Abstract

This research aims to apply factor analysis to possum data with the aim of simplifying many independent variables into fewer factors. The factor analysis steps begin by grouping the variables to be analyzed and compiling a correlation matrix using the Bartlett test and the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test. From the test results, it was found that the variables had sufficient correlation to proceed to factor analysis. After that, factor extraction was carried out using three criteria, namely eigenvalues, diversity percentage, and scree plot, which concluded that the number of factors formed was two. Next, factor rotation was carried out using the varimax method to simplify interpretation. The results show that certain variables have high loadings on certain factors, making it easier to identify patterns. In conclusion, factor analysis succeeded in simplifying the relationship between variables into two factors that can be interpreted more easily.

Abstract

Buleleng has one of the Payas Deeng called Payas Roko Deeng Buleleng precisely in Liligundi Village,Sukasada District. Payas Roko Deeng Buleleng was originally used during the cremation ceremony or palebon by thepuri community precisely during the palebon of I Gusti Putu Gria. This Payas is used as a symbol of final respect fortheir ancestors and those who perform the deeng are relatives or siblings who have died. They must or are required topresent a pair of Deeng, male and female to help guide the deceased's spirit to heaven. Payas Roko Deeng Buleleng iscurrently being studied with the help of a Partner, namely Uje Mua Bali. Uje Mua Bali is located in Buleleng, using theoffline learning method or direct meetings to learn how to install the head shape and clothing of Payas Roko DeengBuleleng. It is hoped that with this Thesis, it can provide broad information about Payas Roko Deeng Buleleng. PayasRoko Deeng has a payasan form that uses a roll of roko roko on the head, uses songket and men use 2-meter longkancut. This has the meaning that roko-roko is used as a symbol of akasa or upper space and kancut as a symbol ofpertiwi (lower space) or land. The unification of these two elements will help the deceased spirit to harmonize the upperand lower realms. A pair of Deeng is also used as a symbol of purusa and pradana or the difference between men andwomen. Payas Roko Deeng Buleleng is also seen based on the current social strata of society, the economy of societycan be seen through the Payas Deeng that is offered.Keywords: Cremation, Payas Roko, Buleleng Deeng

Abstract

Higher education in Indonesia aims to produce quality graduates through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program, but the implementation of this program still faces a number of challenges, especially in the lack of dance literacy, especially in North Sulawesi. Abstract

Penguasaan bahasa Inggris di bidang Pemasaran sangat penting di dunia ekonomi global. Sebagai pemeran dominan di ekonomi dan pemasaran regional dan global, baik sebagai produsen maupun konsumen barang dan jasa, Indonesia harus mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia dengan pendidikan bahasa Inggris untuk kebutuhan khusus (ESP), khususnya di bidang pemasaran. Namun demikian, analisis kebutuhan bagi mahasiswa ESP di bidang pemasaran di Indonesia masih sangat langka. Untuk menginvestigasi tingkat kebutuhan bahasa Inggris bagi mahasiswa Pemasaran di sebuah Politeknik di Indonesia, penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif. Analisis dari data yang dikumpulkan melalui survei kuesioner dengan 38 mahasiswa Pemasaran dan diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) dengan 5 perwakilan mahasiswa mengindikasikan bahwa para mahasiswa membutuhkan lebih banyak aktivitas dan materi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang berhubungan dengan jurusannya, terutama yang berhubungan dengan tata bahasa Inggris, kemampuan berbicara, dan kosa kata. Mayoritas mahasiswa memilih bahwa bahasa Inggris penting untuk kehidupan sehari-hari, pelajaran di kelas, dan pekerjaan di masa depan. Kemampuan bahasa Inggris yang tersulit menurut siswa adalah kemampuan tata bahasa Inggris, diikuti kemampuan berbicara dan kosakata. Terlebih lagi, para mahasiswa membutuhkan lebih banyak latihan tentang bagaimana memperkenalkan diri dalam bahasa Inggris dan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca deskripsi produk dalam bahasa Inggris. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman bagi para dosen dan mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan pengalaman belajar mengajar yang lebih baik di pelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk Pemasaran. ___________________________________________________________________________________ English language mastery in the field of marketing is significant in globalized world economy. As a dominant player in the regional and global economy and marketing both as producers and consumers of goods and services, Indonesia should prepare its human capitals via quality ESP education particularly in marketing. However, needs analysis for ESP students of marketing in Indonesian context is still rare. In order to investigate the needs of marketing students from a university in Indonesia, this study adopted a qualitative method approach. The analysis of the data collected via a questionnaire survey with 38 marketing students and a Focus Group Discussion with 5 students representatives indicates that students require more activities and materials related to their major, especially related to grammar, speaking, and vocabulary skills. The majority of the students think that English is important for them in daily life, classroom context, and their future employment. The most difficult English skills according to the students were grammar skill, followed by speaking skill and vocabulary skill. Moreover, students need more practice on self-introduction and reading product description. Moreover, students need more practice on self-introduction and reading product description. The results of this study may serve as a guideline for the lecturers and students to develop better teaching learning experiences in English for Marketing.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat memahami keberadaan Tari Gandrung di Desa Cempaga, Kecamatan Banjar, Buleleng. Fakta dilapangan menunjukan bahwa tulisan atau penulisan yang mengkaji tarian ini belum banyak ditemukan, padahal tari ini disajikan secara berkesinambungan dalam konteks upacara oleh masyarakat setempat. Adapun masalah yang yang dikaji adalah bagaimana bentuk dan fungsi Tari Gandrung di Desa Cempaga. Pedengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori estetika dan teori fungsional yang digabungkan dengan konsep fungsional dari Soedarsono. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat Desa Cempaga, Kecamatan Banjar, Buleleng menyajikan Tari Gandrung dalam bentuk tari lepas (tanpa lakon). Hal itu dapat dilihat dari proses penyajiannya, tempat pementasan, tata rias, tata busana, properti, musik pengiring, ragam gerak, struktur tari, dan pola lantai. Hingga kini masyarakat setempat tetap melestarikan tarian tersebut karena tari itu berfungsi sebagai penolak bala, ungkapan rasa syukur warga karena telah memasuki masa panen, ritual, ungkapan pribadi yang sifatnya hiburan, solidaritas, media meditasi, dan media terapi. Abstract

The purpose of this study were to analyze and prove the effect of electronic service quality, perceived risk, information quality, on loyalty through satisfaction and trust in BNI Mobile Banking users in Samarinda City. This study used a questionnaire with a sample of 160 BNI Mobile Banking users in the city. This research used a quantitative approach with path analysis which was processed with IBM SPSS Statistic 23.0 software and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 5.0 software. Accidental random sampling was employed in this study, with a measurement scale using a Likert scale with a score of 1 to 5. The test instrument was validity and reliability test and the classical assumption tests such as linearity test, normality test, multicollinearity test were used. Then the estimation test and structural model fit test were carried out. Based on the structural model, it could be proven that there was a significant influence between the variables electronic service quality and Information Quality on Satisfaction; Electronic Service Quality, Information Quality, and satisfaction on trust; trust on loyalty for BNI Mobile Banking users in Samarinda City. Meanwhile, there was an insignificant influence between the variables perceived risk on satisfaction; perceived risk on trust; electronic service quality and satisfaction on Loyalty.
