Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh komitmen organisasi yang ada pada PD BPR Garut yang dikategorikan belum optimal karena masih banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Hal ini dilihat dari adanya beberapa gejala masalah yang terjadi di PD BPR Garut yaitu kurangya penghargaan yang diberikan perusahan, rendahnya tingkat kehadiran atau absensi, kurangnya tanggung jawab terhadap tugas dan kewajiban yang diberikan perusahaan dan rendahnya keinginan karyawan untuk menetap diperusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran motivasi kerja karyawan, untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran semangat kerja karyawan dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran komitmen organisasi, untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi, untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh semangat kerja terhadap komitmen oganisasi, dan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh motivasi kerja dan semangat kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi pada PD BPR Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan motode pendekatan deskriptif dan asosiatif. Pengumpalan data dilakukan degan wawancara, observasi dan kuisioner atau angket kepada responden sebanyak 38 orang yang tidak lain adalah pegawai PD BPR Garut bagian account officer Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi sederhana dengan menggunakan rumus rank spearman diketahui bahwa pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat kuat dengan nilai = 0,822 dan koefisien determanasi 67,5%. Selanjutnya semangat kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi mempunyai pengaruh sangat kuat dengan nilai = 0,811 dan koefisien determinasi 65,7%. Selanjutnya pengaruh motivasi kerja dan semangat kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi mempunyai pengaruh sangat kuat dengan nilai = 0,830 dan koefisien determinasi 68,8% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the performance of employees at J&T Express Garut 01 (PT. Global Jet Express) which is categorized as not optimal because there are still many influencing factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work stress and workload on the performance of the study courier division employees at J&T Express Garut 01 (PT. Global Jet Express) partially and simultaneously. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive and associative approach. The population is 33 couriers (sales), all of which are used as saturated samples. Based on the simple correlation test analysis, the effect of work stress variable (X1) on employee performance (Y) has a strong/close relationship that is equal to r = 0.622. From the simple correlation test, the effect of the workload variable (X2) on employee performance (Y) has a fairly strong/close enough relationship that is equal to r = 0.548. From the multiple correlation test, the effect of work stress (X1) and workload (X2) on employee performance (Y) has a fairly strong/close enough relationship that is equal to r = 0.591. The coefficient of determination test or R square is 0.420, which means that 42% of employee performance variables can be influenced by work stress and workload variables

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the work environment on the work spirit of study employees at PT. ultimate metal mandala. The research methods used are descriptive and causal associative methods. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires, interviews, observation and literature study. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are validity and reliability tests, Correlation Coefficient Test analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of research by testing the correlation between Work Environment variables and Work Morale, a Spearman Rank correlation was obtained of 0.649. The correlation coefficient is in the "Strong" interval because it is located in the interval 0.600-0.799, so it can be interpreted that the influence of the Work Environment on Work Morale at PT Mandala Logam Utama has a strong influence. Meanwhile, the magnitude of the influence exerted by the Work Environment and Work Morale can be seen from the coefficient of determination of 0.499 or 49% and the remaining 51% is influenced by other factors which were not researched. Then the results of testing the hypothesis of the influence of the Work Environment on Work Morale obtained a value > equal to 7259 > 2260 and a significant value of 0.00 < 0.10, then it can be concluded that it is rejected and accepted. This means that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on work morale.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of work ethic on employee performance at the Garut Regency Library and Archives Service. The type of research used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive method approach and an associative method. The population in this study was 43 people, with a total of employees of the Garut Regency Library and Archives Service. Data collection techniques and tools are interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. The data analysis technique used is in the form of statistical formulas in the form of validity tests, reliability tests, correlation coefficient tests, determination coefficient tests, and hypothesis coefficient tests. Based on the results of the correlation test, a result of 0.610 was obtained, which is in the "strong" interval. The determination test results obtained were 37.2%. The results of the hypothesis test, the tcount value (4.928) can be compared with the ttable value (0.05;df) or (0.05;43-2) of 1.683. In accordance with the t-count value t-table or 4.928 1.683 or the Sig value of 0.000 is smaller than Alpha 0.05 then: H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that work ethic has a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of human resource (HR) competency, management control systems, leadership, and trust on financial performance at Perumda BPR Garut. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were carried out to understand the relationship between these variables. The research results show that HR competency does not have a significant influence on financial performance, but has a positive and significant relationship with leadership and trust. The management control system shows a positive and significant influence on financial performance, leadership and trust. Leadership does not show a significant relationship with financial performance, while trust shows a positive and significant relationship with financial performance. In the mediating role, leadership does not mediate the influence of HR competency on financial performance, while trust mediates the influence of the management control system on financial performance. This research emphasizes the importance of effective management control systems and building trust in organizations to improve financial performance. These findings provide guidance for managers and organizational leaders in designing holistic strategies to achieve financial and operational success.

Abstract

Objective: Improving the quality of human resources (HR) of education personnel is crucial to supporting an effective and productive higher education system. This study aims to analyze the effect of recruitment, Training, welfare, and performance evaluation on the effectiveness and productivity of education personnel in Garut Regency universities.Methodology: This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and causal designs. The population consisted of all education personnel in Garut Regency universities, with a sample of 271 respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS software.Findings: The results showed that recruitment, Training, and performance evaluation positively and significantly affect the effectiveness and productivity of higher education personnel. These three factors are key in improving performance through HR planning, competency development, and performance-based evaluation. Meanwhile, welfare does not show a significant effect, indicating that structural and managerial factors are more decisive than material in resource-limited universities such as the Garut Regency. This finding confirms the importance of strategic HR governance in supporting higher education quality improvement.Conclusion: These results confirm that HR management strategies that focus on competency-based recruitment, relevant Training, and structured performance evaluation are critical to improving the effectiveness and productivity of education personnel, especially in resource-constrained regions. The practical implication is that universities in areas such as Garut must prioritize the capacity building of education personnel through contextual and sustainable HR management policies.

Abstract

A comfortable work environment is one of the important factors in creating employee job satisfaction. High job satisfaction not only improves employee well-being but also contributes to organisational productivity and performance. This study aims to analyse the effect of work environment on employee job satisfaction at PD. Sutera Alam Soleh (SAS) Garut. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive and associative approaches. The research population is all employees of PD. Sutera Alam Soleh (SAS) Garut which amounted to 80 people, with a saturated sample technique, so that the entire population was used as a sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire containing 18 statement items related to work environment variables and job satisfaction. This research was conducted in Garut in 2024. The results showed that the work environment has a significant influence on employee job satisfaction. Factors such as lighting, cleanliness, air temperature, and good working relationships are proven to support the creation of more optimal job satisfaction. Support from colleagues and superiors is also an important element in building motivation and a conducive work atmosphere. This research implies that companies need to improve the physical and social aspects of the work environment to encourage employee well-being. Future research is recommended to expand the variables and objects of research in order to obtain more comprehensive results.
