Abstract

The purpose of writing this work is to determine the importance of sustainable tourism in maintaining environmental balance. This research uses literature review methods and interviews with stakeholders to explore the role of sustainable tourism in maintaining environmental balance. Data is analyzed qualitatively with a focus on the contribution of sustainable tourism, presented through narratives, tables and graphs to provide a holistic understanding. The results of this work are that sustainable tourism provides economic and social benefits, but integration with the environment is important to avoid negative impacts. Key factors such as Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities and Ancillary (4A) play a vital role in the development of tourism destinations. Although revitalization of tourist attractions improves local economies, transformation to sustainable tourism requires collaboration and environmental conservation. The contribution of the private sector is crucial, in line with the government's vision of making tourism a regional characteristic. In Indonesia, tourism is considered a catalyst for economic growth and community prosperity, with a focus on comprehensive policies and compliance with regulations. The Sustainable Tourism Development Concept emphasizes the sustainability of natural resource management and the role of the private sector, with ongoing efforts for strong tourism destinations. Environmental sustainability is the main focus, emphasized by the government's role in achieving sustainable tourism goals that pay attention to ecological and social aspects.

Abstract

This article provides an overview of the soft skill development program for students about digital literacy organized by the Diploma 3 Hospitality Study Program at Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis Internasional on April 22 2022. The webinar carried out online via Zoom and aimed to provide knowledge in utilizing and using social media properly and wisely. This training program was attended by 148 Diploma 3 students. Several topics were conveyed by the speakers about digital literacy for millennials, namely the importance of digital literacy for millennials, especially students, the pros and cons and how to prevent the bad effect for Digital Literacy in millennials. The results of this activity were the students have more insight about digital literacy, be careful in voicing ideas or opinions before sharing them on social media, choose the right information, especially in finding learning resources and can directly interact with the speaker

Abstract

The development of digital media has opened new opportunities for destination promotion through video-based content. Serangan Tourism Village, with its maritime culture, marine tourism potential, and turtle conservation, still faces challenges in increasing its digital exposure, particularly on Instagram. Through a community service program, promotional videos were designed and produced to showcase the natural beauty, marine tourism activities, and local culture of Serangan. The videos were professionally packaged with cinematography, informative narration, and supporting music, then published mainly on Instagram. This activity aims to enhance the brand awareness of Serangan Tourism Village, expand promotional reach through collaboration with influencers and tourism communities, and encourage tourist visits. The expected outcomes are not only to strengthen the village’s image in the digital space but also to create a positive economic impact for the local community and reinforce Serangan’s position as one of Bali’s leading tourism destinations.

Abstract

In the present era should be an attraction of tourism can be reached and friendly to all people of both senior tourist and junior tourists. Kumbasari Park is one of the tourist attractions in the city that has been styled and constructed by the Government of Denpasar to become a new tourist attraction. However, the Kumbasari Park has not been fully accessible to all tourists. The purpose of this research is to identify, analyze eligibility and find the perception of travellers to facilities and infrastructure of the Kumbasari Park as a tourist attraction. This research includes exploratory research with data collection techniques i.e. observation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are done in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive. From the results of the study can be concluded that, as a whole Taman kumbasari already worth visiting by all the tourists, there are some categories especially accessibility and amenities that are not yet fully friendly to tourists. The development and reordering of facilities and infrastructure should be done in Kumbasari Park to provide comfort and security to all travelers.
