Abstract

Karya sastra Bali modern adalah salah satu genre sastra yang berkembang cukup baik selain sastra klasik. Karya sastra Bali modern menjadi pilihan banyak pengarang muda dalam berkarya, diantaranya adalah I Made Sugianto dengan kumpulan cerpen terbarunya Event Orgenizer. Kumpulan cerpen ini menyajikan berbagi peristiwa yang menggambarkan praktik-praktik sosio-kultural di Bali. Memalui karyanya, I Made Sugianto mencoba menyuguhkan betapa praktik sosio-kultural di Bali kini menemui banyak sekali problematika. Persinggungan antara mempertahankan tradisi dan menjalani modernisasi yang identik dengan segala kemudahan menjadi tema besar dalam kumpulan cerpen ini. Pengarang menyampaikan kritik sosial, pesan moral, serta kegelisahannya pada praktik sosio-kultural Bali melalui tokoh-tokohnya. Kritik sosial ini disampaikan dengan bahasa yang lugas tanpa kesan untuk canggung melakukan oto-kritik pada masyarakat Bali. Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 meruapakan wabah yang merubah tatanan kehidupan masyarakat diseluruh dunia atau disebut dengan new normal. Masyarakat diwajibkan hidup dalam new normal untuk tetap bisa menjaga kesehatan dan keselamatan jiwa mereka. Covid 19 berdampak sangat  berat bagi perekonomian terutama yang mengandalkan perekonomian dalam sektor pariwisata. Belum ditemukannya antivirus untuk covid 19 ini menambah kecemasan masyarakat untuk beraktivitas. Untuk itulah pemerintah mengambil kebijakan penerapan kehidupan new normal dalam menjalankan aktivitas biasa di luar rumah dengan menerapkan protokal tetap pencegahan penyebaran covid 19. Tidak terkecuali sektor pariwisata, penyempurnaan sistem sanitasi dan pariwisata yang mengutamakan kesehatan dan keselamatan (self-distancing) terus diupayakan untuk memberikan rasa nyaman kepada para wisatawan

Abstract

Modern Balinese literature is one of the fields of classification in the world of Balinese literature. Balinese literary works that were born in the modern era or after the inclusion of foreign cultural influences in Balinese literary works are called modern Balinese literature. At the beginning of its emergence in the pre-independence era, modern Balinese literature was conceived by teacher teachers who served in formal schools established by the Dutch colonial. The early works of these teachers became a milestone in the birth of modern Balinese literature. Narrative texts written by I Made Pasek and Mas Niti Sastro became the initial embryos of Balinese short stories. In the form of some narrative texts they have presented a very modern form, no longer similar to the form of narrative doengeng or folklore. Then in content, the value content offered by the author is a very modern value content, not merely the values ??of tradition.

Abstract

Women have been filling the literary space of modern Balinese literature as an object of storytelling. The role and appearance of women who have been in the hegemony of patriaki has always been interesting to talk about from a feminist point of view. The novel trilogy of Sembalun Rinjani is one of the modern Balinese literary novels depicting the position of women in a multicultural society. This novel by Djelantik Santha reflects the duality of the struggle of female characters in multicultural society to escape from the stigma of inferior creatures, as well as the image of female characters who still survive in the hegemony of patriaki.

Abstract

Cultural and gastronomic tourism are potential options to be developed in Timbrah Traditional Village, Karangasem Regency. The Timbrah Traditional Village has a Usaba Sumbu ceremony which is held once a year with a procession that takes up to one week. The potential for implementing Usaba Sumbu as a tourist destination can be seen from the cultural attractions, culinary activities carried out by the community, as well as the potential for the development of craft crafts of the Timbrah traditional village community. The various cultural components summarized in Usaba Sumbu are utilized and supported by adequate accessibility, supporting facilities and supporting services.Keywords, Usaba Sumbu, cultural tourism, gastronomic tourism

Abstract

Cultural commodification that occurs in the components of Balinese culture is one of the attractions of young writers of modern Balinese Literature. The phenomenon of the commodification of culture then becomes one of the choices of idea for their work and becomes their response as part of the social community. The massive commodification of Balinese culture produces tension and  negotiation among the individuals within the Balinese community. Through modern Balinese literary authors, socio-cultural reflections in the community as the effect of  cultural commodification can be read carefully.

Abstract

Cendera mata adalah buah tangan yang sering kali menjadi bagian tidak terpisahkan dalam sebuah perjalanan wisata. Cendera mata identik dengan idendtitas objek wisata serta mampu menghadirkan kekhasan yang membawa memori pada objek wisata tersebut. Lontar prasi sebagai salah satu kekayaan naskah di Bali memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk dapat menjadi cendera mata dalam dunia pariwisata di Bali. Lontar prasi secara historis telah menjadi bagian perkembangan pariwisata di Bali sebagai cendera mata. Kekhasan prasi dari sisi material maupun teknik pembuatan mampu mewakili kekhasan etnik Bali dari sisi seni visual dan budaya literasi. Kekuatan prasi ada pada fitur-fitur visual yang dihadirkan pada ruang yang relatif kecil, yaitu pada lembaran lontar. Visualisasi figur-figur khas Bali dalam lontar prasi mampu menghadirkan identitas etnik Bali dalam sebuah cendera mata.

Abstract

Covid 19 pandemic is a plague that changes the order of people's lives around the world otherwise it is called the new normal. The people are required to live in a new normal life with the intention that they can maintain their mental health and safety. Covid 19 has a very serious impact on the economy, especially those who rely on the economy in the tourism sector. The unavailability of the antivirus for Covid 19 which has not discovered yet increases the anxiety of the people to do their activities. For this reason, the government adopted a policy of implementing new normal life in carrying out ordinary activities outside the home by implementing permanent protections to prevent the spread of Covid 19. The purpose of this study a) to see the fluctuation of tourist visits to Bali before the pandemic; b) compared with tourist visit levels during the pandemic and; c) looking at the strategies of various stakeholders in recovering Bali tourism. This research data collection method is literature study, with secondary data. The results of this study see several strategies for restoring Bali tourism in the new normal, including applying adequate hygiene and safety standards for tourists, providing alternative travel patterns: staycation, niche tourism, solo travel tours, wellness tours, virtual tourism.
