Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership on personnel performance through work motivation at the South Sulawesi Regional Police (POLDA Sulsel). The research adopts a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze the relationships among leadership, motivation, and performance. The sample consists of 81 police personnel, selected using Accidental Sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that leadership has a significant and positive effect on work motivation (β = 0.958, p < 0.05) and personnel performance (β = 0.911, p < 0.05). However, work motivation does not significantly affect personnel performance (β = 0.223, p > 0.05), and its mediating role between leadership and performance is insignificant (β = 0.155, p > 0.05). These findings suggest that leadership is a key determinant of personnel performance, whereas motivation alone is not a primary driver of performance in a structured law enforcement environment. The study recommends that POLDA Sulsel enhance leadership development programs to optimize personnel performance. Future research could explore additional factors such as organizational culture, job satisfaction, and institutional policies to further understand the determinants of performance within law enforcement agencies

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that Saudi Arabia, under the rule of Muhammad bin Salman, has made various revolutionary policies through Saudi Vision 2030 one by one and that Indonesia as a democratic country that is open to change is actually indicated by various efforts to change to be like Saudi Arabia, starting from culture to aspects of the state. This descriptive research with a qualitative approach produces the conclusion that behind the changes made by Saudi Arabia, it turns out there are still many who are trying so that the country of Indonesia, which is predominantly Muslim, can emulate Saudi Arabia as the direction of Muslims, including in aspects of the legal and state systems. However, efforts to implement the Islamic legal system cannot ignore the existence of beliefs that have lived in the midst of society, meaning that efforts to Arabize Indonesia need to be considered very complexly by the entire community, especially the Government, so that harmony that has been built in Indonesia today remains sustainable for the sake of the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kajian tentang potensi aset umat dan tata kelolanya menjadi kajian yang patut diberi porsi lebih. Al-Jihad sebagai salah satu lembaga yang mengelola aset umat tampak memiliki model tata kelola yang menarik untuk dikaji secara mendalam. Oleh karena itu, fokus utama kajian ini berkisar dua hal: Bagaimana tata kelola aset umat di Yayasan al-Jihad Surabaya; dan bagai analisis hukum Islam terkait tata kelola tersebut. Kajian ini adalah kajian lapangan yang mempergunakan pendekatan filosofis. Data diperoleh dari wawancara langsung terhadap beberapa tokoh yang terkait langsung dengan objek kajian. Data terkumpul dianalisis kritis secara mendalam, dan analisis compare-contrast dilakukan guna memperoleh validitas data yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi setidaknya dua kesimpulan besar: Pertama, prinsip skala prioritas (awlāwīyah) memainkan peran besar dalam tata kelola aset umat Islam. Lembaga pendidikan yang baik, sejatinya juga bisa menjelma sebagai lembaga sosial yang dapat mengangkat harkat, martabat dan kesejahteraan lembaga-lembaga yang mengelola aset umat Islam secara umum. Kedua, pemprioritasan atas aspek ḍarūrīyah (primer) dalam sistem tata kelola lembaga pendidikan secara tidak langsung berperan besar dalam mendukung perkembangan lembaga itu sendiri. Lembaga pendidikan yang ideal harus mampu menjadi pusan pendidikan dan pengajaran, namun di lain hal ia harus mampu menjelma sebagai lembaga sosial-kemasyarakatan. Lembaga pendidikan ini tidak hanya mampu menghadirkan proses pendidikan-pengajaran, namun dapat juga memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat yang paling mendasar, kesejahteraan. Kata Kunci: al-Jihad, DASA, Aset Umat, Dana Sosial, Skala Prioritas. Abstract: The study of the potential of community assets and their governance is a study that deserves to be given more portion. Al-Jihad as one of the institutions that manage people's assets appears to have an interesting governance model to be studied in depth. Therefore, the main focus of this study revolves around two things: How is the governance of people's assets at al-Jihad Foundation Surabaya; and how is the analysis of Islamic law related to this governance. This study is a field research, which uses a philosophical approach. Data is obtained from direct interviews with several figures directly related to the object of study. The collected data were critically analysed in depth, and compare-contrast analysis was conducted to obtain the validity of the data obtained. This research confirmed at least two major conclusions: First, the principle of priority scale (awlāwīyah) plays a major role in the governance of Muslim assets. A good educational institution, in fact, can also be transformed into a social institution that can raise the dignity and welfare of institutions that manage Muslim assets in general. Secondly, the prioritisation of ḍarūrīyah (primary) aspects in the governance system of educational institutions indirectly plays a major role in supporting the development of the institution itself. An ideal educational institution must be able to be a centre for education and teaching, but on the other hand, it must be able to be transformed into a societal institution. This educational institution is not only able to present the education-teaching process, but can also fulfil the most basic needs of society, welfare. Abstract

