Abstract

At that time the melting incident occurred at PT Indonesia Thingshan Stainless Steel (ITSS) at around 17.30 WITA, involving 18 people, consisting of 10 Indonesian employees and 8 foreign employees. From this explosion, 33 other employees also experienced dizziness. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing work accidents in the mining industry in this case is to describe the incident that occurred at PT ITSS which is located in PT IMIP. This study used the literature review method, with data from Google Scholar using HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) analysis. The results of the study showed that of the five factors that most influenced the work accidents that occurred at PT ITSS which is located in PT IMIP were man factors and environmental factors where there was negligence in the use of PPE that did not meet standards so that several people died and foreign workers were found who did not comply with the contract and could not speak Indonesian at all had violated work procedures, communication difficulties, these violations can complicate work coordination. This causes operations not to comply with the protocol, which leads to work accidents.

Abstract

As one of the largest mining companies, PT. IMIP is a nickel processing industrial area. Therefore, a Corporate Social Responsibility is needed, which is a form of corporate responsibility towards the community around the company's operational location. The research method employs a qualitative approach, utilizing literature studies as the primary source for writing scientific papers, by collecting data from various valid and reliable reference sources. The results of the study show that PT. IMIP, in carrying out its own CSR, is a company that looks at the Triple Bottom Line concept, also known as 3P (Profit, People & Planet). In generating good profits, PT Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park not only focuses on achieving financial gains, but is also committed to improving the economic welfare of the community, protecting the environment, and, of course, benefiting the environment and its surroundings. It can be seen from the allocation of CSR funds of IDR 170 billion over the past three years, which have been distributed to support the economic sector of the surrounding community. This demonstrates that the implementation of CSR at PT. IMIP can be considered successful.

Abstract

Antam Tbk di Indonesia merupakan perusahaan tambang nikel yang menerapkan metode tambang terbuka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pulau Pakal yang terletak di Provinsi Maluku Utara atas dasar dibutuhkannya suatu kajian terhadap kestabilan lereng untuk menghasilkan ketinggian dan kemiringan lereng yang aman pada rencana penambangan nikel. Kestabilan lereng ini dikaji dengan observasi langsung ke lapangan dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, lereng pada bagian Timur dan Selatan PT. Antam Tbk memiliki tinggi overall slope yaitu 24 meter dam 30 meter dan sudut overall slope 47 derajat dan 36 derajat. Masing-masing memiliki 5 bench dengan lebar 2,1m. Selanjutnya analisis kestabilan lereng menggunakan software slide, didapatkan nilai faktor keamanan pada Timur yaitu 1.163 dan pada penampang Selatan kondisi didapatkan nilai faktor keamanan 1,186 di dapatkan faktor keamanan bahwa lereng dalam kondisi tidak stabil. Dari analisis tersebut, dilakukan trial and error untuk mendapatkan nilai ambang batas optimal pada faktor keamanan berdasarkan Kepmen ESDM nomor 1827 lereng harus 1,20 dapat dikatakan stabil atau aman melalui simulasi perubahan tinggi overall slope dan sudut kemiringan overall slope. Hasilnya pada lereng dengan tanpa muka air tanah menunjukkan perubahan hasil pada penampang timur yakni 1.212 dan 1,247 serta pada penampang Selatan diperoleh faktor keamanan yakni 1.223 dan 1.278. pada keadaan jenuh air diperoleh nilai faktor keamanan pada penampang timur yakni 1.210 dan 1.219 dan pada pemanpang Selatan diperoleh nilai faktor keamanan yakni 1.211 dan 1.235.
