Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Muhadatsah in improving the learning outcomes of Maharah Kalam students at the Al Adabiy Islamic Boarding School, because in this boarding school, muhadatsah activities or daily conversations using Arabic are implemented so that researchers want to know the contribution of this activity to the development of speaking skills and want to know the problems to improve speaking skills. Researchers see that the cause of the lack of students' abilities in Arabic speaking skills is the lack of mastery of Arabic vocabulary, the lack of practice speaking Arabic which has an effect on improving speaking skills. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative type. The method of data collection used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used data exposure, data analysis and data reduction which aimed to determine the role of muhadatsah in improving speaking skills so that researchers could take the values ??in this study. The results showed that 1) the role of muhadatsah in improving speaking skills is that students are fluent in speaking Arabic, fluent in pronouncing hijaiyah letters, enthusiastic in learning Arabic, activating the language environment, increasing mastery of Arabic vocabulary, and helping to train themselves in speaking Arabic. 2) The problems found in learning muhadatsah to improve speaking skills are limited vocabulary mastery, low motivation, fear of making mistakes, weakness in nahwu and sharaf knowledge, and the solution to these problems is that students must memorize a lot of Arabic vocabulary, eliminate the fear of making mistakes, learn nahwu and sharaf, get used to hearing Arabic, and motivate themselves to practice speaking Arabic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain One of the effective methods to overcome students’ difficulties in reading yellow book (classical Islamic texts), despite their prior study of nahwu (syntax) and sharaf (morphology), is the Al-Iktisyaf method. This method was developed by KH. Abdul Hannan Tibyan and integrates three main books: Fath al-Qarib al-Mujib, Amtsilah Tashrifiyah, and Kitab al-Imrithi. The objectives of this study are  To examine the implementation process of the Al-Iktisyaf method in teaching classical texts to beginner students at Ma’had Manba’ul ‘Ulum Sidomulyo Jember,and To evaluate the reading competence of beginner students in understanding classical texts and To identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in applying the Al-Iktisyaf strategy in teaching classical texts at the beginner level. The research approach used in this study is the qualitative approach, with a descriptive-analytical method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation.The results show that this method helps students improve their reading and comprehension skills more quickly and accurately. The method is implemented in three stages: explanation of vocabulary and rules, memorization and reading, and application of grammatical rules. Students’ competencies vary depending on their individual abilities, but enthusiasm and diligence are the key factors of success. Supporting factors include the availability of learning materials and motivation, while inhibiting factors include students’ lack of interest and challenges in creating a comfortable learning environment.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang berkembang pesat, kebutuhan akan media promosi yang menarik dan informatif menjadi sangat penting, khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan vokasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media promosi Program Studi Animasi Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Negeri Padang dalam bentuk motion graphic. Media ini memuat informasi mengenai keterampilan yang dipelajari, fasilitas penunjang, serta prospek karir lulusan, yang dikemas dalam format visual dinamis dan interaktif. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode pipeline, yang meliputi tahap pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan antara lain Krita untuk storyboard, Adobe Illustrator untuk desain aset visual, dan Filmora untuk proses editing animasi. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa motion graphic efektif dalam menarik perhatian target audiens, khususnya calon mahasiswa baru, melalui penyajian visual yang menarik, narasi yang jelas, serta distribusi strategis di media sosial seperti Instagram. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan media promosi pendidikan berbasis animasi dan mendukung peningkatan visibilitas program studi di era digital.
