Abstract

Democratization in every aspect of life as well as the impact of the demandsof the process of political change is considered positive or negative impactfor changes in society, especially for developing countries, which are intransition to developed countries to be desired, which characterized theopenness of society. A country that is also expected to provide assurance andcompliance for penyejahteraan society (welfare state). This article intendsto describe theoretically the political concept of plurality in the context ofIndonesian society follows the role of the media in achieving democratizationand strengthening civil society.Keywords: political plurality, the democratization of the media, civil society

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to knowing the meaning of social politic criticism message that caricaturist and criticism image in his creation caricatural at Jawa Pos news paper at October until January 2015.This research used a descriptive kualitative research method, with primary data that collect from documentation, whereas the secondary data collect from literature and jurnal that was relevant with this research objek. The gathered data will be analyse by C.S Pierce semiotic theory that more focused to the Object level that fine sign on Icon, Index, Symbol. Analyse data served in naratif realism text.The result of the research showing that criticism image with caricature 100 Days Jokowi’s government defined with criticism message about Jokowi’s decision through all they talking with implicit meaning from Clekit caricature icon that is a man with a white cap who comented to every event that happen, not any more images of Jokowi’s caricature an figure rulers.Keyword: Social Politic Critism , Caricature, Semiotic.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn a modern political competition that is open and transparent, contestants need amethod that can facilitate the distribution of political products, such as new ideas, issues, partyideology, programs and leadership characteristics to the public. In order to win the election, theyshould be able to apply new political communication strategies that are more oriented to voters,and understand how this can be applied by implementing marketing strategies to promote thecandidate and their political values. However, the use of political marketing has an influence onthe health of democracy. Some scholars believe that it brings about benefits to the democracysystem. In spite of these positif impacts the use of political marketing has drawbacks as well.Keywords: Political Marketing, Political Campaign, Democracy

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase the elementary school students' understanding of nutrition and health, especially in terms of stunting in Gili Timur Village. The society needs to encourage their awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem affecting children's physical and cognitive growth, which can be prevented with early education. The socialization program carried out by KKN-Tematic students involved 4th and 5th grade students in elementary school with an interactive approach, interesting learning media, and participatory discussions. The results of this program showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the causes, impacts, and prevention of stunting. In addition, students gained insight into the importance of a balanced health upon the food and drink consumed. It is expected that this program contributes to efforts to reduce stunting rates and improve the quality of health of future generations.
