Abstract

Quality learning is the goal of learning. The mismatch of media in the delivery of lessons will result in the goal of learning not being achieved. In addition to teacher talks, videos, and practices in the laboratory to achieve learning objectives, it turns out that midwifery students have not mastered the related scientific foundations in subjects of intranatal care, especially providing care during labor and newborn care that has been studied. To attract students' interest and motivation in mastery, "Ular TaNGGa ASuhan PersaliNAn NOrmal (UNGGAS NANNO) or Intranatal Care and Newborn Care Snakes and Ladders Game" is needed in learning. The ADDIE model was used in research with validation subjects from expert teams and midwifery students as users. UNGGAS NANNO media is considered very worthy and very interesting in terms of the suitability of learning materials, images, and sizes, with an average score (of 92.5% and 96.8%). In addition to being feasible, UNGGAS NANNO can be used as an additional medium for learning and alternative assessments as a substitute for the final semester exam by teaching lecturers.

Abstract

Introduction. Periodic blood loss due to menstruation makes adolescent girls more susceptible to anemia. Menstrual periods such as prolonged menstruation, irregular monthly cycles, volume of blood loss, and health problems that accompany menstruation such as menstrual pain coupled with nutritional status can affect the occurrence of anemia in adolescents. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between menstrual periods, menstrual cycle, menstrual pain, and BMI with the incidence of anemia. Methods. This study was a cross-sectional study with a sample size of 53 respondents of adolescent girls of the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Banjarmasin City using an accidental sampling technique and analyzed using chi-square. The study was conducted in July 2024. The respondent’s height was measured using a microtoise and weight using a scale. Furthermore, they filled out a questionnaire about the menstrual periods, menstrual cycle, and menstrual pain, and the hemoglobin levels were checked using the Easytouch tool. Results. There was a relationship between BMI and anemia with a p-value of 0.026. Conclusion. It is important to provide education about understanding good and sufficient eating patterns and nutrition, as well as education about the importance of taking iron tablets and education about the side effects of iron tablets in an effort to prevent anemia.

Abstract

Abstract

The research method used is library research based on the Al-Quran, hadiths and decisions from MUI fatwas and laws related to legal sources regarding IVF laws in Islam. The sources taken are from several views of the law of artificial insemination in humans (IVF). One of them is according to the opinion of Prof. Dr. Masjfuk Zuhdi, Central MUI Decision. the decision of Nahdlatul Ulama was based on the results of the Alim Ulama National Conference Forum in Kaliurang Yogyakarta in 1981, the Muhammadiyah Tarjih Institute in 1980, the Islamic Fiqh Institute in 1986, which resulted in a conclusion with strengthened legal basis from the Al-Quran and Hadith. In the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) it is stated that if IVF with sperm and egg cells of a husband and wife is legal according to mubah law, it is permissible. This can happen because it enters into endeavors based on religious principles. However, the scholars forbid the use of IVF technology from married couples who use another woman's womb as a means and this is unlawful. The scholars emphasized that in the future, this might cause difficult problems related to inheritance. In their fatwa, the MUI scholars also made a decision if IVF derived from sperm that had been frozen from a deceased husband is also unlawful because it would cause problems related to determining lineage or inheritance. Meanwhile, the process of IVF originating from sperm and egg cells that do not originate from a legal husband and wife, the MUI fatwa has expressly stated that this is unlawful with the same status as opposite sex relations outside of legal marriage or adultery.
