Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan suatu kondisi terjadinya peningkatan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik yaitu >140/90 mmHg. Hipertensi merupakan penyakit degeneratif yang membutuhkan terapi jangka panjang dan tekanan darah harus terkontrol, dan untuk mencapai tekanan darah yang terkontrol dibutuhkan managemen terapi yang baik, salah satunya adalah kepatuhan dalam meminum obat antihipertensi. Kepatuhan dan ketidakpatuhan terapi akan mempengaruhi terkontrolnya tekanan darah pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan pasien meminum obat antihipertensi di Desa Kujon, Ceper, Klaten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan kuesioner MARS-10. Responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 57 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar responden (59,65%) memiliki tingkat kepatuhan sedang / cukup patuh dalam meminum obat antihipertensi

Abstract

Self-medication is an attempt to treat a condition or complaint based on self-diagnosed symptoms. The drugs used are non-prescription drugs, such as over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. Self-medication is one of the causes of medication errors. One of the factors in the occurrence of problems in self-medication is the lack of knowledge and understanding of the community regarding drugs and their indications. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of the use of non-prescription drugs in the community of Karangduren Village, Kebonarum District, Klaten Regency. This research is an observational descriptive research. The sampling technique used simple random sampling method, and a questionnaire containing 15 questions including the name and content of the drug, drug efficacy, drug dosage, drug administration, and drug side effects. There were 67 respondents involved in this study. The results showed that most respondents (50.7%) had a good level of knowledge in using non-prescription drugs.

Abstract

The incidence of hypertension in the elderly has increased, which is caused by several factors that affect the level of compliance. This study was conducted to determine the level of compliance and factors that influence the use of antihypertensive drugs in patients at the elderly Posyandu Drono Village. This study used purposive sampling technique and questionnaire instrument of MARS-10, correlation analysis was performed with Chi-square test. The results showed that the level of patient compliance in the elderly Posyandu of Drono Village was not compliant (71.4%). Factors that have a correlation with compliance with the use of antihypertensive drugs are educational factors, with a value of p = 0,002 and family support factors with a value of p = 0,045. Providing comprehensive counseling about the desired outcomes, potential side effects, and proper medication usage can enhance patient knowledge, ultimately improving patient adherence. Moreover, family support can promote better adherence in elderly patients.

Abstract

Lengkeng termasuk kedalam tumbuhan tropis yang memiliki kandungan kimia yang salah satunya berfungsi sebagai antihiperpigmentasi kulit. Bagian tumbuhan yang belum banyak dimanfaatkan adalah bagian biji. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui sifat fisik formula krim biji lengkeng dengan variasi konsentrasi 1%, 2%, dan 3%. Metode pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi uji organoleptis, uji tipe krim, uji pH, uji homogenitas, uji daya sebar, dan uji viskositas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ketiga formula ekstrak biji lengkeng menghasilkan uji organoleptik dengan hasil krim kental berwarna coklat, uji pH yang memenuhi standar, uji tipe emulsi M/A, uji homogenitas krim homogen, uji daya sebar memenuhi standar, dan uji viskositas juga memenuhi standar.
