Abstract

Port development was becoming a major issue in promoting national and regional economic competitiveness. However, the development of public ports in Aceh province has not been significantly caused by low port economic activity. This research used Linear Programming, qualitative description, and Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The result showed the main economic policy of port development in Aceh Province was to developing economic growth centers in hinterland by developing sectors producing goods such as agriculture, forestry and fishery sector, mining and quarrying sector, and industrial sector. The another policy was strengthen connectivity port-hinterland logistics network by improving the quality connectivity infrastructure, enhancing cooperation between port operators with exporters and logistics service providers, and build the dry port.

Abstract

Digitization of voting results in Indonesia is essential to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the election process. This research introduces an innovative approach that uses Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for handwritten number recognition and tally mark recognition. This research uses a dataset obtained from Kaggle. The research process is conducted in several stages, namely Data Collection, Preprocessing, Data Sharing, Modelling, and Evaluation. The results showed that the proposed model achieved an accuracy of 98%. This research shows that using the CNN algorithm for handwritten number recognition and tally mark recognition can improve accuracy and efficiency in digitizing voting results. It is expected that this research can make a significant contribution to the development of a more reliable digital voting system. Future research is recommended to use a larger dataset to validate the strength of the model, which has been built on more varied data.

Abstract

Business transformation of MSMEs is a top priority in improving competitiveness in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the implementation of information technology and applications in supporting the transformation of MSMEs in Makassar City. The research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, through a survey of 60 MSMEs that use information technology such as computers, the internet, and digital applications. Data analysis includes validity, reliability, normality, and linear regression tests to see the relationship between technology utilization and MSME performance. The results show that most MSMEs in Makassar have used information technology for administration, marketing, communication with consumers, and promotion. E-commerce proved to be an important element in expanding markets and improving operational efficiency. Statistical testing revealed a significant influence between the use of information technology and the improvement of MSME performance, including production, sales, revenue, and HR management. These findings suggest that information technology helps MSMEs in Makassar City become more competitive in the digital era. Keywords: MSMEs; Information Technology; Makassar City

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang, aiming to analyze its impact on student-centered learning and character development. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research involved the entire school community, with purposive sampling of key informants such as the principal, curriculum coordinators, teachers, and students. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed thematically using Miles and Huberman's model. The findings reveal that the school has successfully applied various strategies, including forming a Learning Committee, conducting House Training, and integrating the Pancasila Student Profile Project. These efforts have enhanced student creativity, independence, and skills, although challenges remain in teacher adaptation and resource availability. The study concludes that the Independent Curriculum strengthens student competencies and character, but recommends further comparative research and improved teacher training for broader impact.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing trend of thematic tourism based on artificial attractions, which has developed alongside Generation Z's preference for tourism experiences that are aesthetic, fast, and easily shared through digital media. Kampoeng Eropa Malino was chosen as the study object due to its popularity among young tourists, yet it has never been academically studied regarding how Gen Z forms expectations and preferences towards the attractions offered. This study aims to analyze Gen Z's expectations and preferences regarding visual, thematic, and facility attractions, as well as spatial experiences at the destination. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through the experience stories of three Gen Z informants who had visited more than twice and the researcher's direct observations at the location. The analysis was carried out by categorizing the informants' experiences, comparing them with field conditions, and interpreting them through a framework of push and pull motivations in tourist behavior. The results of the study indicate a gap between Gen Z's visual expectations shaped by digital media and the actual experiences at the location. The Europe theme was considered not immersive, the variety of photo spots was limited, and facilities, including culinary options and accessibility, were deemed insufficient to meet the needs of young tourists. These findings suggest that Gen Z's internal motivations do not result in satisfaction when external attractions do not meet their aesthetic and comfort standards. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on medium-scale artificial thematic destinations and how Gen Z interprets visually and thematically based tourism experiences.
