Abstract

Agro-industry is one of the sectors capable of increasing the income of agribusiness actors. The cassava chips business in Gunug Kawi Malang is one of the cassava agro-industries located in Andongsari Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency. The purpose of this study was to look at internal and external factors in the Gunung Kawi Malang chips business and to see what alternative strategies were suitable for the Gunung Kawi Malang chips business. This study uses the method of Internal Matrix Analysis (IFE) and External Matrix (EFE) to see what factors exist within the company (strengths and weaknesses) or those outside the company (opportunities and threats), Internal External Matrix (IE). how the company works and the SWOT matrix to develop alternative strategies that will be used for the company. From the research results, there are 10 internal factors of the company, while for the external factors of the company there are 10 factors. From the results of the IE matrix, it shows that the business rank of Gunung Kawi Malang cassava chips is in cell V, namely guard and maintain. Abstract

Currently the world is shocked by the emergence of COVID-19 which has forced the government to adopt policies to minimize transmission of the virus, by reducing activities outside the home. In the midst of this pandemic, many people are starting to try something new or an interesting side, to relieve fatigue at home. One of them is a side interest in collecting various ornamental plants. A new hobby during this pandemic, many people buy various types of ornamental plants, for example in Ajung Village, Kalisat District, many people care for and buy ornamental plants. The purpose of this research is to find out what income or strategy is used by the ornamental plant business in sales at the Naraya Garden flower shop. The selection of the research location was carried out purposively, or at least deliberately considering the pre-survey being led. And based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average income before and during the pandemic. And the strategy that must be applied in this condition is to support an aggressive growth policy. The strategies that will be carried out are: Conduct socialization/training to attract the younger generation. To produce quality products, land expansion is carried out to increase the number of workers.

Abstract

Bondowoso Regency is an area that has one of the potential villages, namely oyster mushrooms, especially in Cindogo Village, Tapen District. Even though Tapen District, especially in Cindogo Village, is a village that has a lot of potential such as brass crafts, Cindogo batik and its oyster mushroom business, Cindogo Village, Tapen District still has several obstacles that must be faced in terms of human resources (HR), which are still few, especially for businesses. Mushrooms that are still in little demand or are still only a few who cultivate them. So we need a way to develop and expand public knowledge about the cultivation of oyster mushroom business. The marketing mix applied to Mr Hariyansyah's mushroom business has not fully implemented the 7P marketing mix strategy properly and correctly. For example, in product packaging there is no labeling nor is the packaging less attractive, promoting products has not utilized social media, and there is also no bookkeeping, this shows that Mr. Hariyansyah's business is still classified as not fully implementing the marketing mix or marketing strategy. In the SWOT analysis, the internal/external development strategy within and outside the mushroom business owned by Mr. Hariyansyah has differences in comparison of internal factors, namely strengths and weaknesses and also differences in external factors, opportunities and threats.

Abstract

Soybeans are basically processed by the community into semi-finished foods, namely tempeh and tofu, and also into ready-to-eat foods such as soy milk. The people of Jember have a good interest in soy milk, as can be seen from the market share in Jember Regency which is quite good. MSME soy milk entrepreneurs located in Jember still produce it traditionally. Apart from that, the packaging and labeling used is still simple using plastic, so research into soy milk processing is needed to increase the added value of the product. One of the soy milk derivative products is ice cream. The aim of this research was to determine the overrun and melting power of soy milk ice cream and to determine the organoleptic properties of soy milk ice cream. Based on the results of organoleptic test calculations, the variable color, aroma, taste and texture that has a significant influence on the liking of soy milk ice cream is aroma because it has an F Hit value of 3.84 > F Tab 5% 3.19, which means it has an influence. The second most significant preference for soy milk ice cream is the flavor which has an F Hit value of 7.71 > F Tab 1% 5.08 and F Tab 5% 3.19. Which means it has a very real influence on the preference for soy milk ice cream.

Abstract

Salah satu wilayah di Jember yang petaninya menanam padi Organik mentik susu yaitu di Ledokombo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sumber Salak Ledokombo karena jenis varietas yang ditanam petani disini  adalah Mentik Susu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui biaya produksi, penerimaan, pendapatan dan kelayakan usaha tani serta strategi pengembangan usaha tani padi organik Mentik susu di Kenconowungu. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, Hasil rata-rata penerimaan usaha tani padi organik kelompok tani Kenconowungu di Desa Sumber Salak sebesar Rp 26.100.000. dan biaya yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp 8.685.309, maka pendapatan yang diterima petani padi organik kelompok tani Kenconowungu di Desa Sumber Salak sebesar Rp 17.414.691 per-tahunnya. Kelayakan usahatani padi organik mentik susu selama satu tahun sebesar 3,1 yang berarti lebih dari 1, yang disimpulkan bahwa usahatani padi organic mentik susu layak diusahakan. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan posisi diagram matriks SWOT berada di kuadran I yaitu strategi agresif yang hasilnya menguntungkan.
