Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of presuppositions and what language functions contained in the speech of characters in the film Dzeeb. Researchers used a descriptive analysis method using the method of referencing which has the basis of tapping techniques. Based on the results of research on the first Dzeeb film, the utterances of the characters have four presuppositions, namely existential, lexical, factive, and non-active presuppositions. Existential presuppositions become findings that dominate the utterances of the characters in the film. Counterfactual presuppositions and structural presuppositions are not found in the speech of the characters in the Dzeeb film. The second is the function of language in speech utterances there are language functions including fatigue, directive, metalinguistic, and imaginative, referential functions. The directive language function is the finding that dominates the utterances of the characters in the Dzeeb film.

Abstract

In the process of learningnew language, language learner will experience language contact and then cause language interference. This study aims to determine (1) Forms and type of Indonesian interference found in Arabic language among class X MAN 1 Sragen; (2) factors causing language interference; and (3) solution to reduce language interference. The study used a qualitative research design. The data were collected through listening and recording method. Data were analyzed using Hubung Banding technique. The results of the study revealed that (1) language interference occurs in 214 cases contained phonological, morphological, and syntactic interference; (2) the causes of interference are bilingualism, differences on language structure between L1and L2, and lack of vocabulary; (3) solution to reduce language interference are teacher may speak Arabic pronunciation clearly, correcting learner errors immediately, doing imla’ lesson and classroom activities that help learners improve their language skill.

Abstract

Comprehensive approach in teaching is a further implementationof the teaching plan that covers teaching procedure in detail. This researchaim to explore said comprehensive approach for Arabic language teachingthat focused in developing the four skills: listening (maharat al-istima’),speaking (maharat al-kalam), reading (maharat al-qira’at), and writing(maharat al-kitabah). This comprehensive approach consists of four steps:orientation, exploration, strengthening, and summarizing. Orientation isthe first step in the teaching process that encourages students to focus theirstudy on the subject presented. Exploration is the next step in the processthat encourages students to be active in finding the facts, problems, and itssolutions. Strengthening step is the process of deepening, broadening, andstrengthening the students’ skill and mastery of the subject obtained in theexploration step. The last step is summarizing, encourages the students topresent and summarize the subject they studied. Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan komprehensif merupakanlangkah implementasi dari rencana pembelajaran terpadu secara menyeluruh,berisi rincian dari prosedur pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengungkapkan bagaimana pendekatan komprehensif dalam pembelajaranbahasa Arab yang difokuskan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasaArab, seperti keterampilan mendengar (Maharat al-Istima’), keterampilanberbicara (Maharat al-Kalam), keterampilan membaca (Maharat al-Qira’at),keterampilan menulis (Maharat al-Kitabah). Ada empat langkah utamadalam pendekatan komprehensif ini yaitu, langkah orientasi, eksplorasi,pemantapan dan penyimpulan. Langkah orientasi atau kegiatan awalpembelajaran merupakan langkah untuk mendorong kelas memusatkanperhatian terhadap pembelajaran; langkah eksplorasi adalah langkah untukmengajak dan mendorong siswa untuk mencari dan menemukan fakta,pengetahuan, masalah dan pemecahan; langkah pemantapan merupakanlangkah memperdalam, memperluas, memantapkan, memperkuatpenguasaan materi dan kemampuan yang telah dicapai pada langkaheksplorasi; dan langkah penyimpulan adalah langkah untuk menyimpulkantentang apa yang telah dipelajari.
