Abstract

Desa wisata Fatumnasi merupakan desa wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan dengan keunggulan Cagar Alam yang berada di kaki Gunung Mutis serta memiliki potensi lokal yang dapat menjadi daya tarik bagi wisatawan. Adanya desa wisata ini menjadi peluang bagi warga untuk menyediakan Homestay bagi wisatawan. Selain mejadi akomodasi yang ditawarkan, Homestay juga menjadi peluang usaha bagi warga. Usaha homestay bagi masyarakat digunakan sebagai mata pencaharian tambahan setelah pertainan,untuk itu perlu penelitian mendalam untuk mengetahui lebih dalam tentang kondisi homestay di Desa Wisata Fatumnasi.Homestay merupakan salah satu kriteria dari adanya desa wisata.Homestay sebagai salah satu bentuk akomodasi pariwisata berperan cukup penting dalam upaya pengembangan pariwisata di desa wisata.Pemerintah Indonesia juga telah membuat kebijakan terkait pengembangan amenitas (homestay).Persepsi tentang konsep homestay menjadi salah satu hal penting bagi pemilik homestay.Setelah memahami konsep homestay, pemilik dapat mengelola homestay sesuai dengan pedoman pengelolaan homestay. Aspek pengelolaan homestay antara lain pengelolaan fisik dan lingkungan, sumber daya manusia, kelembagaan, data, dan promosi. Pengelolaan homestay secara profesional dapat menjadi peluang bagi masyarakat untuk menarik wisatawan tinggal lebih lama untuk menikmati kekayaan alam dan budaya di Desa Wisata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi dan pengelolaan homestay di desa wisata Fatumnasi . Manfaat penelitian ini adalah untuk menambah referensi dalam kajian pariwisata khusunya mengenai pengelolaan homestay. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini mengungkap persepsi homestay sudah diketahui pemilik, tetapi masih ada kekurangan dalam pengelolaan homestay oleh pengelola di desa wisata Fatumnasi. Saran dari penulis adalah perlunya pelatihan bagi pemilik homestay tentang homestay dan pengelolaannya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis indikator pariwisata pesisir, menganalisis kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman, serta menentukan strategi yang tepat dalam pengembangan pariwisata pesisir di Pantai Wini. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis SWOT. Strategi pengembangan dirumuskan dengan cara meminimalkan kelemahan dan ancaman, serta memaksimalkan peluang dan kekuatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, studi kepustakaan, serta wawancara dengan stakeholder terkait seperti Dinas Pemuda Olahraga Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan, Kelurahan, TNI AL, tokoh masyarakat, dan pengunjung. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kemudian untuk menentukan strategi pengembangan pariwisata pesisir dilakukan dengan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pengembangan pariwisata pesisir Pantai Wini antara lain mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan lahan pesisir dengan tetap membangun kualitas ekosistem melalui kerjasama, mengembangkan profesionalisme dalam pengelolaan dengan mengembangkan SDM pariwisata, meningkatkan perluasan promosi pada event-event tertentu, mengembangkan program pelestarian ekosistem pesisir, serta pembangunan terpadu dengan pemeliharaan yang rutin dan terkontrol.

Abstract

The problems in this study are as follows: How does the influence of room facilities on guest satisfaction at the IMA Kupang Hotel? Based on the formulation of the problem, the goal is to determine the effect of room facilities on guest satisfaction at Hotel IMA Kupang. This study uses Room Facilities as the independent variable and Guest Satisfaction as the dependent variable. This research was conducted at the IMA Kupang Hotel, the number of samples was 90 respondents using the simple random sampling technique. Field data collection using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the achievement variable for Room Facilities (X) is 1,919 with high criteria, the achievement variable for Guest Satisfaction (Y) is 2,208 with high criteria. The calculated t value for variable X is 12,258 while the t table value is 1,662, because the t calculated value is greater than t table (12,258 > 1,662) and the sig table shows a value of 0.000 which is smaller than the error rate of 0.1 (0.00 <0,1) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus the results of the Hypothesis test are Room Facilities have a significant effect on guest satisfaction at Hotel IMA Kupang. The results of the correlation analysis, obtained the value of R = 0.631ᵃ Square or the coefficient of determination which shows the influence of room facilities and guest satisfaction variables is relatively strong. The coefficient of determination is 0.631 or 63% and the remaining 37% is explained by other factors not examined.

Abstract

This study explores the critical connection between educational institutions and the regional tourism sector, focusing on Generation Z's role in implementing the Tourism Law in Kupang City. It highlights how the Tourism Department at Politeknik Negeri Kupang can prepare Generation Z for sustainable tourism development by aligning curricula with local industry needs and integrating technology and entrepreneurship. Based on Tourism Law No. 9 of 2010, educational institutions are pivotal in conducting research and supporting tourism policies. The study also emphasizes the importance of synergy among education, government, industry, and communities to achieve sustainable tourism growth. Its findings aim to provide a strategic guide for enhancing educational connectivity, effectively implementing tourism policies, and promoting community-based tourism to strengthen the local economy.

Abstract

The community as cottage business actors can support survival through business activities. The aim of this research is to analyze the Capacity Development of Community Cottage Tourism Business Actors. Using four indicators, namely knowledge, skills, behavior and motivation. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique for determining informants uses purposive techniques. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The main findings are that business capacity development has been carried out by the relevant agencies such as the East Central South District Tourism Office and the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Tourism Office through training programs, but has not been optimal in assisting and strengthening the community as Cottage business actors, while the skills possessed by the community are still minimal, related to community behavior and motivation are closely related, the community needs to improve themselves with the assistance of the relevant government agencies. And there is a need for motivation within business actors. The findings of this research relate to aspects of human resources. Community involvement really supports the development of community capacity as business actors. Contribution as a researcher is to continue to provide motivation and enthusiasm for the best service to visiting guests, and continue to learn to improve knowledge and skills to support the development of human resources in the Fatumnasi Cottage business community.
