Abstract

This study was aimed at finding the effectiveness of “Recount Board Game” in teaching and learning students’ speaking skills to the the tenth grade students of SMA Islam Sultan Agung 3 Semarang, Indonesia. The researchers used quasi experimental method and chose two classes for it, they were: X-1 as experimental class with 33 students and X-2 as control class with 34 students. In the both of classes, researchers conducted the research in three steps: pre-test, treatment, and post-test to look for the data then were analyzed by using SPSS for Windows Version 21.0. The result of this study showed that there was a significant difference in the result of pre-test and post-test in both of two classes. The mean of pre-test in experimental group was 59.19 and the mean of post-test in experimental group was 83.03. Whereas the mean of pre test in control group was 57.65 and the mean of the post-test in control group was 76.47. Based on independent t-test, t-value was higher than t-table (4.474 ˃ 1.997) and p < 0.05 (0.000< 0.05). It meant that there was a significant difference in the student’s skills achievement between the experimental and control groups. So, it could be concluded that H1 was accepted and the use recount board game was effective in teaching students’ speaking skills.

Abstract

Introduction: This research aims to determine the influence of bookstagram content on reading interest among its followers. Data Collection Methods: To measure this influence, the researchers distributed questionnaires to the samples in this study. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. This research aims to find out the content of bookstagram, to find out the influence on bookstagram content and to find out how big the influence is. Data Analysis: Data analysis techniques in this research use descriptive analysis, normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression analysis test, correlation and determination coefficient analysis and hypothesis testing. Result and Discussion: In testing the hypothesis test, we got a tcount value of 11.254 > ttable 1.966, which means that the content of the bookstagram account has a significant effect on reading interest or in other words has a positive influence between the two variables. Conclusion: The content on the bookstagram account regarding reading interest for its followers shows that the content on the bookstagram account provides information that suits the needs of its followers with the content created by the bookstagram account having a good form of conveying information.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product innovation and digital marketing on the competitive advantage of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital era. Product innovation and digital marketing are considered important factors in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs in an increasingly competitive market. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey of MSMEs in Sampang. The data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques to test hypotheses. The results of the study show that product innovation and digital marketing have a significant positive effect on the competitive advantage of MSMEs. Product innovation allows MSMEs to offer products that are more attractive and relevant to consumers, while digital marketing expands market reach and increases the effectiveness of promotions. This research provides practical implications for MSMEs to continue to innovate and utilize digital technology in their marketing strategies to achieve a lasting competitive advantagejutan.

Abstract

The sale of pirated books through online shop platforms in Indonesia has become a disturbing problem and threatens the integrity of copyright in this country. This article aims to investigate the phenomenon of copyright infringement in the context of selling pirated books on online shop platforms in Indonesia. Through an exploration of the sales methods used, their impact on the publishing industry and society, and countermeasures, this article provides an in-depth analysis of the problem. Literature studies and direct observations were carried out to understand the legal framework for copyright, the practice of book piracy on the internet, and the sale of pirated books in online shops. It was found that the sale of pirated books through online shop platforms resulted in financial losses for legitimate creators and publishers, as well as harming consumers by reducing the quality of the content. Apart from that, this phenomenon also hinders the growth of the publishing industry as a whole. Proposed countermeasures include strengthening the law, cooperation with online platforms, public awareness campaigns, increasing cooperation between parties, and empowering creators and publishers. By implementing these steps, it is hoped that the problem of copyright infringement in the sale of pirated books on online shop platforms in Indonesia can be addressed effectively, support the sustainable growth of the publishing industry, and protect the copyrights of creators and publishers.
