Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar masalah yang ditemukan di lapangan terkait dengan rendahnya literasi sains siswa anak-anak Indonesia yang menduduki peringkat 35 dari 49 negara peserta. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah pembelajaran IPA yang selama ini dilakukan tidak menyentuh seluruh aspek sains yaitu konten, proses dan konteks sebagian besar masih berorientasi pada konten. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains antara siswa yang mendapatkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Masalah dalam Pembelajaran IPA dengan siswa yang mendapatkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Konvensional dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan disain pretest posttest kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang mendapatkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Masalah dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan siswa yang mendapatkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) tidak berbasis masalah dalam pembelajaran IPA. Perbedaan tersebut terlihat signifikan setelah dilakukan uji dua beda rerata N-gain dengan uji Mann-Whitney. Berdasarkan perbandingan rata-rata N-gain kedua kelas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Masalah lebih meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dibandingkan penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) tidak berbasis masalah dalam pembelajaran IPA. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya disarankan agar membuat bahan ajar Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Masalah pada materi yang berbeda serta tingkat kelas yang berbeda agar menambah khajanah hasil penelitian

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of comic media on the scientific literacy skills of students in class IV and to determine the response of students to the use of comic media in classroom learning. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The research design used was the Nonequivalent Groups Pretest-Posttest Design. The research design consisted of two groups (control class and experimental class), each of which was given a pretest and posttest. The population in this study were students at SD Negeri Cilaja and SD Negeri Ligarmanah, while the sample was taken from two groups, namely class IV SD Negeri Cilaja as the experimental group and class IV SD Negeri Ligarmanah as the control class. Data collection was obtained through description questions in the form of pretest and posttest, as well as statements in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data using Minitab 18.0 software for Windows and Microsoft Excel. In the results of this study, there were changes in the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental class that had increased, at the pretest the mean score of students was 27.75, while in the posttest the average score of students was 40.15. Whereas in the control class the average score of the posttest students was only 34.45. This is reinforced by the results of the N-Gain calculation from the experimental class and the control class which show that the average increase in the experimental class and the control class has a different increase. The experimental class who received learning using comic media had an increase of 38.8% with a moderate increase category. Meanwhile, the control class who received regular learning had an increase of 20.6% with a low increase category. The questionnaire data analysis showed that students gave a positive response to science learning using comic media with an average score of 3.80. In the test results of the difference between the two mean posttest data using the Two Sample T 'test, there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class with a significant level of <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of comic media on the scientific literacy abilities of class students. Experiments using comic media have a significantly higher increase compared to the control class with ordinary learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Cibogo pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas V A sebanyak 21 orang dan siswa kelas V B sebanyak 21 orang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan N-gain untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa, (uji-t) untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunakan pendekatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dan uji besar pengaruh (effect size) untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pendekatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan rata-rata N-gain pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,76 dengan kriteria “tinggi” dan rata-rata N-gain pada control diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,45 dengan kriteria “sedang” (2) adanya pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan hasil uji besar pengaruh (effect size) diperoleh d yaitu 1,93 dengan interpretasi “besar”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Jigsaw learning model influences the understanding of the concept of classifying animals based on the type of food and student activities when the Jigsaw learning model is applied. This research was conducted at SDN Sukamaju class V. The type of research used by researchers was quantitative with the Quasi Experimental Design method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design, which involved 22 experimental class students and 22 control class students as samples. Collecting data in this study used a test in the form of Multiple Choice (PG) of 20 items. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) The Jigsaw learning model influences the understanding of the concept of classifying animals based on the type of food in class V students. The experimental class has an average value of 84.32. This can be proven by the results of the percentage value of 70.57%. This proves that applying the Jigsaw learning model can increase student activity in the learning process.

Abstract

This study designs and develops the Citizenship Education model to strengthen students' character. We need to continuously create several learning models that reinforce students' positive character. They stay enthusiastic about finishing the lecture on time and do not let life's challenges erode their spirit. They used development research. We obtain the analysis results from several stages: first, we identify problems and carry out task analysis; second, we conclude learning objectives during the design phase; third, we create patterns and utilise digital media in development; fourth, we apply the designed learning pattern in implementation; and fifth, we observe whether the created learning pattern aligns with our initial beliefs during evaluation. The development of the ADDIE instructional model leads to the next stage, which adapts to create the Citizenship Education learning model known as MPC (Modification of Project Citizen). This model focuses on digital media and develops Citizenship Education to strengthen students' character. This study introduces a novel Citizenship Education learning model that utilises interactive digital media to effectively deliver material and systematically shape students' citizenship character in the context of the digital era.