The lecturers' effectiveness is a key indicator of how higher education is improving. The university will do better the more well its lecturers perform. Performance results from lecturers carrying out their assigned tasks, in this case, implementing the higher education tri-dharma, which consists of teaching, research, and civil service. Achieving both the quantity and quality of higher education's tridharma implementation requires several criteria that impact both internal and external considerations. This research examines how organizational commitment in private higher education institutions in LLDIKTI Region IX affects lecturer performance regarding professionalism. Explanatory research using a quantitative approach directed by questionnaires is employed in the research design. Primary data was analyzed descriptively, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used. Based on research results, professionalism can improve lecturer performance. In this regard, it was found that professionalism can most influence lecturer performance. In particular, professionalism in social competence is reflected in the ability to express opinions. The main thing that can improve lecturer performance is having social competence that can build good and stable collaboration with other lecturers, education staff, students, and the community to support education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mengembangkan model strategi pengembangan desa wisata pulau lakkang sebagai daya tarik pariwisata di Kota Makassar. Pengembangan penelitian ini melalui analisis terhadap potensi setempat untuk menyusun strategi kegiatan pengembangan model desa Pulau Lakkang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Lakkang Kecamatan Tallo, Kota Makassar. Populasi penelitian adalah semua warga keluarahan Lakkang yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengembangan Desa Wisata Pulau Lakkang, sedangkan sampel penelitian ditentukan secara purposive. Jenis data penelitian meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Pulau Lakkang berdasarkan potensi wilayah, kegiatan desa wisata, dan kearifan budaya lokalnya dapat dibuat beberapa alternative model strategi pengembangan desa wisata yang terkait dengan aspek tujuan, aspek industri, aspek pemasaran dan aspek kelembagaan.

Abstract

The primary performance metric used by investors to evaluate the efficiency of capital investments is stock return. After the mining industry, the agricultural sector's stock price index volatility from 2015 to 2021 produced the second-lowest annualized return. Businesses can generate corporate value that is closely tied to stock returns by utilizing value creation-based performance analysis (EVA, MVA, Q-Tobin). Furthermore, stock returns may also be impacted by outside variables. The objectives of this study are to: (1) examine the financial performance of agricultural companies using Q-Tobin, MVA, and EVA; (2) examine the relationship between Q-Tobin, MVA, and EVA and macroeconomic factors (exchange rates and inflation) on stock returns in the agricultural sector; and (3) draw managerial conclusions from the analysis's findings. Eight companies in the agricultural sector that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange prior to 2015 provided the data. In order to ascertain the impact of macroeconomic variables, EVA, MVA, Q-Tobi, and panel data on stock returns, this study used descriptive analysis to evaluate the EVA, MVA, and Q-Tobi of each firm. The majority of the enterprises had negative EVAs, according to the results. However, the MVA study reveals that most businesses achieve positive MVA. The majority of the companies produce a value of q<1, according to the Q-Tobin data. Only the MVARET and Q-Tobin RET variables significantly improve stock returns, according to the REM analysis. Exchange rates, inflation, EVARET, and fictitious crises don't significantly affect stock returns.
