Abstract

Short stories are reading material that tells short stories, are interesting, and arouse the emotions of readers. Describe the story of the highlighted figure with fictional cohesiveness. In a short story, the characters are raised and subject to a problem until the completion stage. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the hierarchy of Abraham Maslow's multilevel needs theory, represented by figures in the collection of the storyline Surau Kami by A.A Navis. The object of this study is the short story Surau Kami. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a psychological psychology approach. Content content analysis model. Use reading techniques and note things related to the purpose of the study. Based on the results of the analysis in the story of Robohya Surau Kami by A.A Navis, it can be concluded that the author has synchronously presented an extraordinary story in the story of Roboh Surau Kami. There are five hierarchical needs of Abraham Maslow's theory, namely: physiological needs represented by the figures Grandfather and Mr. Kari. The needs of love and possessions from the representation of the figures Indra Budiman and Mr. O.M, The need for security is represented by the figures Grandfather and Lena. The need to be respected is represented by Misri and the mother. The highest need is self-actualization represented by a nurse figure. Keywords: Hierarchy of needs, and short stories.

Abstract

One form of early mathematical recognition is to introduce the concept of geometric shapes. Geometry is an important scientific discipline for present and future life by developing various ways that fit 21st century skills. This study aims to overcome the problem of early mathematical recognition of early childhood on geometry, especially how to recognize geometric forms based on computer learning. A total of 24 children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten has to carrying out 2 research cycles with a total of 5 meetings. Treatment activities in each learning cycle include mentioning, grouping and imitating geometric shapes. There were only 7 children who were able to recognize the geometric shapes in the pre-research cycle (29.2%). An increase in the number of children who are able to do activities well in each research cycle includes: 1) The activities mentioned in the first cycle and 75% in the second cycle; 2) Classifying activities in the first cycle were 37.5% and 75% in the second cycle; 3) Imitation activities in the first cycle 54.2% and 79.2% in the second cycle. The results of data acquisition show that computer learning application can improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes, this is because computer learning provides software that has activities to recognize geometric shapes with the animation and visuals displayed. Abstract

Tradisi Siraman Waranggana di Sendang Bektiharjo merupakan tradisi yang tumbauh dilingkup masyarakat Desa Bektiharjo Kecamatan Semandinga Kabupaten Tuban. Tradisi siraman waranggana dilaksanakan sejak jaman dahulu dan tidak diketahui tahun berapa pastinya. Tradisi tersebut dilaksanakan ditanggal 1 bulan November bertempatan hari jadi kota Tuban. Penelitian ini akan membahas menegenai bagaimana awal mula tradisi, kemudian bagaiamana proses tradisi tersebut, apa saja ubarampe yang dibutuhkan dalam prosesi dan makna setiap ubarampenya, apakah ada perubahan didalam prosesi tradisi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dari tradisi siraman waranggana dengan mengunakan Tintingan Folklor. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaiku metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber dan penelitian yang digunakan yaiku data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaiku wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pada pelaksanaan tradisi terbagi atas tiga prosesi, yaitu (1) prosesi menabur bunga, (2) prosesi siraman waranggana, (3) prosesi pendanyangan. Pada prosesi-prosesi tersebut terbagi atas tiga bagian yaiku pembukaan, pelaksanaan, dan penutup. Ubarampe yang digunakan dalam tradisi ini berupa air tujuh sumber, kupat lepet, tumpeng robyong, ingkung ayam, bunga melok, kemenyan, keris pusaka, bunga sekaran, kendi dan kendil. Perubahan dalam tradisi siraman waranggana yaiku perubahan dalam pelaksanaan dan dalam perubahan nama tradisi tersebut.
