Abstract

This study aims to reveal, first, the use of Dewantara Kirti Griya Museum as a learning resource for Civic Education to encourage creative thinking; second, the obstacles encountered in using it as a learning resource for Civic Education to encourage creative thinking; and the third, efforts made to overcome these obstacles. In this study using a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Determination of research subjects using a purposive technique, for collection data is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by interactive analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results show that, first, Dewantara Kirti Griya Museum can be used as a learning resource for Civic Education through collections, buildings and activities held at the Dewantara Kirti Griya Museum. Second, the obstacles encountered are the lack of museum educators and the insufficient area of the museum building for a large number of visitors. Third, efforts to overcome these obstacles are by utilizing technology, namely providing barcodes in museum collections and using the Grand Hall for activities that invite many participants.

Abstract

Introduction: Pneumonia is an infection or acute inflammation of the lung tissue caused by various microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, exposure to chemicals, or physical damage to the lungs. Pneumonia usually affects children, but it can be prevented by vaccine PCV. Based on the above, researchers are interested in conducting a study entitled “Influence Level Of Parental Knowledge Of Pneumonia And Immunization Pneumococcal Conjugate (PCV) In Integrated Healthcare Center Camelia.” Objective: Knowing the influence level of parental knowledge of pneumonia and immunization pneumococcal conjugate (PCV) in Integrated Healthcare Center Camelia.” Methods: The study used cross-sectional and purposive sampling with a sample of 36 people. Data techniques are included in univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using statistical calculations of SPSS programs. Results: Results showed that there was a significant level of parental knowledge of pneumonia, with p-value (0,026) < α (0,05) showing that there were significant differences in the level of parental knowledge of pneumonia. and immunization pneumococcal conjugate (PCV). Discussion: There is a significant influence on the level of parental knowledge of pneumonia and immunization pneumococcal conjugate (PCV). It is hoped that it will increase the knowledge of parents so that the coverage of immunization completeness is fulfilled, especially PCV immunization.

Abstract

The relationship between the philosophy of science and education plays a crucial role in shaping the capacity of future generations to think critically and solve problems effectively. Philosophy of science, as a discipline that explores the foundations, methods, and implications of scientific knowledge, offers a framework for understanding how knowledge is constructed and how it can be applied in solving real-world problems. In the context of education, it serves as a cornerstone for fostering analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and reflective inquiry. This paper examines how philosophical perspectives on science can inform educational practices that nurture critical and solution-oriented thinking. By integrating philosophical insights into the curriculum, educators can promote an environment that encourages students to question assumptions, evaluate evidence, and develop innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. Ultimately, the integration of philosophy of science into education not only enhances intellectual growth but also equips students with the tools needed to address the complex issues facing society today. This relationship is essential in preparing a generation that is capable of navigating the rapidly changing world with a mindset grounded in inquiry, adaptability, and ethical reasoning.

Abstract

Age holds a significant role in second language acquisition (SLA). Several research shows that the ability to learn a second language decreases when someome gets older. This study reviewed relevant studies on the effect of age on second language acquisition in order to achieve the best results since language learning methods should be adapted to the learner’s age level and specific needs. The results explained that younger learners are more adept at mastering a second language due to their brain's plasticity, which allows them to learn new information quickly. They can easily acquire the language’s grammar, vocabulary, and prnounciation through immersion and exposure. As learners age, their ability to learn a second language decreases. After adolescence, the brain becomes less plastic, and the acquisition of second language becomes more challenging. Research also pointed out that language also has a positive influences on a country’s economic development, as well as improving the international relations of local entrepreneurs. However, adult learners can still learn a second language, but it may take more their time and effort. Moreover, the learning strategies and motivation that learners applied in learning the second language also play an important role in second language acquisition (SLA). Beginners may not have a solid motivation to learn a second language, while adult learners may have a stronger motivation due to professional or personal reasons. Age is a crucial factor in second language acquisition, but it is not the only factor that determines the success of language use. The learner’s learning strategies, exposure, and motivation to the second language also play a significant role in the acquisition of a second language.

Abstract

The aim of this research is determine the extent to which learning using multiple representations is able to improve students' problem solving abilities in Newton's Second Law. The research subjects consisted of 24 students of class X 1 Senior High School 8 Malang. This research uses an instrument in the form of an integrated concept mastery test with problem solving abilities consisting of 6 multiple choice questions accompanied by reasons, an interview guide and a problem solving observation sheet. The approach to this research is mixed methods with an embedded experimental model design. The research results show that using multiple representations can increase students' problem solving abilities from an average of 1.1 approaching level 1 (inadequate) to 2.2 approaching level 2 (need some improvement). Learning with multiple representations can also change students from novice behavior to experts in problem solving Newton's Second Law

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how human relations variables, rewards, and punishments affect the performance improvement of steel pipe employees of PT Wijaya Prima Baja Indonesia. In this descriptive quantitative study, a random sampling method was used, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Distribution of questionnaires to collect data This study tested the validity, rehabilitation, normality, linearity, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multiple linear regression, t, f, and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the human relations study showed that compensation improved employee performance, punishment improved employee performance, and rewards improved employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable Learning Model (PAIKEM) on the creativity of Eighth Grade students in the subject matter of Light and Optical Instruments at MTsN 3 Blitar. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasy experimental design, specifically the Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population of this study was all students of MTsN 3 Blitar, with a sample consisting of 32 students from Class VIII B as the experimental class and 34 students from Class VIII D as the control class. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The data collection instruments used were the Creativity Test and Documentation. Prior to use, validity and reliability tests were conducted. The results showed that there is an influence of the Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable Learning Model (PAIKEM) on the creativity of Eighth Grade students in the subject matter of Light and Optical Instruments at MTsN 3 Blitar, which is evidenced by the sig. value of 0.000<0.05. Thus, H0  is rejected and Ha  is accepted, and the tcount  and ttable  values obtained are 5.142>1.997(tcount >ttable ). ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Aktif Inovatif Kreatif Efektif dan Menyenangkan (PAIKEM) terhadap Kreativitas Peserta Didik Kelas VIII pada Materi Cahaya dan Alat Optik di MTsN 3 Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasy experimental dengan Post-test Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik MTsN 3 Blitar dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah 32 peserta didik kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 34 peserta didik kelas VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sempel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah Tes kreativitas, dan Dokumentasi. Sebelum digunakan, perlu dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas terlebih dulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Aktif Inovatif Kreatif Efektif dan Menyenangkan (PAIKEM) terhadap Kreativitas Peserta Didik Kelas VIII pada Materi Cahaya dan Alat Optik di MTsN 3 Blitar yang dibuktikan dengan nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian ditolak H0 diterima Ha dan nilai  thitung  dan ttabel diperoleh 5,142 > 1,997 = thitung  > ttabel
