Abstract

Nowadays the development of technology in the field of computer science is growing rapidly. With the rapid development of technology in the field of computer science, information and data require a security and confidentiality because the information becomes a very valuable item. However, with the development of technology there are also many threats of crime against files that users have. One way to maintain the authenticity of information and data is to use hash cryptography. The hash function is an algorithm that converts text / messages into a series of random characters that have the same number of characters. The hash function is used to guarantee the authentication service of messages or files. Algorithms that use hash functions include MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2 (SHA - 224, SHA - 256, SHA - 384, SHA - 512) and others that have their advantages and disadvantages. In designing this application, the cryptographic algorithm used is the SHA-224 algorithm, because SHA-224 has a summary of variable sizes. The file hashing application using the Android-based SHA-224 algorithm, can help users to maintain the authenticity of files from users anywhere and anytime. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan pendekatan problem solving menggunakan media Kantung Misteri. Permasalahan yang diangkat berdasarkan hasil asesmen awal dengan Daftar Cek Masalah (DCM) yang menunjukkan bahwa 38,86% siswa kelas X TKJ di SMK Negeri 4 Medan mengalami hambatan dalam keterampilan berbicara, khususnya di bidang sosial pada aspek hubungan pribadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan Konseling (PTBK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas dua pertemuan dengan tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, siswa masih menunjukkan keraguan, kurang percaya diri, dan kesulitan menyampaikan pendapat secara lisan. Setelah diterapkan media Kantung Misteri dalam siklus II, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek keberanian, kelancaran, dan struktur penyampaian ide secara lisan. Kartu tantangan yang ada dalam Kantung Misteri mampu memancing partisipasi aktif, mendorong berpikir kritis, dan melatih kemampuan menyampaikan gagasan secara spontan namun terstruktur. Media ini juga menciptakan suasana layanan yang menyenangkan dan suportif bagi siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis problem solving dengan media Kantung Misteri efektif digunakan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara siswa SMK. Implikasi dari penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru BK mengintegrasikan media kreatif berbasis tantangan dalam layanan untuk mendorong partisipasi aktif dan pengembangan soft skill siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to address bullying behavior by implementing classical guidance services utilizing a cognitive approach for Grade X AV 2 students at SMK Negeri 4 Medan. A descriptive qualitative method was applied through two cycles of intervention. During the first cycle, the absence of engaging media led to low student participation and limited understanding of bullying. In the second cycle, illustrated puzzle media was introduced to increase student interest. The outcome showed a marked improvement in student engagement and their ability to explain what bullying is, its consequences, and how to prevent it. These findings suggest that incorporating puzzle-based media into classical guidance sessions can serve as an effective method to raise students’ awareness and understanding of bullying.

Abstract

Academic procrastination represents a significant issue that adversely affects students' academic performance within the school setting. This research seeks to address procrastination tendencies among grade X students at SMK Negeri 4 Medan by implementing group counseling sessions utilizing the behavior contract technique. Assessment findings revealed that a majority of the students in the class exhibited a high tendency to delay academic tasks, and lacked awareness of time management. Group counseling services were chosen as an approach because they were able to create dynamics of mutual support between members, and form a shared commitment to make behavioral changes. The behavior contract technique was applied to build student commitment through a written agreement containing agreed behavioral targets and rewards. It is estimated that through this approach, students can increase their responsibility, internal motivation, and discipline in completing academic tasks on time, thus having a positive impact on improving their learning achievement.
