Abstract

Patient safety in a hospital is often associated with work loads problem due to lack of available staff / nurses. The purpose of this study was to determine the workload and its relationship with work achievement of nurses at Stella Maris Hospital Makassar. The research design used was an observational analytic with cross-sectional. The sample size were 80 respondents with probability sampling techniques using random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the study obtained that 59 respondents (73.8%) worked more and as many as 62 (77.6%) had good performance. From the results of the chi square test obtained p value = 0.004, which showed the value of p <α that is α = 0.05 so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. So, there was correlation between workload and nursing performance in implementing the Patient Safety at Stella Maris Hospital Makassar. Then it can be concluded that nurses have a longer workload.

Abstract

Smoking behavior is an activity to burn cigarettes and then smoke and blow them out and can cause smoke that can be inhaled by the people around them. In modern times, many people smoke, especially teenagers. A total of 28 (62.2%) class XII students at SMA PGRI 2 Makassar had poor smoking behavior and 17 (37.8%) grade XII students at SMA PGRI 2 Makassar had good smoking behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between smoking behavior and student achievement of class XII at SMA PGRI 2 Makassar.This type of research is analytic observational with cross sectional approach. The study population was all students of class XII at SMA PGRI 2 Makassar. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, with a total sample size of 45 people. Collecting data using a questionnaire for smoking behavior while learning achievement used documentation taken from the academic section. The statistical test used was the Chi-Squar test with Kolmogorov's alternative test. -smimov So that the value of Zhitung = 1.640> Ztabel = 0.198 supported by the value of p = 0.009 <0.05. These two things indicate that the count x2> x2 table and p value <α. From the two things mentioned above, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between smoking behavior and learning achievement. So it can be concluded that in cigarettes there are chemical substances such as nicotine which can inhibit intelligence, proficiency level, reduce enthusiasm for learning, and reduce learning concentration.

Abstract

Stroke merupakan suatu keadaan yang timbul secara mendadak karena terjadinya gangguan aliran darah diotak. Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan kematian jaringan otak sehingga mengakibatkan seseorang menderita kelumpuhan bahkan kematian. Stroke tidak hanya menyangkut aspek neurologis saja tetapi berdampak pada aspek psikososial termasuk pada masa pandemi Covid-19 saat ini sehingga dalam hal ini dukungan keluarga sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan derajat psikososial pada pasien stroke. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan psikososial pasien stroke selama pandemi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Batua Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-eksperimental dengan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah pasien stroke yang berobat di Puskesmas Batua Makassar dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan jumlah sampel 50 responden. Intrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan analisis uji chi-square dengan uji alternatif kolmogrovsmirnov diperoleh nilai ρ < α. Dari hasil uji tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan psikososial pasien stroke selama pandemi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Batua Makassar.
