Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan alat peraga blok aljabar beserta prosedur penggunaannya sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam memberikan pemahaman konsep aljabar khususnya pemfaktoran persamaan kuadrat. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini terdiri dari tahapan penyajian materi berupa konsep dan teori alat peraga blok aljabar, demonstrasi penggunaan alat peraga blok aljabar, praktik penggunaan alat peraga blok aljabar secara berkelompok yang dilakukan oleh peserta pengabdian, serta diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar ditandai dengan respon peserta yang terlihat antusias dan bersemangat dalam mempelajari penggunaan alat peraga blok aljabar.Abstract: This Community Service activity aims to introduce algebraic block teaching aids and their use procedures as learning media that can be used by teachers in providing understanding of algebraic concepts, especially factoring in quadratic equations. The implementation method of this service consists of the stages of presentation of material in the form of concepts and theories of algebraic block teaching aids, demonstration of the use of algebraic block teaching aids, the practice of using a group of algebraic teaching aids in groups carried out by devoted participants, as well as discussions and questions and answers. The implementation of this service activity went well and smoothly marked by the response of participants who seemed enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning the use of algebraic block teaching aids

Abstract

Dalam merancang pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika, dibutuhkan kemampuan guru dalam menentukan model-model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi dan karakteristik peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Penerapan pembelajaran matematika di sekolah pada umumnya masih didominasi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru. Guru-guru masih jarang menerapkan modelpembelajaran yang bervariasi pada proses pembelajaran matematika. Oleh karena itu, solusi yang ditawarkan berupa kegiatan pelatihan model-model pembelajaran bagi guru-guru matematika SMP Sekabupaten Banjar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Materi yang diberikan berupa 1) pengertian model pembelajaran beserta kaitannya dengan pendekatan, strategi, dan metode pembelajaran; 2) jenis-jenis model pembelajaran yaitu Quick on the draw dan SAVI. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar dan mendorong guru-guru matematika SMP sekabupaten Banjar untuk memperluas pengetahuan mereka mengenai jenis-jenis model pembelajaran untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the factors that cause junior high school students to have difficulty in learning mathematics online. This type of research is a quantitative research, the method used in this research is descriptive by using a student response questionnaire instrument in the form of a Google Form which contains 12 statements derived from several indicators. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Mandastana, totaling 31 students. The results of this study indicate that students' difficulties with online learning are relatively low with a percentage level of 41%, there is only one indicator that shows students' difficulties in online learning, namely the attitude indicator with a percentage of 60%. So it can be concluded that students are pretty good at online learning even though it is seen from the google form data that there are still obstacles that students experience in carrying out online mathematics learning but it does not give more influence.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa serta sebagai bentuk pengabdian dalam memberikan sumbangan keilmuan kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan kalkulator jari general yang dikembangkan dari kalkulator ekonomis jari tangan. Sasaran pelatihan merupakan siswa kelas V dan VI SDN Tamban Muara 1. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap pertama dimana tim pelaksana memberikan penjelasan dan demo penggunaan kalkulator jari general, tahap kedua yaitu siswa diminta untuk mencoba melakukan perhitungan perkalian menggunakan kalkulator jari general, dan tahap ketiga yaitu tim pelaksana memberikan kuis tanya jawab kepada siswa. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar.

Abstract

The problem of malnutrition in a child's golden period can result in stunting which becomes a problem in the child's growth and development phase. In 2023, Barito Kuala Regency will occupy first place with the highest stunting rate of the 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan province. One of the villages that is still above the stunting threshold is Sungai Lirik Village, Bakumpai District, Barito Kuala. Reducing stunting rates can begin by paying attention to childhood, which is a crucial and responsive period for every child to the surrounding environment. Not only food with balanced nutrition, but also other supporting factors that can influence children's growth and development. An experience that can create self-confidence and a positive attitude by involving fine motor skills through children's freedom to be creative so that development grows optimally. Activities that can support children's physical motoric involvement are through drawing media and puzzle media. The target of this activity is children in Sungai Lirik village aged 4 to 12 years with a total of 15 children participating. Activities were carried out using puzzle image media and booklet media through a community service program in Sungai Lirik village. The educational approach while playing can make it easier and more fun for children so that it will make it easier to process the information they absorb due to the happy feelings they feel. Apart from that, the use of visual media for children so that they understand and understand more about healthy food is a form of prevention effort against stunting which is often experienced by children who are experiencing the process of growth and development in the optimal phase in the future.

Abstract

Changes in government policy that abolished the national exam into a national assessment have an impact on teacher competencies that must be developed in preparing matters related to the national assessment. The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) field focuses on literacy and numeracy activities. Literacy is not only related to text but can be in the form of symbols, numbers, charts or graphs. Based on the results of research on AKM, it was stated that 12 out of 44 teachers as respondents had not yet prepared for AKM. Therefore, training to improve teacher competence in making AKM questions that focus on student numeracy needs to be carried out. This service was held at SMPN 1 Martapura and was attended by 30 teachers who were members of the Mathematics MGMP for SMPN Banjar Regency. The material presented in this activity was about the meaning and purpose of AKM, AKM components, forms of AKM questions, numeracy competency levels and links to AKM questions from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The results of the evaluation with a score of 4.13 for PkM participants showed that the participants were very satisfied with the training carried out.
