Abstract

The development of Madura area has its own challenge due to its low development indicators which become the complexity barometer of development problems in this area. The development of Madura area has main obstacles, such as the limitation of infrastructure and transportation acces from and to Madura that weakens the economic development in this area. However, there are many promising potentials of the island that can be developed although until now because of its limitation, the development of Madura is not yet optimal. This research used area marketing concept called Strategic Place Triangle model with nine elements that are categorized into three dimensions, namely strategic (segmentation, targeting, positioning), tactic (differentation, marketing mix, and selling), and value (brand name, service, and process). The data that is used in this research is primary data (derived from questionnaries), and secondary data from some related institutions. The conclusion of the research showed that resource-based industrial sectors (agricultural and natural industries) are the recommended sectors that shall be developed in Madura area. While the segmentation result showed that there were two main investors, namely PMDN and Non Facility. PMDN investors tend to invest in agricultural-intensive resources and labor intensive (Sumenep and Pamekasan districts), whereas Non Facility investors tend to invest in natural- intensive resorces (Bangkalan and Sampang districts). Compared to its main competitor, Sidoarjo district, Madura has some added-value, such as inexpensive price of land, investment opportunity, loading and unloading harbor in Bangkalan district, and agricultural and natural resources for industry.

Abstract

Untuk memasarkan potensi pariwisata, khususnya wisata bahari kepulauan Sapeken, perlu dibuat strategi pemasaran yang tepat untuk hasil yang optimal. Karena kepulauan Sapeken dekat dengan Bali, yang menjadi ikon pariwisata Indonesia, sehingga prospek pengembangan pariwisata, termasuk wisata bahari, sangat bagus untuk menarik wisatawan, baik wisatawan domestik maupun wisatawan asing untuk melanjutkan perjalanan mereka dari Bali ke Sapeken nusantara. Selain itu, analisis perubahan internal Bandara Trunojoyo akan segera dikembalikan di Kabupaten Sumenep, untuk digunakan secara komersial, akan memudahkan akses bagi wisatawan untuk pergi ke Kabupaten Sumenep dan pergi ke kepulauan Sapeken untuk tujuan berikutnya sejak kecamatan Sapeken di Pulau Saor, desa Sapeken , Pulau Pagerungan Besar (bekas SPBU) ada bandara dengan pendekatan tempat pemasaran. Oleh karena itu, mengetahui potensi di wilayah kecamatan Sapeken, termasuk potensi pariwisata bahari yang menyebar di sekitar kepulauan di Indonesia, dan peran sektor pariwisata pada pengaktifan ekonomi suatu daerah, perlu untuk mengetahui strategi atau model untuk pemasaran potensial di semua kegiatan pariwisata.

Abstract

To market the potential of marine and tourism, especially marine tourismrequired an appropriate marketing model for an optimal result. Given thearea of Sapeken Island adjacent to P.Bali which is the icon of Indonesiantourism, the prospects of tourism development, including marine tourism, isvery good that is by attracting tourists both domestic tourists and foreigntourists to continue the tour from P.Bali to the Sapeken Islands..The rebuilding of Trunojoyo airport in Sumenep regency to be operatedcommercially will facilitate tourist access to visit Sumenep regency and thento Sapeken Islands because in Sapeken sub-district is P.Saor Desa Sapeken,P.Pagerungan Besar (former Pertamina).By knowing the potential in Sapeken region, including the potential of marinetourism spread across several small islands, and the role of tourism sector inmoving the economy of a region, it is necessary to find a strategy or model tomarket these potentials in the package.

Abstract

This research conducts on analysis of changes in the external environment of tourist destination especially for Kota Batu Malang District (East Java Province). The result of mapping analysis of the external environment shows factors that influence the condition, such as technological changes, the changes on regulation policy, socio-cultural changes, economical changes, and market changes. The analysis of internal environment of tourist destination in Kota Batu Malang results some influencing factors, namely a) nearness to Surabaya as the centre of government and economy, b) bureaucratic government system, c) the growth of industrial and tourism sector after agriculture. The use of Strategic Place Triangle approach and SWOT analysis results Positioning, Differentiation, and Brand of Kota Batu Malang tourism area. The Positioning of Kota Batu Malang tourism area is Bali of East Java that still holds religious values and local culture. The Differentiation is one-stop-shopping services, endless tourism enchantment, natural beauty, welcoming people, fame and enchant. The Brand of Kota Batu Malang tourism area is Enchantment of Kota Batu Malang Tourism.

Abstract

Abstrak]{Program hutan untuk pengentasan kemiskinan diangkat kepermukaan kembali oleh Departemen Kehutanan (Dephut) melalui program wanaternak (silvopasture). Secara umum silvopastura diartikan sebagai kegiatan kombinasi antara kegiatan kehutanan dan peternakan dalam suatu kawasan hutan atau luasan lahan. Salah satu daerah yang memiliki potensi pengembangan lahan hutan dan peternakan adalah Desa Kebontunggul, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Khusus untuk ternak sapi, di Desa Kebontunggul berkembang program bantuan sapi secara bergulir yang telah berlangsung selama 15 tahun sejak tahun 1998. Hal ini tentu merupakan potensi yang sangat besar, namun potensi ini belum dioptimalkan oleh warga karena metode pemeliharaan sapi yang diterapkan masih tradisional. Peternakan sapi yang dilakukan oleh warga Desa Kebontunggul belum mengarah pada aspek bisnis, tetapi baru sebatas budidaya konvensional. Pada akhirnya adanya peternakan sapi tidak dapat memberikan perbaikan ekonomi warga yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini penting dilakukan untuk mengidentikasi peluang pengembangan silvopastura pada lahan Perhutani di Desa Kebontunggul. Diharapkan dengan hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat membantu masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan lahan tidur dan meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat.
