Abstract

Efek gas rumah kaca dan emisi karbon menjadi isu yang kerap dibincangkan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Salah satu point dalam Protokol Kyoto adalah mereduksi efek gas rumah kaca. Pembakaran minyak bumi dan batu bara untuk menghasilkan energi melepaskan karbondioksida (CO2). CO2 yang menumpuk di atmosfir menyebabkan efek gas rumah kaca dan pemanasan global. Total konsumsi energi yang digunakan pada bangunan mencapai 40% dari keseluruhan penggunaan energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan  sebuah konsep desain rumah dengan penggunaan energi yang minimal  dengan cara melakukan review terhadap jurnal-jurnal yang dengan tema bangunan hemat energi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa penerapan bangunan hemat energi dapat dilakukan melalui orientasi bangunan dan pemilihan material konstruksi.

Abstract

To attract public interest in using Bus Trans Koetaradja , the operator must be able to provide and provide adequate facilities and provide good service to the people who use the Bus. Good service is a factor that will encourage people to use the bus as a  daily transport. People with disabilities are vulnerable people including pregnant women, elderly people and people with disabilities, because of their limitations they are entitled to special facilities in the use of public facilities and infrastructure, including buses. This research was conducted to examine the level of satisfaction of Bus Transkoetaradja users towards facilities for people with disabilities. The research was conducted by survey, Researcher distributing questionnaires to 100 Trans Koetardja Corridor I Bus Users. The results showed that the overall level of satisfaction of Trans Koetaradja Bus users for the availability of facilities and infrastructure for people with disabilities received a satisfactory score, but there are criteria that are considered quite satisfied, such as the comfort of the ramp at the bus stop, this is definitely a concern for the company to further improve bus services.

Abstract

Untuk melayani lalu lintas orang, kendaraan maupun barang maka pembangunan jalan merupakan tujuan utama yang dilakukan. Salah satu jalan yang terdapat di kabupaten aceh tengah ini adalah jalan sengeda-takengon. Kemacetan di ruas jalan ini sudah menjadi hal yang biasa setiap harinya. Untuk melihat kondisi ini maka dilakukan survey pengamatan lalu lintas dilapangan selama 12 jam yaitu jam 07.00-19.00 WIB yang dilaksanakan pada hari, senin, kamis, dan sabtu. Untuk menganalisa volume, kecepatan dan kepadatan lalu lintas ini digunakan model liner Greenshields, Greenberg dan Underwood. Untuk model Greenshields kecepatan-kepadatan (S-D) S = 36 – 0,27D, volume-kecepatan V = 133,38S – 3,75 S2, volume-kepadatan V = 35,54D – 0,27 D2. Model Greenberg, kecepatan-kepadatan (S-D) S = 8,19Ln(856,71/D), volume-kecepatan V = V = 856,71Se-s/8,19, volume-kepadatan V = 8,19DLn856,7/D. Model Underwood kecepatan-kepadatan (S-D) S = 36,5e-D/103,24, volume-kecepatan V = 103,24SLn36,5/S, volume-kepadatan V = 36,5De-D/103,24. Untuk jalan Sengeda – Takengon model yang dapat dikatakan paling sesuai adalah Greenshield dengan nilai volume lalu lintas paling rendah yaitu Vm = 1184,93 Smp/Jam.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide students with an understanding of the importance of renewable energy usage and to raise awareness about sustainability. It took place at the Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School located in Geundring Village, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar Regency. The methodology employed included socialization, discussions, and practical training on solar panel installation. Participants comprised a team from the Faculty of Engineering at Abulyatama University and students from Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School.The outcomes of this initiative include the successful dissemination of information regarding the benefits of solar panels as an alternative energy source, as well as the installation of one solar-powered lamp that can provide lighting at night and enhance the quality of the boarding school’s facilities. The students gained a better understanding of renewable energy through socialization and discussions. They learned about the benefits and operation of solar panels and the significance of environmental sustainability. This activity contributed to raising the students' awareness of the need to transition to more environmentally friendly energy sources, thereby potentially stimulating further renewable energy initiatives.
