Abstract

Leadership that promotes ethics and integrity is the key to success in running an organization, especially in the midst of various modern challenges such as globalization and technological change. In Indonesia, the values of Pancasila are a relevant moral guide for creating dignified and effective leadership. This article discusses the application of Pancasila in leadership, focusing on how principles such as Divinity, Humanity, Unity, Deliberation, and Social Justice can shape a leadership style that is responsible, fair, and in favor of the common good.Through analysis of various sources such as literature, organizational reports, and case studies, this research shows that Pancasila values have an important role in strengthening organizational trust, resolving conflicts fairly, and creating inclusive decision-making processes. For example, the Second Precept encourages leaders to respect human rights, while the Fourth Precept supports a collective approach in every decision taken. However, implementing these values is not without obstacles. Some of the challenges faced include a hierarchical organizational culture, lack of education on Pancasila values, and the influence of global norms that sometimes do not fit the local context. To overcome this, a strategy is needed that includes comprehensive education of Pancasila values, the establishment of a transparent work culture, and regulations that support the application of local norms in management.By making Pancasila the basis of leadership, organizations in Indonesia are not only able to better face global challenges, but also strengthen the nation's cultural values in daily leadership practices.

Abstract

The development of the democratic system in Indonesia began with Representative Democracy which was implemented during the revolution between 1945 and 1950. Furthermore, Indonesia entered the Liberal Democracy era during the Old Order, namely from 1950 to 1959. After that, the government system changed to Guided Democracy which continued in the Old Order era from 1959 to 1966. Then, during the New Order (1966–1998), Indonesia adopted the Pancasila Democracy system. Entering the Reform Order from 1998 to the present, Indonesia adopted the Reform Democracy system. Democracy teaches that because they are the ones who understand their own needs and rights. From this understanding, rules were born that aim to protect and benefit the people. In order for this to be realized, a system of rules is needed that is supported by all parties, which then becomes the foundation in national life in order aprotect the rights of citizens. The rule is manifested in the form of a concept of supreme power in democracy should not be interpreted as something absolute and unlimited. In fact, joint agreement that is stated in the constitution—the result of a joint formulation approved by the people when establishing the state. This constitution is the guideline for channeling, implementing, and managing the sovereignty of the people in the practice of organizing government and daily state life

Abstract

This study explores the process of reinforcing civic values to shape the character of the younger generation in the digital era. It addresses the challenges posed by technological advancements such as misinformation, cyberbullying, and moral decline, emphasizing the urgent need for integrated educational strategies. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research investigates how collaboration between schools, families, and communities contributes to character development. Data were collected through literature review and semi-structured interviews with educators, students, and education observers. The findings reveal that civic education is more effective when supported by digital media and strengthened by consistent communication between parents and schools. Programs that integrate local values and national identity into digital learning platforms enhance students’ understanding of civic responsibility. Moreover, parental involvement through digital tools plays a significant role in reinforcing values taught at school. The study concludes that while digital platforms offer innovative methods for character education, their success depends on cultural relevance, ethical supervision, and equitable access. This research contributes to the development of character education models that are adaptable to technological changes while rooted in shared civic values, ensuring that students become both digitally competent and morally grounded individuals.
