Abstract

Preservation of local culture can be finish with various activities, which is an art performance. Through the Heman Ka Budak performance, conducted by Dinas Pendidikan dan Budaya (Disdikbud) of Kuningan District, West Java, it produces of arts and cultural-themed activities that are routinely every week at the Car Free Day event. The purpose of this Social Responsibility is to increase the pride of Sundanese culture by the community, especially teenagers and the support of many parties in preserving local culture. In dealing with the problem of lack of public awareness in preserving local culture, evaluations through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) technique, which of Dinas Pendidikan dan Budaya (Disdikbud), artists as a participated in the activities of Heman ka Budak. In the FGD, Heman ka Budak activities faced of obstacles in the preservation this Sundanese culture. In addition to not getting funds to support activities, such as transportation costs for performers, consumption, and other technical costs, Mass Media to promotion and information also only uses Facebook and Instagram. There is no involvement of local and national Mass Media as well as sponsors of funding or products. So, local cultural preservation activities have not become a mass public concern, only held in the Kuningan District, West Java. The involvement of young people in this activity is only as a filler, not as long as they do promotions and publications as a pride towards the local culture.

Abstract

Student motivation is primarily PPKN education. However, in reality, students' abilities in PPKN lessons are still very low. For this reason, researchers conducted research with the aim of improving PPKN student learning outcomes on material respecting the cultural environment and local services in PPKN subjects in Class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Pintu Rime Gayo, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province for the 2021 academic year. There are 19 students. After discussion, the situation found was that students thought that the material was difficult and they never put it into practice in learning. Students do not understand examples of local culture and examples of local services. Apart from that, the PPKN test results also showed an average score of 65 where only 40% of students passed the KKM. After using the PJBL learning model, PPKn learning motivation increased, the researchers also carried out an evaluation by giving a quiz in the form of multiple choices and from the results the scores that could be seen were very good. After my analysis, of the 19 students, only 2 were less than the KKM, while 18 students (90%) got scores above the set KKM.

Abstract

Construction of a powder pass machine with an inverter control system to enhance the efficiency of powder application in cable production. The machine is designed to evenly distribute powder onto cables, using a 3-phase AC motor controlled by a Toshiba VF-S15 inverter to regulate the rotation speed. The tool's design includes a frame made of UNP steel, a screw conveyor, and a control system with a selector switch, pilot lamp, and potentiometer. The manufacturing process involves utilizing existing materials in the factory and installing electronic components such as MCB and inverter. Testing was conducted on the IS-17 machine at PT XYZ, cable production department, to ensure the machine operates according to specifications and achieves the desired results. The results demonstrate that the machine efficiently and consistently distributes powder, improving the quality of cable production.

Abstract

Produksi tire di Plant ABC meningkat dari 2100 tires per hari pada tahun 2023 menjadi 2500 tires pada tahun 2024 dan diproyeksikan mencapai 2700 tires pada tahun 2025. Namun, muncul masalah terkait ketersediaan kain liner 700 mm dan proses rewinding pada mesin RW1. Tantangan ini memerlukan solusi efektif untuk menjaga kelangsungan produksi. Modifikasi mesin rewinding dengan menggunakan metode FEA dan sistem kontrol berbasis PLC menjadi solusi yang diterapkan. Sementara itu, pada penelitian ini evaluasi menggunakan metode Quality Control Circle (QCC) dan uji T berpasangan untuk memastikan efektivitas modifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hasil modifikasi mesin rewinding yang menggunakan metode Finite Element Analysis (FEA) dan sistem kontrol berbasis PLC memberikan solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kapasitas produksi di Plant ABC. Modifikasi sistem kontrol dan display mesin rewinding kain liner berbasis PLC dan interface berupa HMI telah berhasil dilakukan dengan hasil sebagai berikut: Membuat panel kontrol, Menggunakan HMI yang dapat mengontrol dan men-display tampilan ukuran panjang kain liner dan kapasitas per shift serta mengunci akses reset kapasitas, Menggunakan voltmeter digital untuk mengetahui tegangan dari potensiometer. Modifikasi yang dilakukan semuanya teruji dan berfungsi dengan baik.

Abstract

The rapid advancement in information technology (IT) has prompted various industrial sectors to adoptdigitalization to enhance efficiency and productivity. PT. RCI, a manufacturing company in Indonesia, faceschallenges with time-consuming and error-prone manual ordering and monitoring processes. This study aims toaddress these issues by designing and building a website-based order insert system. The digitalization process isexpected to reduce ordering time, improve operational efficiency, and minimize errors. The methods used includeUnified Modeling Language (UML) modeling, with application development employing the CodeIgniterframework and PostgreSQL database. The study results indicate that digitalization and the use of informationtechnology can improve data management efficiency and effectiveness. The implementation of this system isanticipated to bring significant improvements to PT. RCI's production processes and provide broader benefits tothe manufacturing industry.

Abstract

The use of websites as digital learning media continues to grow; however, conventional PDF-based learningstill lacks interactivity and ef icient content understanding. This study aims to design and develop a PDF-basedlearning website integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The research method includes system design usingUnified Modeling Language (UML), web application development with the Flask framework, and MySQL as thedatabase. The developed system provides PDF upload, automatic content summarization, quiz generation, andAI-based question-and-answer features. The results show that the system improves learning ef iciency andsupports better comprehension of learning materials. This website is expected to support more interactive andef ective digital learning environments.
