Pengelolaan pembelajaran yang efektif membutuhkan berbagai jenis media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran dapat mempercepat kreativitas belajar siswa dan membantu siswa untuk memahami konsep dan isi materi pembelajaran secara luas. Media pembelajaran adalah alat dalam proses belajar mengajar yang digunakan dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dari guru kepada siswa agar efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kreatif crafting pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa media kreatif crafting untuk membantu anak-anak meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris mereka. Media kreatif crafting sangat efektif untuk mengembangkan bahasa Inggris anak usia dini. Selain itu, media kreatif crafting dapat mengembangkan daya kreativitas anak usia dini sehingga anak termotivasi untuk belajar dan memiliki capaian belajar yang baik. Dengan demikian, media kreatif crafting merupakan media pembelajaran yang bermanfaat untuk merangsang dan mendukung anak usia dini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreativitas siswa.

The study aims to improve reading comprehension of the twelfth grade students of SMK Wira Harapan through visualization strategy. Visualization strategy in this present study has four elements, such as: Reading, Discussing, Sketching, and Sharing. Based on the mean score of the pre-test that was only 41.82, the subjects’ reading comprehension was still low. To enhance the improvement of their ability, the researcher prepared some instruments to collect the data, namely: pre-test, post-test and questionnaire. The study was divided into two cycles which consisted of four sessions. The result of the mean score in cycle I was 71.64. The minimum passing grade of the twelfth grade students of SMK Wira Harapan was 80, it caused the researcher continued the research by conducting post-test in cycle II and the result of the mean score was 82.30. The finding showed that was constant improvement of the students after implementing visualization strategy. In addition, the result of the questionnaire showed that more than 90% agreed with this technique. In conclusion, the study showed that reading comprehension skill of the twelfth grade students of SMK Wira Harapan in academic year 2019/2020 could be improved through visualization strategy

According to Larson (1984) there are two kinds of translation, they are literal and idiomatic translation. Literalism can only be avoided by carefully analysis of the source language (SL) understanding clearly the message to communicate. Idiomatic translations use the natural forms of the receptor language (RL) and the basic overriding principle is that an idiomatic translation reproduces the meaning of the SL. Nida (1974) states that translating consist in reproducing in the receptor language the closest natural equivalent of the message, first in meaning and secondly in term of style or it is called Dynamic Equivalent. Both theories are applicable to analyze the data which are collected from bilingual novel from Mark Twain “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and in Indonesian from Abdoel Moeis “Tom Sawyer”. The analysis of the data is presented descriptively, in order to find the English Idioms using part of the body include the word ear, eye, face, hand, heart, head, nose, and tongue

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian ex post facto (desain korelasional) untuk mengetahui adanya korelasi antara penguasaan kosakata dan kemampuan menulis siswa. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar. Seluruh populasi adalah 360 siswa untuk 8 kelas. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 45 sampel dengan teknik cluster sampling dengan sistem undian. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS 25.0 for windows untuk mengukur empat nilai standar. Peneliti menggunakan dua item tes, yang disebut tes penguasaan kosakata: cloze task, dan tes kemampuan menulis: tes deskripsi gambar. Hasil data menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,635 dan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,000, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara dua variabel. Korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y dianggap cukup korelasi karena skala skornya adalah 0,635 > 0,600. Artinya ada hubungan positif antara penguasaan kosakata dengan kemampuan menulis

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas delapan SMPN 2 Manggis dengan menggunakan prosedur cloze task. Mereka ditentukan dengan cara pengambilan sampel acak dengan sistem sistematis. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan mengelola cloze task sebagai instrumen penelitian. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam bentuk desain penelitian ex post facto. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan lima nilai standar. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 56,70% dari sampel yang diteliti berhasil dan 43,30% tidak berhasil dalam membaca pemahaman yang dinilai melalui cloze task. Kesimpulannya, persentase menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman membaca siswa kelas delapan SMPN 2 Manggis dapat dikategorikan sebagai prestasi yang cukup.

The study of this research was to figure out the improvement of speaking skill of the eighth grade students of SMP Budi UtamaKerobokan in academic year 2019/2020 through inside outside circle with video. The subjects were the eighth grade students of SMP Budi UtamaKerobokan in academic year 2019/2020. The passing grade of the eight grade students is 77. The design was classroom action research that carried out through inside outside circle with video technique in two cycles, on each cycle consisted of two sessions. The obtained data were collected by administering the instruments to the subjects, then qualitatively from the questionnaire. The result in each cycle showed that the pre-test was 65.5, than there was significant improvement in post-test 1 was 74.8, and last on post-test 2 was 82.7. It means that 75% of the subjects pass the passing grade. The result of the questionnaire showed that 99% of the students agree with implementation of this technique. In short, the present classroom action research showed that speaking skill of the eighth grade students of SMP Budi UtamaKerobokan in academic year 2019/2020 can be improved through inside outside circle with video.
