Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning fiqh based on the integration of knowledge online during the Covid-19 period in schools. The type of this research is qualitative with a descriptive study method. In this context, researchers need to observe all the facts that occur in the field (research background) with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participant observation, and efforts to correlate (crosscheck) data with document studies. Data analysis uses reduction techniques, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of fiqh learning as a sub-subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on knowledge integration has been carried out effectively through the online system during the Covid-19 period. This is marked by (1) the ability of PAI teachers to design good online learning tools, as evidenced by learning tools according to the Ministry of Education and Culture during the Covid-19 period; (2) the ability of PAI teachers to carry out the online learning process well, as evidenced by supporting applications such as WhatsApp, zoom, google classroom, google form; and (3) the learning process is carried out in accordance with the learning tools made. The supporting factors for this implementation are the creativity of teachers and students in the online learning process, while the obstacles are students' indiscipline, lack of focus on learning. For this reason, an alternative solution for more effective online learning is through structured and periodic training provided to teachers.

Abstract

This literature review examines the multifaceted role of social media in the transformation of contemporary da'wah (Islamic proselytization). It explores the effectiveness of social media platforms in disseminating Islamic teachings, fostering community engagement, and addressing the evolving needs of the modern Muslim community. The review synthesizes existing research to analyze the opportunities and challenges presented by digital da'wah, including its impact on cultural and methodological changes in Islamic communication. The methodology involves a comprehensive analysis of scholarly articles, books, and online resources, focusing on themes such as content strategies, audience reception, and the ethical considerations of online da'wah. Key findings highlight the significant reach and accessibility of social media in spreading Islamic messages, alongside concerns regarding message distortion, content credibility, and the potential for the spread of misinformation. This review identifies strategies for maximizing the positive impact of social media in da'wah while mitigating its risks, offering insights for practitioners, scholars, and policymakers. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for a cautious and responsible approach to ensure that religious messages remain accurate, beneficial, and aligned with the core values of Islam.

Abstract

International studies, such as PISA 2022, show that Indonesian students' mathematical literacy is still relatively low. This study aims to determine the mathematical literacy ability of junior high school students in Metro City using quantitative methods. The research sample consisted of 248 students from 9 public junior high schools, selected via cluster random sampling: one class per school. Data were collected through a mathematical literacy test consisting of five essay questions and analyzed according to the ability criteria of Ebel and Frisbie. The results showed that students' average mathematical literacy score was 7.78 out of a maximum ideal score of 20. Most students were in the low and very low ability categories, indicating that the level of mathematical literacy in Metro City remains low. When viewed by sub-domain, students' abilities in algebra and statistics were in the moderate category, their abilities in numbers were in the low category, and their abilities in geometry were in the very low category. These findings indicate the need for further efforts to improve students' mathematical literacy, especially in numbers and geometry.
