooperation aspect in classroom learning by implementing learning methods that lead to the development of cooperation skills, including by implementing the Number Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative model. Analysis of research data shows that the application of the NHT model in learning can increase student collaboration. This can be seen from the increase in the total average score from cycle I of 74, increasing to 82.5 in cycle II and being in the Very Good category.

Abstract

Digital transformation is carried out to improve the quality of education and equitable access to education. On the other hand, the character of generation Z and the development of technology are very fast becoming challenges in education. Video-assisted learning in schools is part of digital transformation in education that can motivate students to understand concepts. Based on preliminary observations, SMP Negeri 2 Kahayan Hilir, Pulang Pisau district carried out video-assisted Hindu religious education learning amid limited access to infrastructure and access to technology. The conditions in this school are interesting to explore further to understand the implementation of video-assisted Hindu religious education learning and understand what are the obstacles and efforts made in learning Hindu religious education. This study will be analyzed with cybernetic learning theory. The research method used is a qualitative method to understand the meaning and condition of natural objects in the field. Qualitative data is sourced from observations, interviews, and document studies. The data is then reduced, presented and analyzed qualitatively to understand, explain, interpret, and look for relationships among the data obtained, then draw conclusions and verify. The results showed that video-assisted learning is easier for students to understand according to their respective learning styles. In video-assisted learning, students focus more on the lesson. This result is in accordance with cybernetic learning theory, namely the attention given by students to the lesson will be easier to remember with different learning styles
