Abstract

This research is motivated by the many gender deviations in Blitar Regency in the last ten years that men dominate more than women, both in work, education, and politics. This situation causes gender development to be important by creating equality between men and women in Blitar Regency. The method to analyze the effect of gender on the Gender Development Index used in this study is Nonparametric Spline Linear Truncated Mixed Regression and Kernel Function with eight predictor variables. The results obtained from the nonparametric Spline Linear Truncated Mixed Regression model and the Kernel Function are the numbers of cases of violence against women (x1), the number of female labor force participation rates (x2), sex ratio (x3), the number of female elementary school enrollment rates (x4), total female middle school participation rate (x5), female high school participation rate (x6), and female illiteracy rate (x7) affect the Gender Development Index (y) in Blitar Regency. The number of women's participation in government institutions (x8) has no effect on the Gender Development Index (y) in Blitar Regency. The value of adjusted R square (R2), or the coefficient of determination, was obtained at 0.998. This means that GPA is influenced by eight predictor variables (x) of 99.8% and 0.2% is explained by other variables..  Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan banyaknya penyimpangan gender di Kabupaten Blitar dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir ini dalam hal pemahaman bahwa laki-laki lebih mendominasi daripada perempuan, baik dalam bidang pekerjaan, pendidikan, maupun politik. Keadaan ini menyebabkan pembangunan gender menjadi penting untuk dilakukan dengan menciptakan kesetaraan antara laki-laki dan perempuan di Kabupaten Blitar. Metode untuk menganalisis pengaruh gender terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Gender yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu regresi campuran nonparametrik spline linier truncated dan fungsi kernel dengan delapan variabel prediktor. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dari model regresi campuran nonparametrik spline linier truncated dan fungsi kernel adalah jumlah Kasus Kekerasan Terhadap Perempuan (x1), jumlah Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja Perempuan (x2), Rasio Jenis Kelamin (x3), jumlah Angka Partisipasi Sekolah SD perempuan (x4), jumlah Angka Partisipasi Sekolah SMP perempuan (x5), jumlah Angka Partisipasi Sekolah SMA perempuan (x6), dan Angka Buta Huruf perempuan (x7) berpengaruh terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Gender (y) di Kabupaten Blitar. Jumlah Partisipasi Perempuan di Lembaga Pemerintah (x8) tidak berpengaruh terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Gender (y) di Kabupaten Blitar. Nilai adjusted R square (R2), atau koefisien determinasi, diperoleh sebesar 0,998. Hal ini berarti IPG dipengaruhi oleh delapan variabel prediktor (x) sebesar 99,8% dan 0,2% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the mathematical connection capacity of students in Calculus I by applying the ARIAS learning model based on a contextual approach. The instrument used to determine the increase in students' mathematical connections in this study is the activity observation sheet and the test of learning outcomes. While during the learning process, the discussion with the function material is used. This research has two cycles in which each consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. In the previous learning, the preliminary tests were given to the students, as a previous reflection. The results of pre-reflection learning showed that 63% had not yet completed a score of ≥75. The results of the study show that ARIAS learning models based on contextual approaches can gradually increase students' mathematical connection skills. This is based on the results of increased student activity and the results of an increase in learning tests in cycles I and II. The percentage of student activity is 80.70% (good category). The student's activity is 86.40% (good category) in cycle II. The student's connection capacity in the first cycle is 10.16 (good category) and a score of 12.79 (excellent category) in the second cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk optimasi keuntungan produksi kue kering di Home Industry Comod Cookies dengan membentuk program linier yang fungsi tujuannya yaitu memaksimumkan keuntungan produksi 7 jenis kue kering dan fungsi kendala berupa bahan baku produk kue kering dalam kemasan 250 gram dan jumlah produk kue kering yang dihasilkan. Data yang digunakan dalam optimasi ini yaitu data produksi kue kering di Home Industry Comod Cookies pada tahun 2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam optimasi ini, yaitu metode Kuhn-Tucker. Hasil penyelesaian optimasi keuntungan produksi kue kering dengan metode Kuhn-Tucker yaitu keuntungan yang maksimal/tertinggi sebesar Rp. 21.122.500,00 dalam produksi 7 jenis kue kering, yang meliputi Rambutan Cookies sebanyak 500 kemasan,Cheerful Chips sebanyak 900 kemasan, Laugh Nut sebanyak 250 kemasan, Snowny Cheese sebanyak 300 kemasan, Cheese Cookies sebanyak 300 kemasan, Happy Corn sebanyak 500 kemasan, dan Nastar Cookies sebanyak 500 kemasan. Berdasarkan hasil penyelesaian optimasi dapat diberikan kesimpulan bahwa keuntungan/laba produksi kue kering di Home Industry Comod Cookies sudah optimal.

Abstract

This study discusses the dominant factors that influence the success of learning nahwu shorof at the Roudlotul Mutaalimin Islamic Boarding School for the daughter of Minggirsari Village. Determining the dominant factor is done to maximize the quality of education in the boarding school, so that the interest of prospective students is increasing. In this study, two extraction methods were compared, namely the Principal Axis Factoring and Maximum Likelihood methods. There are 13 variables that affect the success of nahwu shorof learning, namely the natural environment (P1), social environment (P23), curriculum (P49), madrasa program (P1012), facilities and facilities (P1315), teaching staff (P1619), condition of physiological (P2021), condition of the five senses (P22), interest in learning (P2325), intelligence of students (P26), student talent (P27), motivation of students (P28), cognitive ability (P2930). The purpose of this study, namely to determine the most appropriate extraction method used in the analysis. The result of this study is the Maximum Likelihood method which is more appropriate than the Principal Axis Factoring method, because it has a smaller RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error) value.

Abstract

Gaya kognitif dapat mempengaruhi perbedaan pikir siswa, maka dengan mengetahui profil berpikir siswa, diharapkan guru dapat membantu kesulitan siswa, dalam hal ini berpikir statistis siswa berdasarkan gaya kognitif visualizer-verbalizer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil berpikir statistis siswa SMP ditinjau berdasarkan gaya kognitif visualizer-verbalizer pada kelas IX SMPN 11 Jember. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini disajikan berupa aktivitas siswa dalam mendeskripsikan data, organisasi dan reduksi data, memplot data, serta analisis dan interpretasi data. Alat penelitian yang diterapkan berupa tes kemampuan matematika, tes soal statistik, tes gaya kognitif, dan panduan wawancara. Triangulasi waktu juga dilakukan untuk menguji reliabilitas data.
