Abstract

Mathematics is a science that has a very important role for human life. Mathematics contributes greatly, ranging from simple to complex, ranging from abstract to concrete for problem solving in all fields. The lack of student interest in learning and the low value of students is only 24% successful in mathematics, especially in integer count operations in SDN 1 Sukamenanti, and 76% are still below the KKM. Therefore, it is necessary to improve learning that can improve learning outcomes, motivation and create a conducive learning atmosphere. The purpose of this study is to improve mathematics learning outcomes, especially the material operation of integer counts through the STAD method in class VI students at SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton District Bandar Lampung City Academic Year 2018/2019. The results of the improvement of the learning cycle I showed that by using the STAD model of mathematics learning outcomes in students in class VI experienced an increase in the average value of 60.41 with mastery learning by 52.38%. The results of the improvement of the second cycle of learning, an increase that is getting higher is the average value obtained by 71.19 with the achievement of mastery learning by 71.43%. And the results of the improvement of learning cycle III, there was a very high increase in the average value obtained by 86.67 with the achievement of mastery learning by 90.47%. Based on the results of the above analysis it can be concluded that the use of the STAD Model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of the KPK and FPB material in class VI SDN 1 Sukamenanti Kedaton District Bandar Lampung City Academic Year 2018/2019.
