Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan alat peraga blok aljabar beserta prosedur penggunaannya sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam memberikan pemahaman konsep aljabar khususnya pemfaktoran persamaan kuadrat. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini terdiri dari tahapan penyajian materi berupa konsep dan teori alat peraga blok aljabar, demonstrasi penggunaan alat peraga blok aljabar, praktik penggunaan alat peraga blok aljabar secara berkelompok yang dilakukan oleh peserta pengabdian, serta diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar ditandai dengan respon peserta yang terlihat antusias dan bersemangat dalam mempelajari penggunaan alat peraga blok aljabar.Abstract: This Community Service activity aims to introduce algebraic block teaching aids and their use procedures as learning media that can be used by teachers in providing understanding of algebraic concepts, especially factoring in quadratic equations. The implementation method of this service consists of the stages of presentation of material in the form of concepts and theories of algebraic block teaching aids, demonstration of the use of algebraic block teaching aids, the practice of using a group of algebraic teaching aids in groups carried out by devoted participants, as well as discussions and questions and answers. The implementation of this service activity went well and smoothly marked by the response of participants who seemed enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning the use of algebraic block teaching aids
