Abstract

The availability of electricity is very reliable as a main of supporting component in development progress and economic growth. PT. PLN as an authorized implementation unit for distributing and regulating electricity supply from the power plant to the transmission line requires a reliable network communication system for its operations, as a facility to connect all of its main substations. The disruption of the information network is an important thing that must be avoided in the company so that it does not interfere the distribution of information. The reliable information distribution methods from the main office to the branch offices should be failover that uses backup links in all branch offices as a solution to keep the information network system reliable by using the protocol of spanning tree and VLAN configuration on the routers and manageable switches. Having used the failover method on a network system, it is expected to help the company to always keep reliable in distributing information to all substations so that information loss can be drastically reduced.

Abstract

Implementation of technology that supports Society 5.0 needs to be done because the principal itself that focused towards technology implementation and not inclined emphasize to the technology development. Furthermore, 5.0 era also priotize technology implementation to all element of the society that could be used by diverse aspect in the community, such as: economics, education. Infrastructure, and community expertises. One of the support technology utilization is Costless Transportation Application Ojek GT base don Android Client and PHP: Hypertext Preporcessor (PHP) Web as server. This application designed using both of the platform above to fulfill the user’s need. Both of the platform are integrated using Application Programming Interface (API) as a data exchange medium to the database. The implementation of the software itself follows the Community Service Freedom Technology (CSFT) that designed as software development pattern which aims to push support technology utilization towards Society 5.0 era. In the future, this software is expected to be a simple of support technology utilization in Society 5.0 era that could be implemented to all the aspect in the community cope. Beside as a solution of costless technology utilization, Ojek GT could also be expected as Business Startup in the creative industry scope.

Abstract

Registration and list of attendees are an important factor to be done in formal and informal activities. The purpose is to know the attendees’ personal data and presence. Registration and presence using the manual method such as form filling in a piece of paper produce problem, among them is over excess of paper and time consuming presence activity. Therefore, a new efficient and effective system that take advantage of Android Smartphone and Quick Response Code (QR Code) as Smart Attendance System is needed. The use of Android and QR Code technology simplify registration and presence process so that the proses would be much faster and efficient. The design of QR Code presence application based on Android is using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model and designed using Use Case Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram. The presence application is made using combination of two platform, that is Android and web. On the Android Smartphone there are scanner and administrator profile. Whilst at the web platform contain participant, event, and admin database. The existence of the design and Smart Attendance system implementation, registration and list of attendees process will be faster, efficient, and used as on of the smart system to support the smart city is expected.
