Abstract

The diesel fuel injection system is very important and closely related to combustion in diesel motors. The injector is a component of the diesel fuel injection system that serves to atomizes the into the combustion chamber. The combustion process in diesel motors is depend on the results of the injector fuel carburetion. The proper of injector pressure will produce better fuel carburetion and better combustion. This research aims to determine how much influence the fuel pressure in the injector of diesel engine performance and opacity smoke by setting the variation is tie up right or left to lessen the adjusting screw to add or reduce the fuel pressure. Diesel engine used were isuzu panther 2300 cc. In this experiment used engine test bed, in which the machine is placed on a stand, and then connected to dynamometer. The muffler is connected to smoke test. The parameters measured is the power, torque, specific fuel of consumption (SFC), effective specific fuel of consumption (ESFC) and opacity smoke. The results of experiment is seen the increase of power and torque after variation, and maximum at a pressure of 130 bar have 40,4 kW at 2500 rpm, and 16,8 kg.m at 1500 rpm. Pressure at 130 bar is better than pressure of 110 bar and 120 bar. The descending of opacity smoke result is seen at a pressure of 120 bar and 130 which have lowest 17,2 % and 16,8 % of opacity smoke at 1500 rpm, more advance engine turning is more high opacity smoke. More high pressure of injector and engine turning have is increase torque, effective power and reduce exhaust emission levels in diesel engine. But while the pressure increase then more high fuel consumption.

Abstract

Abstract ASTM A36 low carbon steel is steel commonly used in construction, and the austenitic stainless steel 316L series is stainless steel with good corrosion resistance. Joining two dissimilar metals is unavoidable because it can provide good mechanical properties and resist corrosion at a low cost. This study studied the effect of variations in post-welding heating process temperature (PWHT) on mechanical properties and microstructure by shield metal arc welding (SMAW) low carbon steel ASTM A36 with ASTM A240 type 316L with a thickness of 6 mm with a single V connection and using an E308L-electrode. 16. The PWHT process was carried out to improve the weld results with variations in heating temperatures of 400, 600, and 900˚C with a holding time of 1 hour with 15% dromos quenching media. Testing mechanical properties includes hardness test using micro Vickers method on low carbon steel base metal, HAZ, weld metal, HAZ, and stainless steel base metal and impact test using Charpy method. Optical microscopes were used to study the microstructure of the area of the base metal, HAZ, and weld metal viewed using a laser scanning microscope. The test results show that the highest average hardness value in the weld metal area is in the specimen without PWHT with a value of 124.96 HV and samples with a PWHT temperature of 400˚C on the weld metal 121.63 HV and the lowest in the PWHT specimen 900˚C 76.17 HV. in the HAZ 316L area. The hardness value of the weld metal without PWHT and PWHT indicates that the hardness value is higher than the two-parent metals. While the impact test with PWHT specimens at 400˚C had higher impact energy than specimens without PWHT by 6.50 %, and the lowest was 16.26% at the optimum temperature of 900˚C, the shape of the samples showed ductile cracks.

Abstract

The decrease in public purchasing power within Indonesian society in 2024 has emerged as a critical issue that may precipitate a broader economic crisis. This study aims to examine the function of zakat in enhancing public purchasing power and fostering economic stability through wealth redistribution. Zakat, as an Islamic social financial mechanism, has the potential to mitigate income inequality by augmenting the financial resources of marginalized groups, thereby increasing their aggregate expenditure. This study utilizes a literature review approach, adhering to the PRISMA model to systematically identify and analyse relevant articles. The findings suggest that productive zakat, which prioritizes economic empowerment through the allocation of business capital and training, exerts a substantial influence on the long-term economic independence of its beneficiaries. Moreover, zakat operates as an automatic stabilizer within the economy, aiding in the maintenance of public purchasing power, particularly during periods of economic strain. This study corroborates the hypothesis that zakat functions as a mechanism for income redistribution and has a multiplier effect that increases demand for goods and services, thereby promoting inclusive economic growth. Therefore, zakat has the potential to function as a strategic solution for enhancing public purchasing power, maintaining economic stability, and strengthening overall socio-economic resilience. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Questions Students Have (QSH) method and its impact on increasing students’ learning interest in the subject of Aqidah and Akhlak. Low learning interest among students is often caused by teaching methods that do not actively engage them in the learning process. The QSH method encourages students’ participation and curiosity by providing opportunities to express questions that arise during learning activities. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected from principals, subject teachers, and students through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively to identify patterns and impacts of the QSH method. The results show that (1) the QSH method is implemented by distributing question sheets, allowing students to formulate questions individually, followed by group discussions; and (2) the method effectively increases learning interest, as reflected in students’ enthusiasm, attentiveness, willingness to ask questions, and active participation in discussions. Therefore, the QSH method can serve as an effective pedagogical strategy to foster students’ engagement and motivation in Aqidah and Akhlak learning.
